Just started having fertility tests to see if me or hubby have any problems as we have struggled to conceive number 2 and this happens!?
Is this a positive? AF isn't due until Weds/Thurs

These tests are a nightmare for false hope 😫

Hes back on Friday and then got my friends wedding Saturday so think I’ll tell him Friday night. It would have been 3 weeks as he went away 3 days before I ovulated.

Here is my clearblue this morning..
My pink dye test is negative but it's not an early detection one and I'm not due on until Weds/Thurs so will keep testing each day and see!

@TTCNoTWO there’s definitely a line there and with your period not due for another 2/3 days only 10mil/early detection would really get it at this stage. You wouldn’t be getting a false positive with the time frame so it’s extremely likely you are and it takes 2 days for hcg to double so by tomorrow the 25mil ones should be picking it up.
i would suggest CB early detection digital with a 3 hour hold today if you really want to know.

The pink dye one had a very faint line after so long (which I know doesn't count) but just can't believe it! We've been trying for a year, I've just had bloods done and hubby is booked in to do SA next week 🙈

How were your bloods? It just takes that one month for everything to align 😃😃
I used pre seed lube this month which I definitely think helped the sperm as we could only dtd 3/4 days before ovulation before partner went away. I also had Covid so was not feeling hopeful at all.
And yes they’re called ultra early and start flashing when it has enough urine ☺️ that’s what mine was yesterday, the box says 99% get a Positive 4 days before missed period. A normal digital I don’t think I would have at this stage.
i tested with it at 9dpo and it was negative so was feeling even more deflated. But finally 5 days after what I now know was IB I got bfp with it and I think you will too!

@TTCNoTWO just to add that my pink dye test took a while to show yesterday as well and that was the same urine as the ultra early digital.
Maybe your hubby can be relived not doing SA 🤭

Defo go for one of the early digital ones. I'm so paranoid about any line tests that I need the digital one before I believe it 😂😂

I will get some tests today after work and will retest and update you guys later on ✌🏼

I love how all three of us tested with the same CB test around the same dpo yesterday with similar lines and now testing with the same digital!
I would just suggest going for a wee, not drinking hardly anything for a few hours and then using it again but today should be 99% you’ll get a positive with that ultra early one.

@T0r11210 I haven't had results from bloods yet, I think they are waiting until all results are back but hopefully hubby won't have to have SA now!
I've ordered some digital early ones on amazon so will see what tomorrow brings!
I'm not keen on the waiting game!!

The only symptom I have is a funny taste in my mouth!

I will test tomorrow morning with FMU.

Couldn't find FRER pink dye ones, so it'll have to be another CB 🙈😅

Also today the bloating has been off the scale accompanied by heartburn and waves of nausea.

I hope it's a strong line tomorrow morning or I have nothing to blame this on 😂😂😂

For anyone looking for FRERs, they are much more difficult to find in the UK than they used to be - Amazon have them but I don't think Boots or Suoerdrug stock them anymore, so don't waste your time going to multiple branches in search of them.

Boots early pregnancy test is basically identical to a FRER, though - pink dye, sharp line, very sensitive. So if you're looking for a substitute, I recommend that.

I bought some cheap Spanish tests from.amazon that are pink dye. They first come up very faint but after 5 - 10 minutes they're strong, but yet the instructions say don't read after 5 mins?? So I'm not sure, but I've got clearblue digital coming today! Just really scared of a chemical pregnancy. This picture is after the 5 minutes.
Do you think it still counts?

'They first come up very faint' sounds to be as though the result did come up within the time frame, though? In which case that's a totally valid result. You'd expect it to get a bit darker after that, they always do. It certainly looks very clearly positive!

@scandiontheloose I could have written that myself!! The bloating is what made me test 2 days ago. I usually do before AF but this is something else. Apparently it’s the very high progesterone and estrogen in our bodies slowing down digestion. I read that it gets better about 10 weeks when progesterone gets less and placenta takes over so yay for looking pregnant before an actual bump!!

@TTCNoTWO also with your AF not due until tomorrow/Thursday that’s a great line! Mine was due today and this was my cheapy yesterday. Like you, it was faint within 3 mins and then got darker.

@TTCNoTWO YAS! I'd say that's your BFP but as we know it's not true until the digital tells us it is 😂

@T0r11210 Oh the bloat! Unreal! Like I had to unbutton the first two buttons on my skirt yesterday just sitting at my desk at work😅😂

I tested this morning and it's the same looking as the test from the other day.
No line progression but also not any fainter so we'll see. I've had a few chemicals before and think I just need to wait for the digital results😅

So think I'll give it a day before trying for the digital since they're generally not as sensitive as these 10ml ones and they're so spenny and I will go mad testing everyday 😅
