Right, so I can't start this thread using anything like..."Here we go ladies!"

So, will have to come up with something completely different....

How about Congratulations Kay!

Good morning ladies sorry about BFN cals and dis I can see some pink and a very faint line...

Ladies I need some advise. On a 28 day cycle when would (on average) the last day that you could ov?

Fell asleep on the sofa last night no GOF and I am on CD18

lardylumps · 12/04/2008 10:34

no it was CD18 yesterday (day of no GOF) I am now on CD19

lardylumps · 12/04/2008 10:56

Oh no Teuch/Diege where have you gone!!!! I need thee..

Diege · 12/04/2008 12:13

Hi LL! The last day you'd ovulate on 1 28 day cycle would usually be day 14, and then the egg would survive 24 ish hours, so I wouldn't bother with GOF on a 28 day cycle after day 16 (unless you fancy it of course!!). So you should be fine . No wonder you fell asleep if you've been goffing every/other day

Cosmogirl · 12/04/2008 12:16

Hi girls,

Well Tink I have broken your record - CD 56 and still no AF getting a bit fed up now and just wish period would show up.
I broke the sex ban this morning tho First condom sex in a very long time and was not half as bad as I had remembered!!

Quick question: when (if) first AF post pill does show up, am I likely to get back to a regular cycle fairly quickly? I am assuming at the mo that my body has forgotten how to ovulate, thus explaining lack of period...

Off to catch up on the thread now

Oh no if I did ov yesterday then I have buggered it..... I doink everyday from CD7 and fall asleep on CD18. Can not believe it... OK so if I ov yesturday then I need a quicky today dont I......

Dh DH oh no he has gone out......

Diege · 12/04/2008 12:39

Oh no, is the milkman about . I do think you've pretty much covered all bases with your GOFFing. LondonLottie is right that the old af 14 days after OV is a bit of a myth, but it does hold true for many women, and if you had to guess at best time to gof on a 28 day cycle, then days 10-14 would still be a good estimate. Maybe get some ov sticks for next cycle if it hasn;t worked this time?

Diege · 12/04/2008 12:40

Oh and any EWM? That's always the ov sign for me, though don't get it every month.

lardylumps · 12/04/2008 12:45

I havent noticed any this month but I did have (shhhhhhhhh) thrush for a while so this could of masked it.

If i ov yesterday then would gof the previous day be ok, or does it need to be on the exact day you ov??

I am so crap at this. I cant believe I am a 34 year old mother of one and I do not know the basics

Cosmogirl · 12/04/2008 12:49

Phew! Think I've just about caught up!!
Geordie - sorry to hear your DP has said he wants to delay ttc. Has he given you an approx month when he feels he'll be ready? It must be frustrating but I guess you both need to be ready or he might be resentful about it....
October/November is when we are planning to start - some days it seems really close - others it feels like it's a lifetime away!

Broodybabywannabe · 12/04/2008 12:50

did i ovulate cd17?

Diege · 12/04/2008 13:13

Just off out, but just to say LL that a day or even two before ov is better apparently so that the sperm is there ready to do the job. I really think you've given it your best, so relax!!
Catch up later! [waves to BB, cosmo and tinks]

lardylumps · 12/04/2008 13:15

T~BH im so confused right now i dont think im great conversation

lardylumps · 12/04/2008 14:17

Oh BB I dont know what to say... Sorry I have forgotten have you been to GP to ask for a scan??

Cosmogirl · 12/04/2008 14:24

Hey Diege [waves back]

Broodybabywannabe · 12/04/2008 14:28

no, i spose i am probably getting self at it, i mean have only been coil less for just about two weeks, i spose the rational thing is to wait a few months, i was thinking about the supplements i take and thinking maybe i need to take more of something or less of something x

lardylumps · 12/04/2008 14:32

OK so Coil out two weeks ago... I would give it a month after the coil was removed and if no AF by then go to GP. I dont know anything about the coil but maybe there has been a rush of hormones so Af didn't arive when it normally would iyswim. BUt a month after and no AF is a worry.

Keep your chin up though BB there is no reason why you shouldn't be ov in this period so get doinking.... and thats an order...

Broodybabywannabe · 12/04/2008 14:42

lol thanks LL!! am current doinking frequently!

you know what its like tho when you want it sooo much lol x

lardylumps · 12/04/2008 14:48

I know, I really do. [[[[{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}]]]]]]

Broodybabywannabe · 12/04/2008 15:02

MoosMa · 12/04/2008 15:37

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!

Not only has DH had to drive to the distant north, but now he's had a puncture, found that the spare on the car he's borrowed is duff, he's had to buy 2 new tyres (£95) and is running so late he'll have to stay over somewhere (more ££s) and won't be back until later tomorrow. Also the lighter socket doesn't work so his sat nav has run down.

Anyone know of anywhere nice and cheap to stay just south of Manchester?

Sorry for the me post, will catch up in a bit
