Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in June 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of May to June ! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

OPKs are very negative this morning, I'll wait another few hours and do the second ones around 10:30, as well as the ClearBlue monitor, but BBT hasn't confirmed ovulation.

I guess it was a premature surge. I was ill last week and my husband is going away today until Monday, so we haven't had much opportunity this week anyway. If AF arrived nine days early again, I don't think there's much chance for us.

Anyone else's cycle thrown off for months post-MMC?

My 2nd pregnancy was a mmc. Went for my scan and found baby had stopped growing at 4 weeks. Was lucky after we left the scan I started bleeding like my body knew not to hold onto it any more. But it took about 3-4 months for my cycle to go back to normal after that. It's rubbish isn't it

BlueberryPoppy123 · 31/05/2024 08:46

Also posting because AF still hasn't arrived 😫 3 days late now. I've been having cramping for 2 weeks now thinking it's coming but nothing. Bought 2 more tests yesterday 2 more BFN's. Never wanted my period to arrive so much so I can get on with our next cycle. Feeling frustrated

KittyFantastica · 31/05/2024 10:51

Oh @BlueberryPoppy123 that's so rubbish, I'm sorry you're in limbo. Did you ovulate later than usual? I know that's pushed my AF arrival back a few days previously after I had Covid.

I'm so sorry to see you've had a MMC too. It's so incredibly harsh and cruel. Thank you for sharing though, I really appreciate it. I see so many posts about people's cycles returning quickly and conceiving straight away after miscarriages. I did after my my chemical but this time it's taking forever. It took two months just to test negative and for my cycle to come back. We are so ready to try again now and my cycle is chaos. I have my fingers crossed you get some answers too asap 🤞

imy · 31/05/2024 11:00

Morning everyone! I am just waiting for my LH surge now - on CD 14 but first cycle trying for baby number 2, and second cycle since coming off the pill so not quite sure what to expect with my cycles yet. I am hoping I'll ovulate over the next few days. I'm then off on holiday for a week Thurs-Thurs so I don't think there could be a better TWW distraction! I'm so sorry to read of the MMCs in this post. Fingers crossed for everyone for this month.

Hello ladies!

looks like I’ll be jumping over from May 🤪

I had a chemical end of April/start of May… and I’m still in that cycle (CD32).

My LH did a surge 2 days ago (initially though I missed my surge CD20 because I tested with FMU and not again until 7pm) but now I think I’m ovulating late.

although they are still high so not sure what’s going on really. My cycles are typically 30-32 days but doesn’t seem like AF is showing up. Also did an Asda pregnancy test the other day.. also negative!

But going to try an ultra early digital tomorrow with FMU but honestly don’t think I’m pregnant.

just a bit fed up now 😫 think the miscarriage has messed me up!

imy · 31/05/2024 12:53

Hi @GreenPickle , so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Do you think the LH strips could be picking up HCG now? I wouldn't be surprised given they've remained so high?

meggie1tr · 31/05/2024 12:59

AF has just arrived... a week late.

Hoping it's just my body sorting itself out as I have just come off the pill rather than my PCOS playing up.

Marie1990x · 31/05/2024 13:02

Hi ladies, okay if I join 😊?

@GreenPickle Sorry to read about your chemical 🤍. I’m in a similar position to you with the OPK confusion.

I’ve developed pretty long cycles and don’t usually ovulate until around CD25! I got excited when my opk was dark at CD16, got my peak but now it’s rising again on CD20 (tbf it never went much lighter). I had my usual ovulation symptoms around that time too.

We’ve been ttc for around a year, it’s getting a bit much now

GreenPickle · 31/05/2024 13:40

@imy I'm not sure - i dont think so! i did take 2 tests on CD30 when it peaked initially. I was about 9dpo then and neither were positive (albeit, it wasnt with FMU but i still don't think I'm pregnant!

I did order 2 ultra early advanced digitals to try some point over the weekend but it might just be a case of late ovulation and my body sorting itself out!

GreenPickle · 31/05/2024 13:43

@Marie1990x I know that LH does fluctuate throughout cycles so maybe yours will go down again this afternoon? Unless your body is gearing up to try and ovulate again because it didn't work the first time!

I did read that you should stop testing after the first surge but easier said than done - I would just keep doing the deed to cover all basis just in case!

Annoying that it's a waiting game and only time will be able to tell as we just want to know but keep me updated with your tests! xxx

Marie1990x · 31/05/2024 14:27

@GreenPickle I’ve read the same about stopping testing after peak, but I can’t help myself 😂. In fact I’ve just done another 🤦🏻‍♀️, it’s slightly lighter than the last, Premom says it’s 0.4 so hopefully going in the right direction (if I have ovulated when I got my peak).

You’re so patient to wait until tomorrow to do your early test! Hoping it’s bfp for you and you’re not in limbo anymore! x

GreenPickle · 31/05/2024 14:41

@Marie1990x haha i did another LH test and it's higher...1.04 😂

I did 2 tests in the week and both negative so i'm 99% sure im not pregnant but just wanted to cover all basis. would be a miracle if i was at this point!

i can only keep testing and see what happens! i have a cheap asda test that i'll use tomorrow as well just to get rid of it but not sure it's very sensitive!

Marie1990x · 31/05/2024 15:12

@GreenPickle hahaha a girl after my own heart with the testing 🤣. What the heck is happening with these tests and us!
At this stage I’m testing every time I need to pee! It’s a good job they’re just cheapies.

I’m not sure what the Asda ones are like, I never used them. I like their ovulation sticks though so hopefully they’re as good!

GreenPickle · 31/05/2024 15:45

@Marie1990x haha my digital ovulations tests are staying firmly in their drawer! Will do another test before bed hahaha

I would rather my period come at this point because then at least I have an answer!

the Asda tests are 25miu in terms of sensitivity whereas the clearblue early (red light) is 10 I believe? It caught my BFP last cycle at 12dpo! But yeah, I’m like 99% sure it won’t be positive but we’ll see!

im getting married within the next week so will bring some tests with me when I go away afterwards and hopefully get my BFP then! Did not think TTC would be this mentally draining, wish I was that naive now 😂😂

looks like we are on a similarish DPO (I think I’m 1 if I go my peak 2 days ago)! Hopefully we get bfps as the same time ❤️

what cycle is this for you? Xx

Marie1990x · 31/05/2024 16:50

@GreenPickle yeah definitely feel that about wanting AF to come.

Oh wow congratulations!!!! That’s definitely something to keep you occupied during the wait 😂. So exciting!

I’ve lost count on the cycles 😣 it’s been around a year, a bit longer. How about you? X

GreenPickle · 31/05/2024 18:42

@Marie1990x thank you! Will deffo take my mind off things for the next week or so… then back to testing 😂

this is my second cycle, with the first ending in a CP! Also my first child so don’t really know what to expect on this journey! Already fed up 😂😂 so many things to think about and we are mostly not really in control of what happens!

Marie1990x · 31/05/2024 19:24

@GreenPickle aww I hope you have the best day! Take it all in and enjoy every moment 🥰.

Oooo that’s great you caught on first try, albeit chemical, but at least you know it’s very possible and hopefully catch on to a healthy bean very soon. It is the most daunting, emotionally exhausting experience ttc 😂.

We got pregnant with DD the first month of using OPK’s, but I’m starting to think she’s my miracle child and won’t happen again lol.

I put in another thread too, but I looked back on my chart when I got pregnant before and I had 3 days of high OPK’s after my peak then so I’ve regained a bit of faith

Hi Ladies,

Can I join in on this thread?
29 and our first month of TTC for baby #1. Currently in my TWW. My 30th is next week & promised myself to only test afterwards.

Is anyone on here using Natural Cycles to track/can share their experience with how accurate it is? I’ve been tracking BBT & using ovulation tests for the last few months to become more familiar with my cycle.

any other apps / tracking to recommend?
x

Welcome @ScarlettSloth ! I am also cycle one although TTC baby number two for me 😊 I use LH strips and then the apps I use are Flo and Premom (which reads and stores my LH strip results). I don't really need Flo but like to use it to track. I think the apps are accurate if you have the same cycle every month but I rely on the LH strips more than any apps.

Marie1990x · 01/06/2024 15:58

@GreenPickle how are you getting on?

I’m getting close to peak again today 😣😣😣

CoolSummer89 · 01/06/2024 19:10

Hi all, didn’t see there was a June thread, thanks for setting it up @RW269.

i am also in TWW, not even sure what DPO as I’m trying not to think about it. Not holding out too much hope for this month as we were staying with DH’s parents on my peak fertile days 😅

LucyCL · 01/06/2024 19:22

Is anyone using Mira to monitor the menstrual cycle ?
I started to use it on 2po. Today is 4 dpo. If it is possible, I’d be interested in seeing people’s mira charts to compare mine.

Another day... Another bfn 😫 still no period but the cramps continue... I keep willing a 2nd line to appear but I think I'm just having a really long cycle. Like @GreenPickle I just want my period to arrive at this point. So I can get on with this months cycle. I don't know how the ladies who've been trying for so long do it.

Hi all, took a short break from this when AF arrived a few weeks ago as its now month 5 ttc baby #1. I'm now 4dpo and going on holidays Tuesday so I'm not going to test unless I've a missed period. Really hoping to see a BFP soon 🙏 hope everyone in the TTW is doing OK.

I am also 4 dpo, still test LH and my other hormone levels every day. I am not going to look for any potential matching symptoms, right now I just want to understand my body a bit better. I’d also be happy if I get a BFP. Baby dust to you!
