I dont know FAQ but fgs I have left dd and gone to the garden and our garden is not outside our back door infact you can not see our house from the garden....

I wouldn't let dd walk to school at 7 if it was a long way away though as the road outside our house is so busy and even though it is a 30 mph the cars drive as if it was a bloody motorway.....

kayzisexpecting · 29/04/2008 20:05

The school is next door LL. I'd be happy with DS walking next door at 7.

Have you found the BAR we have a laugh in there if you fancy joining in.

nobodyputsBBinthecorner · 29/04/2008 20:07

LL...ciggys???! well madam?!?! lol

lardylumps · 29/04/2008 20:10

BB I only have one when drinking and as i am off the booze now I wont need one will I..... I gave up as soon as I found out I was pg with dd up until i stoped feeding her. And will do the same again

kayzisexpecting · 29/04/2008 20:10

nobodyputsBBinthecorner · 29/04/2008 20:19

lol ok LL we will let you off then he he!

that AIBU thread has been up for discussion with me and DP, and we both aggree best thing you can do is teach your children to be streetwise and that your voice is your best weapon.

kayzisexpecting · 29/04/2008 20:21

Thats what we will do too.

nobodyputsBBinthecorner · 29/04/2008 20:22

Diege · 29/04/2008 20:29

Hello! Well so much for getting back on last night after work! A nightmare busy day again, but roll on Thursday when I'm working from home (ie, can catch up and post properly!).
LL, thank you so much for your lovely post -really made me smile . Yep, all behind me now, but was a bit weepy with it all tbh as I am normally go out of my way (to stupid extremes) to avoid conflict of any kind!! Love your posts too (brown nose back ) and the hug was great too .
Nat, arghh, what a nightmare day you've had - it really touched a nerve when reading about your ds pushing away calpol last night, as this is something dd3 does with me - have to admit that's when I get close to losing it . I think your 'tough' approach is excellent btw, and will pay dividends if you stick to it! That reminds me, d'you remember me giving you advice about CC - HOW long ago does that seem!!! Hope you get a better night's sleep tonight .
Teuch, yah to the big strong BFP!! Have you stopped worrying now lady?
Cosmo about your rubbish day, anything in particular or just a bleughh one? Hey Kay, Haven't stopped thinking about cherry sherbert since I read your post (my mouth is watering now!). Do you remember the sherbert packets with the divider down the middle, and a hard fizzy stick to dip in?? One side was cherry I think? (or are you too young ). about your dh though and not dressing ds!!
Moosma, boo to lumpy sheets!!! I am so rubbish with sick, and end up throwing them in the machine lumps attached, and then of course have the joy of shaking out 'clean' washed lumps onto the floor - I am such a slattern! LOVE the pictures of toys on then line Playing, hmm no 1K not so good eh - agree sounds OK on paper, but per month bet you don't notice it ; at least it's something! We (as a union) were on strike all last summer, which is a real bummer as it's so hard losing a days pay - in my heart I am a union girl though, so had to go throguh with it though it did pain me a bit . Won in end though and got our (sort of) rise!
Squack - to EWM, but what are these pole dancing shoes you talk of . Have I missed something???
Hi to everyone else I've missed, popcorn (hello!!), GJ .
Phew, hopefully I've learned my lesson and will try and build in regular MN breaks into my working day. I'm sure my students would understand!

kayzisexpecting · 29/04/2008 20:32

OMG Diege. I could kiss you!! They are called Dib Dabs. I am so going to the shop in the morning.

nobodyputsBBinthecorner · 29/04/2008 20:33

you missed me

nobodyputsBBinthecorner · 29/04/2008 20:34

lol i do like dipdabs, they are cheap too! genius invention x

Squack · 29/04/2008 20:46

I love ya BB!

Pole dancing shoes are black patent leather platfom peep toe heels with 6 inch heels that I thought no-one on here had read, Diege you attentive devil you . I already have stiletto heels I could wear so I might visit AS instead and pick up some handcuffs and a whip instead, might come in handy you never know

I'm going to a pimps n prostitutes party for a 40th birthday at the weekend and it's obv fancy dress.

I'm going dressed as Storm from X-men

Will post pic on fb as soon as, so if you're not my fb-friend then you'll need to be by Saturday!

Moosma · 29/04/2008 20:46

to everybody, especially BB (poor you!)

DD2 is asleep now, she hardly ate any tea, only drank a little bit of milk at bedtime then threw it up again (on the sofa , another load in the washing machine...). Hopefully she will sleep well tonight and get better, I really don't like sick!

Moosma · 29/04/2008 20:47

Squack, can't wait to see the pictures, and that you can walk in 6 inch heels!

Squack · 29/04/2008 20:48

I'm off to buy jellytots now

I don't know how old everyone else is, but those in your 30's, has your sex drive shot through the roof?

Since I came off the pill a couple of months ago, mine is a lot higher, I'm wondering if it was always like this or is my age. Only really been of pill ttc, so I'm not sure.

Squack · 29/04/2008 20:49

Given how tight the costume is I think stand looking domineering might be required.

Maybe I need a longer whip

nobodyputsBBinthecorner · 29/04/2008 20:52

lol thanks all!

ohh i dolike a gd costume! tho i would prob topple over in those heels Squack!! arg why is the tv so pants until thurs?? i cant justify making DP turn football over!!

Diege · 29/04/2008 20:55

Ahhh BB, and I thought I had done so well . Now, you know it's nothing personal!! [stern look and double sqeezy hug] .
OOh Squack, sounds a fab costume! (bet dh will love it too!)

Diege · 29/04/2008 20:56

kayzisexpecting · 29/04/2008 20:56

DS seems fine tonight so no late night baths due to covering all and sundry in Calpol. But as DS doesm he decided to poo as we were going up to bed. He always does that.
