VERY IMPORTANT *MESSAGE

I use a persona instead of a cb fertility monitor, but they're pretty much the same thing. Anyhoo, this month with money burning a hole in my pocket I bought a CB digital OV kit (a little device with 5 or 7 test sticks, can't remember exact amount, for £22.99 in Boots.

It's a great bit of kit, uber-precise and when you hit your surge it gives you a symbol. The only drawback is you can't buy replacement sticks and a then stuffed every month for another whole kit

HOWEVER, today I bought a new box of persona sticks and at 5pm I put on in the CB digi, poas and lo and behold a face. I realised yesterday the 2 types of sticks looked identical and when I rang the helpline over a faulty reading, the website gives info on Persona and CB on the same webpage. They are obv the same bloody things!!

What this means girls is for £23 (or £18.38 in Sainsburys) you get a kit for one month then replacement opk sticks for about £8-9, which will last you another 2 months.

Sounds a good deal squarky - all too complicated for me though - gave up on my persona a while back, and just rely on good old EWM now I wonder how many other people know they are the same sticks? Sneaky eh!

yeah kays i was so relieved, started mon, really light now full AF never been so relieved lol!! feels so much less painful without coil too, so whe she's gone gonna give it 2 days the GOF every night

Sounds nice - quiet ones are sometimes the best, esp when you've had a stressful week. I'm meeting some friends in the park tomorrow, so fingers crossed the weather improves. Sunday will be a trying-to-get out-of-going-to-see-the-MIL-day, maybe hijack older dds and take them to cinema

I've gone for a name change this weekend because am feeling totally conception crazy today [good work BB!] Nearly one year since I found MN, and I am still waiting to ttc...I must have the patience of a saint!

Went to see DH's cousin, her DH and their cute DD [16 months] last weekend and DH was very taken by her, so I was quite pleased. First signs he has shown of liking a baby, so that has to be a good thing

Teuch - not sure when I would tell people. Head says keep it secret until after the 12 week scan, but in practice I'm not sure that would work.

CD 69 today, 9 days after I spotted the EWCM for first time, so really hoping AF is gonna show soon, I certainly feel like she is on her way.
