@Jecca88 I don’t blame you mate honestly , I was like that I just didn’t want to talk to any of my friends as I felt like they ALWAYS said the wrong thing and I just felt angry and riled up
by anythint they said even if they thought they were being comforting !!! So I’m 7 weeks on Thursday so 6 days 6 tomorrow. Was ur first scan 7 weeks ? Xx

@Jecca88 that’s just bloody awful and it does make you wonder if they are trying to get one up just stay away as long as you can, I think I’d even find an excuse to cancel your trip together I don’t think I’d be able to face that. Ugh some people just don’t get it do they🤦‍♀️.

@Jecca88 this last one I lost was pgt a tested. I got 4 embryos all were tested 3 were no good the last was a -16 low level mosaic, it had a 4% less chance than a euploid of being a live birth, after the loss we had it tested and the -16 chromosome had corrected itself so it was some thing else which caused the loss. The fact I only got 4 eggs and 3 were no good is the reason I’m thinking about donor eggs. I did another cycle and there was only one follicle so it was abandoned which is another reason I’m thinking it but if create only look at donor after 45 they must have worse cases than me ( she hopes lol)

@Objectiontime im just like you I just avoid them at all costs. The 2 who have just had babies my hubby has been sweet enough to choose and send the cards and gifts which is a big relief.
@Meg310532 i saw the Katie price thing, my goodness that woman is a nightmare but I totally feel for her as she is similar to me, 3.5 years older and a slightly worse response. I suspect when I go to create and they see my history they will suggest DE’s it will almost be a relief to be honest. The odds for me will be so much better as everything else with me seems to be fine every dr I’ve spoke to thinks it’s my egg quality I did have inflammatory pelvis disease from sepsis from retained products when I was 32 which I wonder if it damaged my eggs, I’m Lucky to have survived it I was that poorly So maybe it was that, my 15 week mc somehow blocked my left tube so every mc I have I feel is lowering my chances more and doing more damage it’s just not fair is it. I need to book an online appt with CRP to see what they would do different. Lol sorry just realised I’ve written an essay there many apologies xxx

@Gizmo1983 I think I will cancel the trip nearer the time, otherwise they will try and find an alternative date and i dont want to tell the truth about why i can't go.

Ahh right, is it really lucky that you had the less than 4% chance but it still implanted? I never really listen to odds tbh, i am in the 1% club of everything. Its funny how even people think 12 weeks is a safe space, when literally anything can go wrong. I had no idea a chromosome issue could correct itself too.

Have the CRP said anything about the latest loss being related to Immune stuff? I suppose you have to have the consultation, its sooo annoying that majority of the time we will never have an explanation as to why that happened. I have read that PGTA testing does massively reduce the number of good eggs.
I am really hopeful for your DE journey :)
My Sister has offered to be a surrogate for me - which is incredible and i think if we went for IVF and two rounds didn't work with me- we would try that.

Hey hun @Jecca88 , @Gizmo1983 just got back from Epsom and had a positive scan! We heard the heart beat which was amazing and everything is currently on track 🤞🤞🤞 thank you for all caring so much even through your hard times that you are going through I appreciate the love and support more than you know ♥️♥️♥️

@Meg310532 that is such a relief and lovely news, i am so please for you. How was it? have you heard a heartbeat before? how magical is it?

@Jecca88 no hun have never got as far as this before ! My loses have all been at like 4-6 weeks ! It was so magical and it was so nice how quickly they reassured me too ! Got another scan next Thursday and intrapalid ! X x. X

This is amazing @Meg310532 can I ask what your journey has been and what treatments you have been on this time? I'm similar with losses usually happening at Week 4.

@recurrentmis so I had a chemical and then a missed misscarriage which I found out at 12 weeks but it had stopped growing at about 6 weeks and then another chemical: so I went to CRP who diagnosed with high activated NK cells and put me onto steroids from ovulation and progesterone along with infusions pre ovulation and then from positive test and then every 4 weeks. X

@Meg310532 OK thank you. I have seen dr Shehata but my NK cells were normal. Still I am taking steroids and progesterone from ovulation.

@recurrentmis ahh okay , hopefully that will help you :) did he find anything at all wrong !? X

@Meg310532 he found absolutely nothing wrong at all. I had a borderline activation marker of NK cells Total NK CD69 absolute count. This was 0.80. But 0.79 would have been normal lol.

@recurrentmis its frustrating when they don’t find anything isn’t it as you want a reason for your loses !! But he still obviously believes the immune side of things could be your cause to put you on steroids?? How many mg ?

@Jecca88 im so sorry I missed what you said about your sister being a surrogate for you what a beautiful person she must be ❤️. Amazing g that you have that option to fallback on xxx it’s like me and my potential DE not what we would ideally choose but if we need to do that to reach our goal ❤️

Thanks @Gizmo1983 yes not what I had planned, but would be amazing. We are very close and it makes sense if she is happy to do it - but understand it is a massive ask/responsibility.
Did another test last night and there is still a faint line - hoping it is gone by Monday as that will be three weeks after the D&C. Were you still testing positive after yours? is that how you found out about the retained products?

Yesterday was hard, my SIL has her baby boy and then my other best mate announced her pregnancy to me (thankfully via text) and she is only 7 weeks. its so hard to know what to respond to those pity messages.

Ugh @Jecca88 i can only imagine how you are feeling when there’s a newborn that close bet you just want to run and hide,I have one sister who’s 38 no kids yet so it’s either imminent or she’s not having any or they’ve tried and it hasn’t happened I’ve probed and she’s never given anything away. Luckily hubbys siblings kids are all older teens so that’s ok.
Yes my test did fade but at 3 weeks it was still there so that’s when I called them if u still have a line at 3 weeks definitely give them a ring, dont let them fob you off when I rang they wouldn’t see me the 1st time I ended up with sepsis and nearly died the 2nd time they wouldn’t see me so I paid for a private scan where it was confirmed I had retained tissue then rang the ward with the proof it’s ridiculous really. I was still bleeding as well though xxx
im on progesterone for 3 weeks to make me have a whopper bleed to get this last 1mm of retained product out but I’m a week in and bleeding bright red like a light period 🤪. Not sure what to do really 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️.
I’m definitely feeling more and more towards just going straight to donor egg the only thing holding me back now is relatives reactions when they find out and if the child resents me for it when they’re older ( we would tell them they were donor from old enough to understand )

Hi everyone, hope you’re all ok. Sorry I’ve been MIA for a while. I had the hysteroscopy/laparoscopy procedure in January and they found lots of endometriosis in my left ovary, all removed now. The bad news is I developed a complication (minor one thankfully) so a small hematoma deep in my pelvis due to more bleeding after the op. It could’ve been a lot worse though so trying to stay positive. Should take a couple of weeks to be re absorbed. So all being well I’ll think of having superovulation in April to give myself plenty of time to heal and recover from the procedure and hematoma.

Dipping back in again - needed some headspace, but I’ve been trying to keep up with you all.

I had a hysteroscopy because my consultant suspected significant and web like adhesions from previous imagery. Weirdly, there’s only one and it’s not in a place that would affect pregnancy, so no need for surgery. What a rollercoaster. The hysteroscopy itself wasn’t pleasant but fine. After that, we got the ok to TTC again and I’m in my TWW. Again. My consultant adjusted the protocol a little - one intralipid prior to ovulation and then a day or two after started aspirin, progesterone, clexane and pred (20mg). Just had the second intralipid yesterday. How long does everyone’s intralipid take? My consultant is insisting it takes 3 hours and it’s driving me nuts by the time I get there and get home.

@Newbeginnings2203 hope you can take some time over these next few weeks to heal well and rest, that sounds rough

@Gizmo1983 how are you doing? This just really seems to be dragging out for you. I’m sorry.

@Jecca88 announcing at 7 weeks? Wow. No words. A colleague brought their newborn into work recently. I made the right noises and asked the right questions etc and then disappeared to my office - it threw me for longer than I expected.

@recurrentmis I guess it’s good news that your NK cells are in range…but it’s frustrating and emotionally exhausting when you can’t clearly pin a reason for losses on something.

@Meg310532 a tentative congrats. Hope the road ahead for you straightens out day by day as you reach milestones. Thanks for the hope.

@v60 my infusion only takes an hour ? Sometimes can be faster if they speed it up a bit but that hurts me so I keep to an hour! The TWW is such a long few weeks isn’t it, I hope it goes quick for you and will keep my fingers crossed! Xx
