Just thought I'd post this to find some buddies in the TTC journey as a clueless gal trying for baby #1 ! 🫶🏽
Ovulated today, so I guess the 2WW starts ! ⏰
Anyone else starting their 2WW ? ☺️

Hope everyone is planning on having the most stress free weekend they can manage!
I promised myself no baby or house-hunting stuff today and to use Saturday to do absolutely zero...what's the bets it'll get to 5pm and I'll be testing 😆😆

Just catching up on all the posts

Felt like I was getting a cold during the night, kept waking up with a chesty cough and runny nose. Felt some sharp pin prick pains for about half an hour. It's so hard not to symptom spot.

Told myself no more testing until at least 10dpo, but woke up this morning 8dpo and tested. Of course nothing.

What about you?

@littlebluu Hey! I have the same intention as you to do absolutely nothing!!! It's been manic this week at work so this weekend I plan to do as little as possible! I have really bad cramps today so thinking AF is on the way! So just watching crap on TV feeling sorry for myself 😂😂😂

@Parks17 omg I've felt the same week! Had what I felt was a cold coming the past two nights but nothing materialised also 8/9DPO AND BFN so again like you not resting again now till next week!

The temptation to test at 8DPO has got to loads of us, and we’ve all had the same result sadly ☹️. Fingers crossed we’ve just tested too early and some of us will see some changed results next week. I’m 9/10DPO and after testing yesterday afternoon forced myself to go for a wee this morning instantly with no test present. Wanting to wait now until Monday/Tuesday as originally planned.

Had 0 symptoms so not hopeful, as I clearly had a build up of progesterone 6/7DPO with the bloating and sore boobs which have disappeared since, as they would when progesterone levels decrease and let AF come along.

But I do have a busy weekend, so hopefully keeping myself and mind elsewhere and what will be will be!

It's so awful isn't it - my OH was saying 'just wait it's only another week!' as if every single day hasn't already felt like a full month!! They just don't get it.

Nope! A week feels like a lifetime!!! Xx

Morning all, just catching up, I'm 7/8 dpo I think, still too early for me to test 😭 waiting until AF is due if I can (lol watch me test in a couple of days 😂)
Hope one of us (or many?) get their bfp soon xxx

@Lila34830 Hey! Yeah try hold off as long as possible (easier said than done!) 😂😂 just so disappointing to test early with a BFN!

Hoping there are lots of BFPs in the next couple of weeks ❤️❤️❤️

@littlebluu Ahh that must be tough! Really hope the timing works out for you this month 🤞🏻🤞🏻 I agree, the thought of going through this every month seems so daunting, especially since we've only just started.

Time is going so fast (how is it October already??) but yet when you're in the TWW time just dragssssss by! That's why I'm so glad we can all huddle together in this little corner of MN and talk with other people who understand 😊

It's sooo annoying that most of the early pregnancy symptoms also happen to be symptoms of PMS! Im questioning every single little symptom I have 🤦🏻‍♀️ I ate a bit of cheese last week that tasted weird and thought it meant something was happening with my body... but no, I'm just crazy 😂

In response to the joker, it was not the one 🥲 completely deviated from how they said the two met, the musical element was too much and literally nothing happened. Very disappointed!

@KT199 Evening lovely! I've got really bad pain on one side and my lower back has it most the day don't know if it's in preparation for AF as I felt awful last month before my period! How are you feeling? Xx

Ahh! Sounds good though, but equally it’s so scary to get your hopes up then be disappointed so understand why you don’t wanna jump to any conclusions.

Yeah I’m feeling good, no symptoms in all honesty just feel very normal. But I did manage to stop myself testing today, so that’s a small win for me as last cycle I was testing twice daily, even though I said I wouldn’t test after my first negative. And I think mentally, I feel loads better having not tested.. probably as the disappointment feels REAL when you see that negative test!

@KT199 evening gal, nothing to report either here. No symptoms at all apart from tender boobs but that's typical for me at this time of the cycle. Not tested yet, but I don't even feel like it's worth it this month 😭 onto the next one I guess 🤞🏼

i see that most of us feel out, i can add myself too, im like @Lila34830 no symptoms or gut feeling… im not even tempted to go buy tests for next week…
little bumped abt it to be honest!
im making comfy food and planning to binge watch something tonight.

It is rubbish, but if we don’t get out BFP’s I feel a little better going into next month knowing I’ve got people I can chat with about it! We will have to continue with this thread or create a new one, it’s been really helpful for my mental health having you all to vent/talk/sound crazy to!! So a big thank you to all of you for that! 🙂

I'm the same I don't even feel the need to test which tells me I'm deffo out , it's been a bit of a bummer week so I think I've lost the potential excitement for it too this month... just want af to arrive and onto the next cycle !

Agreed! As much as I hope at least one of us gets a BFP this month, at least we're all in this together
