CE, thank you. Happy you had a good time. Now you made me fancy lasagna but I have no oven yet... Spag bol it is.

HC I feel lost, confused but strangely intrigued. Do tell me more. What can a water butt do for me? (BB: the right person got evicted, right? Yeah I?ve been sucked in..)

Hi Juanitad waves You OK?

Ceebee, concert sounds H-O-T! And inspirational: Well done for hitting a class! Don?t get me started on #$*!!# men please. Yeah it?s one of those days.

14 dpo and no AF yet. I can SO feel it coming any time now. Haven't tested because I know it would be BFN and just feel like a brain-f*ck (sorry!) to then waffle around waiting for AF, clinging onto tiny hope.
Might test tomorrow once I'm up, showered etc but probably won?t need to.
Symptoms conflicting. Trying not to think of it but difficult: Spare white stringy CM (a bit unusual if I'm honest) but v typical period-like tingly cramping in lower abdomen & back yesterday & today. However boobs are unusually calm. Temper is scary. From euphoric to murderous in 2 minutes. DH said I?ve been feeling really hot. Then he fled to B&Q.

Nice evening all. x

HumphreysCorner · 14/06/2008 20:04

Mandy-you have all the classic symptoms (have been lurking on the symptom spotters thread ) Will AF be late if you test tomorrow? BB-yep, Stephanie had to go! A water butt collects rainwater from your gutters so you can use it to water your pots, hanging baskets, plants etc. Saves on water rates. Thing is, they soon become smelly and mum and dad introduced me to Jeyes Fluid (currently stinking my kitchen cupboard out).

Meant to say, have found one of the Motorbike GP riders on Facebook so have added him as a friend for a laugh. Bet he ignores me. See who else I can stalk!

HC, yeah perhaps I do have all the classic symptoms, but of what?
I know. Of symptom spotting.

Think I may be testing tomorrow if AF doesn't kick me in the gut 1st thing in the morning.

Thanks for water butt education. Had no idea! x

HumphreysCorner · 14/06/2008 22:28

Wishing you all the luck in the world. A lady on one of those threads I lurked on was saying exactly the same things as you and got a BFP.

Night all, off to symptom spot.

Ooo - Mandy are you up yet? (probably not as no children to get you up at this time on a Sunday - Bellie dreams of lying in past 7)

Have not managed to get sucked into BB yet, but there is still time....

Glad Boyzone were good, and that they were still as toned as a few years ago!!!

Has anyone got plans for fathers day? DH has said that he would like to go to the zoo, so we are going to try Battersea Childrens zoo. Not sure what it will be like, but it is a day out and means that I don't have to cook (still struggling with raw products [boak])

Have a good one!

HumphreysCorner · 15/06/2008 10:37

Any news Mandy?

Thanks for being so caring girls!

Bellie, I envy you for having to get up you know. Don't touch the raw stuff if you can't bear it!!

No news here really. Was going to test this morning but then had blood streaked CM = AF is imminent. So just left it. Oh well. Feeling distinctly 'symptom free' but like AF is coming any minute (that reminds me - must go to the loo again! )

Have a lovely Sunday all. x

Mandy73 · 15/06/2008 12:13

Speak of the devil - AF is here.

Actually I'm more OK with it than I expected. This was always going to be a strange month TTC and I'm really pleased I tried the OPK.
I say: Bring on next cycle!
Thank you so much for all the support. xx

ceebee74 · 15/06/2008 13:10

Mandy - really sorry that AF got you but you sound positive about it and next month is another month and all that!

Bellie - lol at dreaming about lying in past 7 - I have those fantasys aswell Twas 6.30 this morning - ouch!! Hope you are having a nice day.

Not much Fathers Day stuff happening here as DH is playing cricket! Had to go out and get him a McD's brekkie this morning and then I had to go to aerobics to burn off the calories! DS enjoyed the pancakes and syrup though .

DS just gone for a nap so I think I will join him in the land of nod.

HumphreysCorner · 15/06/2008 15:09

Oh Mandy-damn that evil bint! GGGRRRHHH!!! CD 1 so get ready to wee on those OPKs very soon.

ceebee-hope you enjoyed your nap. Em and I have just done some weeding and just got finished before the heavens opened.

Invited MIL for tea as FIL was away fishing but turns out he is home this morning so both are coming. Ho hum.

Bye for now.

MJIM - have a fantastic holiday - hope the sun shines all week for you

x

Bellie · 15/06/2008 20:10

Mandy - sorry af got you . Still another month of fun trying is the best way to look at it I always thought!

MJIM - have a fab hol - sunshine all the way

Battersea park was good - dd loved the playground (why are the playgrounds more exciting than the animals ) and the otters and the monkeys were fab!

HC - are you still in the rain? We have been in shorts and t-shirts today again!! Hope you had a good tea with pil!!

HumphreysCorner · 15/06/2008 21:18

Have a brill holiday MJIM-see you when you get back.

Had a great meal with PIL then I said something that clearly pissed off FIL and DH so in bad books now. I give up!

Having more wine, shouldn't really as I feel awful so may be pickling a potential embryo. Have been digging and weeding today and it exhausted me. FGS the egg won't even have tried to embed yet. Watching BB then off to bed and create a division on our bed!

Love to all

Hi everyone!

Flying visit from me too, supposed to be washing and cleaning ect, trying to get everythign straight as we are off on our hols at the end of the week.

Mandy, sorry to hear the evil AF got you...grrr!

Not had a great weekend. Excitedly tried to go shopping on Saturday, was utterly disappointed with the selection of boys clothes, plus they have yet to bring out the winter stuff yet. I couldn't even find basic terry sleepsuits in blue in mothercare, talk about useless! All I managed was to give myself the monster of stonking headaches. Then yesterday I suffered really badly with hayfever, so today am still feeling quite bunged up.

Thanks for my birthday wishes. I had a great day, was spoilt for a change, lol! My main gift was a new camera, so I will probably bore you all to death with my pics over the coming months. Still learning the ropes, it is a little different to my point & shoot camera (now have a digital superzoom, a small step down from a DSLR - which is what I would really like at some point, but best get used to the one I have first, lol!)

majormoo · 16/06/2008 13:23

have a great holiday MJIM and HM2j

Hope this is your month Mandy

HC am sure the wine will be fine!

I watched BB but wanted Mario to go.

Been away most of the weekend at my parents. We had a lovely weekend but the kids had two late nights so will be tetchy later in the week.

We've just had a huge hail storm!

ChocolateEclair · 16/06/2008 13:41

Hi guys. I was wondering if anyone was around as could really do with a chat.

Have had had the worst weekend ever. Our little pip has died. Don't know what else to put but utterly devestated

CE xx

Bellie · 16/06/2008 13:50

CE I'm here -

what has happened?

ChocolateEclair · 16/06/2008 13:57

Oh thanks bellie

Started off with period type pains, then started bleeding. Got an appointment at EPU this morning and had 2 scans. They couldn't find a heartbeat and baby was much smaller than it should have been for 7 weeks .

Have to go back next Monday for another scan, but they expect me to MC naturally before then, if not they will take me into theatre then.

MrsPuddleduck · 16/06/2008 14:11

CE - so so so sorry

Are you with someone?

ChocolateEclair · 16/06/2008 14:17

Yeah, thanks willmouse

DP took the day off work so he was with me the whole time.

TBH I pretty much knew what the sonographer was going to say before she said it. She was very nice though and said how sorry she was

HumphreysCorner · 16/06/2008 14:20

Oh ChocEclair-am so sorry. Please rest as much as you can (this is what I was told) until your next scan. As you have already started to bleed I suspect you will MC naturally but they will help you when you go back for your next scan. I really am so sad for you as it is the worst thing ever to happen and it has brought tears to my eyes. As willmouse said, you are not on your own and not at work are you? Here if you need to talk.

I really don't know what to say.

I'm sure someone on here on this thread has gone through this before, hopefully they will be able to give you some advice.

I'm so sorry for you, next Monday seems an awful long time away for you. Hopefully nature will take its course so you don't have to have any medical intervention or anything.

At least you have your DH with you for support.

ceebee74 · 16/06/2008 14:26

CE - am so very very sorry I cannot even begin to imagine how you feel. Please rest as much as you can and go and find a MC support group here if you feel upto it.

Take care xx
