4dpo- TTW 😬😬😬

Hi everyone! I’ve been reading mumsnet for sooo long and it has kept me going with this journey of trying to conceive! We’ve been trying for 7 years now and had one ectopic 6 years back. We went to see a specialist last August and was told I have Polycystic ovaries on my left side so we were going through the IVF journey where I was put on metformin for 6 months but then I got pneumonia on Boxing Day😢 and so wasn’t back to my normal self until February time. Since then I’ve had other problems so haven’t been back to see the specialist so it’s been quite a stressful year! So this is our first cycle of ttc within a year before we get our appointment to see the specialist again. I was in two minds and thought I’ll just wait and see the specialist but then I thought why not try again! I see so many people out there who conceive with PCO so why not 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m currently 4dpo and so the ttw is hard! Anyone else out there currently 4dpo?

@Jadeypie i think im going to wait until Friday bevause I think if it test before then I just know I’ll get too upset if it’s negative. But I really really want to test now so I don’t have to keep waiting😅 I’m just in two minds! Like I keep thinking “am I pregnant” with having a few tingles and aches in my boobs but then I’m trying to think back on my last cycles and what symptoms I had then that’s different to now, you know what I mean?

@imy hello! I’m the same thinking surely a line would show by now if I am! But we’re not out until af arrives! Fingers crossed for you too🤞 x

@Jadeypie hopefully then!🤞 my boobs are more sore and achy today but I don’t know if I usually get that so close to af 🤷🏻‍♀️ xx

Hi, how are we feeling? @Jadeypie @imy I’ve been feeling like crap all day and my boobs are still quite tender today and getting tingling feeling every now and again. 11dpo and I took another test about 20 mins ago and still negative🥲 AF due Friday so I’m trying to hold on using my other test until then!

@Lauren906 sorry to hear about the negative but still plenty of time for that to change xx

@Lauren906 it really is. That's why these early tests are a nightmare because they make you test too early. I'm alright tbh still little twitches sore boobs and constipation which it the complete opposite to me gahaha xx

oh really😂 I saw a post yesterday and someone said “if your having symptoms related to pregnancy then the test would show positive but if it’s negative then it’s af coming” and it really made me think like I stress soo much of comparing when they are so similar! And each month it’s different so it’s so hard! Xx

Hi both, hope you’re doing ok 😊 I’m still negative at 12DPO so counting myself out now and looking forward to a new cycle. I am going to focus on improving my wellbeing this cycle. I am really really stressed at work and so I’m going to try to relax more, sleep more and make sure I’m exercising enough. I got pregnant really quickly with my first and I was just so much more relaxed and healthier back then! X

Hi @imy are you sure you’re 12dpo? I’m sure you said you were 9dpo Monday? Don’t give up just yet!🤞🤞but I totally get you, being in that positive mind frame and looking after yourself. I’m 12dpo today not going to test until Friday if af doesn’t show xx

Ah sorry yes I was 11DPO! But I do tend to count myself out around that time personally. I came on my period today so just looking forward to the next cycle! I’ve been making a real effort to prioritise relaxing and taking care of myself and I do definitely feel better for it. Fingers crossed! Good luck for Friday, let us know!! X

I started bleeding a bit today but got no cramps or anything. I’ve been spot on with my cycles this year so don’t understand how I’ve come on a day early. I’ve looked back on my app and I’ve been 27 days so I don’t know what to think! But I’m going to do what you’re doing and just try and relax and thing positive. Thanks to both for listening and chatting , it’s been nice to have someone to talk to who’s in the same boat with me!🥰🥰

@Lauren906 aww sorry af caught you too. U possibly could have ovulated a day early, and that's why af has come or just one of these pesky hormone fluctuations, get a nice large wine some chocolate and watch a good movie xx

I'm up the wall! started the blood tests to measure pregnancy and it's just so triggering like last time so I'm on ONE got my 2nd bloods tomorrow hoping its doubled.

Yeah definitely! My partner came home with some flowers for me so that cheered me up last night!
