Just thought I'd post this to find some buddies in the TTC journey as a clueless gal trying for baby #1 ! 🫶🏽
Ovulated today, so I guess the 2WW starts ! ⏰
Anyone else starting their 2WW ? ☺️

Same here I’m testing in hope 🤣 I’m due the 13/14th (I was on a 27 day cycle last month!) but 9/10DPO I’m not 100% as I don’t temp.. I will start next month if this month isn’t our month though. I’ll be spending a fortune on these tests just for AF to arrive I’m sure 😭 did it take you long to conceive your first 2 babies? xx

No first try both times so this is all new to me

Ladies, quite a general AF question.
I never have had spotting, prior to AF starting before my ttc journey.. I got it last cycle for the day before and seems to be happening again this cycle. I just wondered for tracking purposes if you would count this as CD1 or wait until actual flow appears (most likely tomorrow)?

@KT199 I'm in the same boat as you, I normally only spot about 12 hours before I start actual period, but this time it was almost 2 days! So I just started counting as full AF from the day I knew for sure it looked like a usual period.
I don't even know if that makes any sense but I hope it does 😅

@KT199 @littlebluu I would say cd1is first day of bleeding regardless of the nature of the bleeding but if you spot for a second that it doesn't stain a pad or barely not and then come on properly a day after maybe count the day after as af! What do you think ? Xx

Google has informed be that CD1 is the first day of full flow / bright red blood, spotting doesn’t count as CD1.. so yeah @littlebluu looks like your guess was right! @Lila34830 I guess if it’s a proper flow the yeah CD1 but mine is literally like 2/3 spots so think I’m best to wait until AF has arrived in full force to say I’m CD1 😂

Every day is a school day with this ttc journey! 🤣 there’s so much to know and understand! Can you believe they never taught us any of this 😂 but they did put the fear into everyone that if you look at a boy you get pregnant so must go on birth control! I would like to have a word with that teacher right now and find out why I aren’t pregnant as going off what I was told I should have been pregnant instantly 🤣

I feel this comment so much, those teachers put the fear of god into me, that fear kept me on the pill for 13 years and now I'm having to learn how my cycles actually work at 30 years old 😂

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with the CB Ovulation digital test?

I've read that you're not supposed to test once you've had the peak until your next cycle - but my cycle is always a bit all over the place due to Endometriosis - and I've had (tmi) a LOT of EWCM yesterday and today. (More so than I can remember EVER having)

So I got curious, took the test and got a peak smiley?! But I am 11dpo.... I'm so so so confused with what's going on.

Hi lovely, ovulation isn't an exact science so the apps would tell you 14 dpo but you could ovulate around this date ! (I ovulate usually at 18 dpo !)
So based on your ewcm id say you will or are ovulating. I'm no expert obvs. If o were you I would get the pre mum ovulation tests, cheaper and more reliable than CB (I think!)

I got the static smiley on 28/09 so as far as I'm aware I'm still in the TWW, but all these symptoms are really confusing the life out of me!

No worries it's so confusing!! I've tested this morning and BFN!

I've read stories of people who got a peak and then BFP a few days later but it's so hard not to get my hopes up - I'm trying to be positive but honestly I'm just confused more than anything.

@Parks17 is when are you due ? I'd deffo test again tomorrow in case x

I do use this test, interesting you’ve got a peak result. Have you actually tried a pregnancy test? Only asking as obviously it’s flashed peak as your LH levels must be high.. I know LH tests pick up HCG but it is usually after it’s detectable by a early detection test..

@Parks17 sorry just read you have tested. Maybe wait another few days and take another test or test again in the morning the Clear blue is very sensitive to LH rises vs the typical OPK strip.

I must admit I do not know much about endometriosis, is it a typical symptom to have quite high LH similar to PCOS? As if yes, this test may give you a peak result a lot of the time, due to the sensitivity of the test to LH.

Trying best to remain calm but had weird CM today and a google says it could be early pregnancy 👀 Have also been having horrific reflux, beyond the norm for me and not responding as usual to treatment. Give me strength to not test till Saturday when period is due 🙏🏻
Still feeling quite PMS'y so head's a bit all over!!

My friend thought she ovulated on CD 19 due to peak but after 2.5 years she realised it’s actually CD 27 when her second peak arrived and finally pregnant after all this time! Could this be ovulation do you think? X

@Lila34830 My apps are not accurate as some months I don't get a period BUT it's showing as 15th October - I think I'm gonna test over the next few days and see... most recent test is BFN but that was mid afternoon

@KT199 yeah BFN so far :( I'm not sure about the LH with Endo as i've been off the pill for 2 years and very irregular and have not been able to track ovulation properly until this months when I finally got that peak 11 days ago!

@Gemmaemilyx Oh wow - it might be! Maybe need to DTD to cover all bases?!
