Follow up form TTC BABY #1 - cycle buddies.
For all the girls trying to conceive their first baby !

I’m either 3 or 1 DPO, I feel like my TWW may be made easier by thinking we potentially missed the window so nothing could happen 😅

If I go off CM and LH tests I would presume 1DPO and we did manage a couple of times in the window but if it’s BBT and 3DPO it’s highly unlikely 🤣

Never used this brand no, but you could maybe nip out and buy a few different ones to settle your mind and test with them in a few days 😊 fingers crossed for you it looks good so far!!

@Toppstileslover It seems we're in the exact same boat, ttc and house hunting, we had an unsuccessful offer about a week ago and everything got so overhwleming so I know exactly how you feel!! I'm there with you 🤯💪

@slothbat 😂 I feel you ! We only DTD last night so far as LH is rising but the challenge is awaiting this weekend 🤣🤣🤣

@KT199 aw I felt like that last month as DH was ill and I think we DTD too early. I think it takes the stress off for the cycle but honestly anything can happen girl !

I know…been staring at it this morning i would say it was definitely positive. But did another one and a clear blue this morning & they’re neg so really confused. I think it’s due Sunday xx

@Lila34830 Apps have recalculated me (again!!) and I’m apparently 3DPO today.. my bonus is that because it’s earlier than expected I’ve skipped two days of the wait 🤣 and we did DTD sun/mon/tue so there is still a chance if it’s correct and doesn’t move again. BBT is awful to track 🤯🤣 1/10 would not recommend.

The funny thing is days before I was discussing the worry of going too soon and I very nearly left it too late 🥲. Harder work than expected trying to track/predict cycles!!

@Fashionlover123 oh I’m sorry to read this!! It didn’t look like an evap or indent 😔. Your not out until AF shows but it must be so disheartening and confusing ☹️

You know what I considered tracking bbt but I won't 😂 I'm shit at numbers , looks too complicated and I was reading that It's not necessarily more reliable than the strips , I would probs do it wrong anyways 🤣🤣🤣

@KT199 well well well this is so weird we're having this conversation, as I'm not predicted to peak until Saturday and I just went for a wee to test and I have loads of CM ! We DTD yesterday but I guess tonight is also the night 😂 why is this ttc journey throwing all the curveballs !!!

@Lila34830 our bodies trying to confuse us 😅😅 yes just cover incase as the CM is meant to be our bodies signal too isn’t it! it’s so hard to know which to listen to, should we listen to CM or LH?! Which is more reliable 😂

@KT199 is CM supposed to come during fertility week, or just before ovulation ? 😂 I'm so lost. I think I'm gonna peak today. so will DTD today and tomorrow .... and Saturday if we even have any energy 😂
Told DH yesterday that we wouldn't need to DTD again until Saturday. 🤣

@Lila34830 it can start in fertile window but meant to be at highest level just before or during ovulation.. but also I don’t think everyone’s follows that pattern 🤣 it really is a minefield!
Hahahahaha, hopefully he is happy about it and just goes with it 🤣 I feel like my OH is ok with the idea of more sex than usual and isn’t so phased it’s more me having to gear myself up 😂

@KT199 last month I kind of had no hope as I had no cm at all , so that's good news.
Omg well we were excited at first but because it's all " timed " it becomes unnatural ... and I know people say we should only DTD when we actually want to, but come on, 4 days fertile a month, you can't really skip them 😂

Attempted DTD last night but no success story. Thought we might have been out this month but tested again today and we might have been to soon anyway. So guess we're still in? 🤞

Your peak is definitely today! So i would DTD today and tomorrow to cover all basis !

@Lila34830 Agreed!! I think it’s a lot of pressure when in your head you feel like you HAVE to and the window is so small, but 8 years into our relationship we are way past sex consecutive days 🤣 so there’s no way it wasn’t gonna feel forced. I think the first month did feel quite fun and exciting but the last two not so much 😂 the reality of AF arriving and it not being as short journey as I’d hoped has contributed to that though! Even though we are still realistically still so early on in the journey😂

have you tried feeling your cervix? I’ve been reading about that it should feel higher and softer if you have concieved but tbh I don’t know what mine feels like normally x

I am feeling cramping really low down, i feel like I am going to drive myself mad this month with probably just normal life symptoms :( anyone else the same? X

@Frenchtoastie I was the exact same last month (first cycle ttc), every little twinge I was convinced was symptoms 😅

I'm now starting to worry as I really don't develop any CM, which I'm now learning is super important to conceive. I thought it was just my age and I was drying up 🥲 but now I'm worried it's an actual fertility issue. So many things to consider, my heeds burst 😆

Have you ever had any CM or just noticed this last month you had less?
I’ve read grapefruit juice is suppose to increase it not sure if that’s a wives tale though x
