Why is when we're young we're told how easy it is to get pregnant and to use protection etc but when you actually want too it's not as easy as that 😂

I was having this exact same conversation with a friend the other day! We should have had proper sex education classes! I was convinced having sex once during ovulation would result in pregnancy!x

Hi all 👋🏻 I’m 10dpo, negative tests on 8 and 9 DPO so won’t test again now.. period due Sunday. But today I’ve got an odd pinching type sensation, I think from my cervix? Or somewhere up that was anyway! Feels a bit odd. Has anyone had this before?

It's crazy! I didn't even know about fertile windows or anything until I was 25 and pregnant with my DD 😂😂 instead of scaring young girls I think there deffo needs to be more info/ proper education on it!

I had no idea on the ovulation windows. I thought it was from the end of a period all the way through to the following period😅 I still had no idea whilst I was pregnant with my DD as she was a surprise baby. I've only learnt during this TTC journey.
Ridiculous isn't it?! There should be more done in schools x

Hmm I'm not sure if I've experienced pinching. How long does it last? Do you get any spotting alongside the pinching?x

Nope no spotting.. I usually get a tiny bit of spotting between 10dpo and period so it’s so hard to know! Been googling and apparently I think I’ve had “Fanny daggers” which I’d never heard of before 🤣 it’s quietened down now but had been for a good few hours this morning.. so we’ll see! X

@1woodpecker haha yes I learnt about Fanny daggers when I was last trying.

so I caved, bought some cheapies and tested, it was obviously a bfn.
Will try again with morning wee then continue every day

@1woodpecker I've just googled what Fanny daggers are😂 Did they come back this afternoon? Fingers crossed for Sunday! Hopefully the Fanny daggers bring some positivity🤞🏼

I'll upload my daily bfn test😅 I took an OPK as yesterday Marie said my test looked quite dark. I think it's about the same as yesterday.

Just joined as not in full blown TTC but decided we want another and been tracking cycle for couple of months. Anyway AF due today and not arrived yet, been symptom spotting all week but BFN this morning! So disheartening! Didn't do first thing so keeping finger crossed AF doesn't arrive over night and hopefully do another in morning!

Know so many of you in same position so nice to hear others stories and seeing some BFPs! 😊

That does look like a dark opk! I did an opk this afternoon and it was pretty faint although I’ve drunk a lot today so I think quite diluted 🙈

I didn’t think I had any OPK’s left but I’ve just found some in my secret test obsessive drawer 😂 so I’m gonna do one next time I need to pee. No idea why, guess it’s just nice to see a line on a test 😂😂

So if you use a opk can it give you a peak reading if you’re early days into pregnancy?

I never drink enough! I'll try and drink lots this evening and see if it makes a difference to the OPK tomorrow, although things could change overnight x

@Marie1990x First peak was 10 days ago, so I'm guessing between 8-10dpo. Hard to know exactly when I ovulated as I don't temperature test.
Let me know what your OPK is saying! At this point a positive OPK is getting me through this cycle😂
I'll upload my tests again tomorrow😅

There's a theory that a positive OPK could indicate pregnancy. I've googled the hell out of it and some people have positives and others don't. I don't think it's a reliable way of knowing, but it's another thing to get my hopes up for this cycle😅

I had bad cramping start about a week ago which has been on and off but nothing today. Was nauseous the other day and worse this morning. Tender boobs, slight dizziness and general tiredness. All things I remember from early pregnancy with my first, although not this early! You just read in to everything though don't you!😂

How have you been today? How many DPO are you?

Definitely still time for your BFP to come then 😊.

My LH was faint. Have you done any more HCG’s?

Oh no I was confident that you’d have a BFP now after your spotting!

Yeah I tested this morning and BFN. I’ve lost hope now so just gonna try come up with a baby making plan for next month, but no idea what or how to encourage it. Even been googling fertility friendly foods 😂
