Just started having fertility tests to see if me or hubby have any problems as we have struggled to conceive number 2 and this happens!?
Is this a positive? AF isn't due until Weds/Thurs

These tests are a nightmare for false hope 😫

I still can't allow myself to believe it though haha! Will keep you posted with what the digital says later.

It's fascinating to me that everyone only seems to believe digital tests - my fertility clinic have always given me very stern instructions not to use them so as a consequence I subconsciously don't trust them at all!

@Persipan really? Wonder why they said not to use them?

For me personally I've had a few chemicals and miscarriages and I defo get line eyes nowadays as a self confessed POAS 😂
so just guess there is something in seeing the word "pregnant" that makes it feel more real if that makes sense ☺️

@scandiontheloose I totally agree with you! I've had some bad experiences with having two lines on a test but not pregnant on a digital so I just presumed they were more accurate!

Also, I think when you're desperate to believe it's true, you need a lot of proof 😆

Anyone fancy a look at this? It’s a faint line at 10dpo but it looks a bit misaligned in the test window - could it just be an evap?

I mean we've all done the squinting and trying to look at the test in a different light and angle etc etc 😂

so think the digital literally saying "pregnant" makes it just that bit more real rather than thinking it's more accurate.

@scandiontheloose yep! We've had the test in front of a torch and all sorts 😆🙈

@JumpinJellyfish I can definitely see a line but i see what you mean, it looks in the wrong place. Have you got another one you could use in the morning?

If the line came quickly and all that, the chances are good but for your own sanity maybe a take 2 might be a good shout ☺️

10DPO is still early too so if it's a faint line I wouldn't get disheartened just yet ✨

@scandiontheloose sorry to hear about your losses but it’s looking hopeful for this month! Did you not get a positive on digitals before?
My line hasn’t really progressed today but I took a pic of the digital and will put it in a card when I see him 😊 how will you tell yours?

13dpo today (period due date), does line look darker? Paranoia has now set in 🫣 attached pic is 11dpo and 13dpo on a separate post as it wouldn’t allow 2 pics.
I know HCG doubles every 2 days so was expecting it to be darker

Awww I'd say that's a BFP hun 😍
The line progression might only start looking a wee bit "darker" in a few days once the HCG levels have had more time to build up.
But you'll see it when you put the tests side by side later in the week ☺️

But I get the paranoia bit.
I'm a POAS addict after all 😂😂

The test came in a pack of two so I do have another, but going to hold out until tomorrow or the next day in the hope things are more conclusive! I hate wasting money on these things but obvs desperate to know!

Sorry to jump in on this message but what is your opinion on these tests? I never had faint lines with my first baby so panicking slightly! 😩

@GSD2024 ah congrats that’s a BFP there! Is that your first test so far? How may dpo are you?

@TTCNoTWO that is 100% positive even if out of the time frame! It wouldn’t be that dark if it was a false positive or evap line! Congratulations !! X

@CJ2021 youre definitely pregnant, congrats 🙌 it’s just most likely a lot sooner than when you tested with your child. How many dpo are you? Mine were very similar 11dpo (2 days before period due)

Looks positive to me! I do find that the position of the insert with the lines on can vary a bit but there clearly is a line.

Thank you @Persipan - it actually looks the same as the FRER lines in @CJ2021‘s tests I think.
