Same here BB, I want a scan booked and waiting for me at 6 weeks.... dream on!! If not, will be booking a private one, I don't fancy the 'I need a scan, I'm bleeding' route.

I am here as well BB. I only had one scan with dd and that was at 22 weeks. I paid for abnormality scan at 12 weeks £175...

bloody heck LL they arent cheap are they!! thats half a buggy!! blooming norah! me thinks i shall plead complications if need arises ha ha i know its wrong but PFB and all that x

You have to have a 20 week scan.

yep i had a 20 week scan but was away so only had it at 22 weeks. I had paid for the 12 week abnormality scan as I was told i was at a high risk of downs due to my age, no need for someone of your age to have one bb

It depends where you live. Round here the 12 week isn't an abnormality scan its just a dating scan and to see how many you are having. You have to go private for the Nuchal Fold scan.

I had only just found out i was pg then and still only got 20 week one...
