Thanks for suggesting that I start this thread - its a real honour. Won't be leaving it yet as am only on cd24, despite getting bfps from the 3 tests I have done today (paranoid or what?!).
Lots and lots of babydust to everyone. If this pg is successful, I will have conceived in the midst of an awful cold so that should give everyone some hope. Lots and lots of hugs.....

Anopther negative OPK yesterday, but still a bit early anyway think.

MINNIE1 · 11/01/2005 11:28

cockenzie,
Did you get it from Cam?? Just seen the thread and was hoping you got it...

Bella23 · 11/01/2005 11:43

Am joining back on this thread after leaving it in November. I am afraid that on Friday I was told I am having a missed miscarriage, I was supposed to be 10 weeks but it stopped growing at 6 weeks. Very devastated obviously but am determined to get on with things. I am going back to the clinic tomorrow where I think I shall be referred for a D&C. To be honest I just want to get it all over with and move on - all this waiting around is a nightmare!
Anyway enough of all the depressing stuff.
I have been reading as much stuff as I can find and would like to start TTC staright away without waiting. Hester - did you wait a month?
Anybody have views / experience?
All help greatfully received

Sallie · 11/01/2005 11:47

I started ttc straight away after my mc in Sept (was at 6 weeks so a little earlier than yours). I do think things will happen when your body is ready so best of luck and just go with what you feel is right for you

Bella23 · 11/01/2005 11:51

Thanks for that Sallie, that is what I am inclined to think. I shall also see what the clinic says tomorrow.

cockenzie · 11/01/2005 11:56

Bella 23 so sorry about ur m/c and u seem to be a very strong willed lady. i wish you all the best for ur ttc and hope u get pg very soon!!

cockenzie · 11/01/2005 12:00

Tania2 · 11/01/2005 12:29

RudyDudy its so good to hear when a dr takes us serously. My Dr was the same after only 3 months ttc in his opionion "why wait" cause i had a history of endo also so he refered me straight away so by the time i had my lap done we had been ttc for a year. Best of luck to you.

Welcome pickledonion hope your stay isnt too long

Bella ((((hugs)))) this must be a very hard time for you did many people know you were pg or had you been strong and not told anyone? Its must be hard to now tell people that you m/c. Be good to yourself and i hope things run smoothly for you and your pg again soon.

Nothing to report here but you guys just wait until i start the ivf drugs i may be a mad woman lurking either crying or ranting uncontrolably

runtus · 11/01/2005 12:33

Hello Tania - how's Oz? I'm over your way next Friday and I have to say I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!

Bella23 · 11/01/2005 12:39

Thanks Tania. A handful of people knew but my friend phoned them and told them as couldn't face having to. My best friend is pregnant - was a couple of weeks behind me. We were both so excited to go through it together that I am finding it very hard at the moment. I love her lots and am so pleased for her but keep having a nasty green eyed monster that keeps raising its ugly head!

Tania2 · 11/01/2005 12:47

Bella my MIL said she had the same thing with a really good friend of hers they were pg at the same time but MIL m/c and 20 weeks (one of many b4 DH) her friend felt so bad that they never spoke again. Just make sure you dont loose a friend you may be pg again with her soon but if not you may need her for support later on. I know it will be hard but my MIL said she ended up more upset over loosing her best friend when she needed her most.

Runtus its bloody hot here in oz atm. 38 deg here today and tonight i am still up cause its just too hot to sleep where will you be in oz. Melbourne isnt much to go on cause a couple of days ago it was pissing down and very cold. Thats Melbourne for ya!

Bella23 · 11/01/2005 12:52

Yes agree Tania, will make sure we communicate a lot. I think I will just have to be honest and let her know how I feel. Just bloody awful though, life really is unfair sometimes! Sorry - keep having moments of wallowing!

runtus · 11/01/2005 13:01

We are staying with DP's brother in Sydney and he has arranged loads for us to do, including a couple of days in Melbourne I think!

No matter what the weather is, it can't be as crap as it is hre right now........grey/miserable/windy/wet nastiness!

Watch out Oz, here I come!

Tania2 · 11/01/2005 13:04

Been in a similar situation My sister found out she was pg with out ttc while b/f she felt so bad about falling pg while iam having to go through ivf but sadly she m/c the other day. Even though i was extreamly upset that she was pg (she is my best friend and one of the only people around me that wasnt pg and was my rock in this journey) iam more upset that she now has to go through such a heartbreaking thing. She has decided that they are not ready to have another baby and is waiting another year to ttc so now she is going to be more careful.

Tania2 · 11/01/2005 13:08

Runtus sounds great hope you love oz it really is a beautiful place. But i have nothing to compare it to. When you come to Melbourne there is so much to do wether it is hot or cold. And Melbourne Central is meant to be the shopping capital of Australia so i was told.

RudyDudy · 11/01/2005 13:16

(((Bella))) Really sorry to hear about your loss . I have no experience but think you should be kind to yourself and your body and you will know when you are ready to try again. Whether that is now or later there will always be a ttc thread here waiting for you to join

RudyDudy · 11/01/2005 13:18

Tania - I recently found out that the Crowded House song "4 Seasons in One Day" was written about Melbourne. Is that where you are? My brother just spent Christmas and New Year there and had a great time. He's now on Great Keppel Island which sounds so beautiful

runtus · 11/01/2005 13:22

Ooh shopping, been looking forward to that bit! Do you know how the prices compare to over here at all?

MINNIE1 · 11/01/2005 13:39
