4dpo, impatiently waiting! Anyone else? Positive vibes only please

Hey, thought I'd start this thread to wait out the painful TWW with anyone in a similar boat.

I'm quite an anxious person so only positivity and happy stories welcome please.

I had a terrible time trying to conceive a few years back with an ex due to infertility on his side, and so now I have met my life partner and we have started trying this cycle I am struggling not to feel down like I did before even though it's someone different.

I must add that we did have one off unprotected sex last cycle and I had a chemical. So I am hoping we will be lucky soon.

I have a lower egg reserve and I am 35 so anyone in a similar boat to me I'd love to hear from you.

Me - 35 - think I'm 4dpo. I'm trying not to symptom spot this month and I'm banned from tests . Even ovulation tests were sending me over the edge. However I'll probably allow myself to from 7/8dpo as a reward haha

Hey I feel you I'm 32 and I'm impatiently waiting!! With my son I tested way earlier like at 10dpo but before him I had a chemical pregancy , currently trying for my second 6dpo and just want the positive stories aswell.

@YourRealLion haha I am not a tester lol my brain can't handle a BFN. I'd rather live in hope for a few more days! Is this your first? Do you normally have a 14 day LP? I am due on 15th and I am going to be in Majorca so I am hoping my period doesn't come at the beginning of my holiday or it will be a double whammy but tbh I suspect it will!!

I have 25 day cycles since may & calculated I ovulate around cd11/cd12. It's my second time. Although we've only had two opportunities this month on cd9/cd10 as he also has to work away sometimes. I am also due on the 15th! 😄... Last month I went overboard symptom spotting, I even accidentally used an ovulation test and was convinced it was a bfp - 😭.. until I read the box. so this month I'll try to wait as long as possible

Hey, I'll join too! I'm currently 5 DPO but that's based on my Flo app and I've had some weird twinges that have made me think ovulation could have been earlier. I'm also trying not to test as when I tested with my first born I constantly got BFN until after missed period. Saying that, I expect I'll cave around 10dpo 😂😂

Funny how summer holidays just brush by you but can't wait 10 days to see if your periods going to come, symptom checking like a mad woman. I'm so bloated but unsure if its all the carbs I've been eating out of nerves trying to not symptom check every step of the way. 😅xxx

I'm eating like a horse, but I also did the same last month. Decided this week it's just progesterone symptoms and see what next week brings. Although I am mega emotional this evening and have a weird taste in my mouth!

My appetite has been all over the place, a few days ago I was really off food and today I'm like a human dustbin! 🤷🏽‍♀️

Joining! I'm also in the TWW, AF due on the 14th and been TTC since the beginning of the year. Had a miscarriage in June and was hoping I'd be one of those who got pregnant straight away the next cycle and was three days late last cycle so massively had my hopes up but nope.. I've said if I'm not pregnant this cycle I'll go next cycle without tracking and ovulation testing as feel like we could both do with a bit of a break

@YourRealLion omg we sound like cycle twins lol, I have 25 day cycles and ovulate on day 11 or sometimes 12! Crazy! Our period is due on the same day. Sorry for being silly but is this your second try or second baby lol? It will be my first try and first baby. I am not a tester I don't know how people do it, I get scared for a BFN lol 😂 hoping so much for a May baby though. X

Ah how do you track ovulation? I don't use OPKs or anything, I just use cervical mucus and ovulation pain. Hopefully you did ovulate earlier and this is the start of something!

@PSYJAM omg I know right! I feel like my holiday next Saturday is creeping up on me fast, by the day I go I will be 14dpo & I feel like my holiday will be here so soon yet my period or BFP feels like forever 🤣

I went off my food when I had a chemical. That happened twice, both were chemicals but that was unrelated to the fact I didn't fancy anything lol

Hey - cycle twin! Second attempt at ttc, never had an interest until last year !! Last month first attempt at ttc drove myself crazy with testing so now I will try hold out as long as possible.

Currently just unusually oily hair, and as I said funny taste in mouth/sensitive gums, I am ignoring spotting any cramps and CM as I was checking this all last month and it led to nothing - just my partner thinking I'd lost the plot. 😅

Hey! So sorry about your miscarriage that's horrible. Hopefully your sticky BFP is round the corner! Maybe take a month off from doing all that if you feel like it? Just have regular sex and you may find that taking your mind off things does the trick. Although I hate it when people say that to me because thinking about pregnancy and tracking ovulation doesn't prevent it. The whole "relax and it will happen" comments are doing my head in already and it's only cycle 1. Is this your first baby? Are you 35 too? X

@YourRealLion ok so we are super similar in this case too! I did have sex once last cycle in my fertile period and I had a chemical but that was like a practice month I didn't have much sex in that week as I had a lot going on.
It's so hard not to symptom spot! I have been bloated and gassy and irritated all day, tired and miserable and if I was 7/8dpo I'd put it down to pregnancy but at 4dpo I know it's just me or progesterone lol.
I try really hard to tell myself I'm chilled and it's all fine & in reality I am but I am the most impatient person in the world! And I hate the not knowing!!
Each cycle I know il get more and more impatient 🫣

Yes I am! No this would be my second, it took me over a year the first time and it was oddly the month when I thought I was out as I went away when I was ovulating so only BD once quite early in my cycle

@HopefulSS I don't track my ovulation properly just put my period dates in Flo and use that as a guide. It's my first month TTC #2 so if we're struggling in a few months I might start tracking it properly!

I'm also going on holiday soon, next Sunday. I'll be 17dpo, so I'll either be pregnant or able to enjoy a little drinky poo on the beach. Positive vibes!!! 😛

@SunshineMine yeah that's how I am seeing it, il either be pregnant on Sunday when I am on hols or il be able to drink and enjoy my holiday normally and pass the time until my next fertile window when I am back!

I use Flo too but I find it tells me I ovulate later by two to three days, so I use period tracker as well. How do you know you are ovulating do you bbt or do you know by cervical mucus etc? Xx
