4 days late, loads of cramping and pelvic pressure but no AF and a BPN this morning.

My body is just messing with me now...

It's driving me mad!

I came off depo shot last May, had AF in the October, then a 97 day cycle, AF in the Jan, 33 day cycle, AF in Feb, 55 day cycle, AF in April, 36 day cycle, AF in May for just 2 days and now since then, still waiting!

I've been using the cheap ones from Sainsburys, yesterday and the day before - 'Freedom' pregnancy test strips.

I used a clear blue 6 days early last Friday, negative too! I'm feeling frustrated. I have a GP appt next wednesday for a cervical examination, although they have noted the wrong info on my record saying that I called in with heavy periods! Not true lol.

How about yourself, are you irregular since coming off implant? x

It's so frustrating, isn't it! Have you tested yet? I'm 16 days late and negative.

Yeah it can take a while for your cycles to go back to normal after depo sounds like you've been though the mill a bit 😔

I imagine it is very frustrating not knowing when you are actually late because of irregular cycles and very expensive with testing first response are usually my go to but they are not cheap so try and find other cheaper tests with pink dye as I find them more accurate.

I had my implant out in April as I was having very long heavy periods causing a 48 day cycle, wasn't planning to ttc till late this year but becuase of the heavy periods I had a scan that detected endometriosis so me and DP decided not to delay ttc anymore because of concerning difficulties ttc due to age and endo.

Although since having implant out I haven't had any heavy bleeding so that could of definitely contributed, cycles seem to be on roughly 22days now

Yes - First response are meant to be great, i've not used one in a good 13 years now (I remember getting a BFP for my DD with one of these!) - do you order yours from Amazon?

Hmm.. strange for you also. I agree too - i'm 35! I've definitely got my fingers crossed for you! It's a waiting game and patience is something I don't have much of haha x

There is 25% chance of pregnancy each month. I talked to some people and they took 1- 4 months to get their BFPs. I know that this new cycle will be exciting and full of potentials for you!

which dpo are you? There is still hope as long as AF is not here.

Yeah I had a very early BPF with my DD 12 years ago aswell.
I do get most of my tests online because they do tend to be cheaper on Amazon sometimes.

I am also 35, 36 this month tho.
Fingers crossed for you too 🥰 I am also not patient at all the waiting kills me.
I hope you either get a BFP or af soon tho so atleast you know where you are in your cycle and can start again this month

@LucyCL strangely it took 3 months tc both my DS and DD but I was a lot younger back then as my youngest is 11 now.

I'm 6 today and my left hip is aching like I've run a 10k, so hard not to read into it!

@CorneliaB not 100% sure but AF is due around the 12th! Every little thing at the minute I think I'm sure I don't normally get that before normal AF.. mind games 😂

12th or 13th, app says 13th but I think I ovulated a day earlier this cycle!
We can keep each other sane although I'm sure I'll be testing on Sunday!

@CrimsonWitch88 I'm similar to you CD5. First AF post partum so I imagine I'm going to be pretty irregular.

AF 5 days late for me, tested negative again this morning 💔

As predicted I couldn’t wait! Now to panic that I have no idea what I need to do now 🫣 for everyone still waiting for BFP, someone on here said that until AF arrives you still have a chance, and it’s so true - sending positivity to everyone xx

@Koko52 congratulations!! Where I live you self refer to the maternity services online and they send out your first midwife appointment which for me was at 9 weeks :)

Thanks all! And super helpful advice on the self referral. How long would you wait before contacting them?

My local guidance was to self refer to maternity at 6 weeks, so another 2 week wait for me 😅
