I'm 47. Should I believe this?

Just turned 47 and got this result on an easy at home test (mid morning, same result mid afternoon)

5 weeks since last period (usually fairly regular at 28 days - been a little less regular over last few months, so assumed perimenopause was starting)

Not actually ttc, but definitely not doing anything to prevent it.

So.... would you believe this result?
Or could I be getting a false result because I'm in/near perimenopause?

@Exactlab it is SO easy to just read the OP’s updates so you don’t blunder in with a hugely insensitive comment. It is literally one button to click. I hope you try a bit harder to do that in future.

My Dad was born when his Mum was 45 {but she'd had children previously}.
