Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in June 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of May to June ! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

@RaineyNina @Marshmallow99 yea it’s bonkers how much it varies from care board to care board. Someone shared their care board’s guide the other day and they wouldn’t fund treatment for women over 35!

luckily I live in London where people tend to start families later so my care board funds up to 42 (but you get less funding if you’re over 40)

NICE (National NHS) guidelines however are try for a year and then you get tests and then if everything is coming back normal then you try for another year and then if still nothing then you should be offered assisted fertility treatments. If the women is 36 or over then these timescales are halved. But each care board can have their own policy.

i am 35 and have been trying for 6 months but we suspect that my DH might have low sperm count due to a hernia he was born with. So he had been referred for tests, we have to wait 4 months but that’s fine. At least we have got the ball rolling. Trying not to get too frustrated and just enjoy the good bits of it.

I think I may have ovulated early! Surprised as I usually don't ovulate to around cycle day 18, in fact last cycle was day 20! What do you guys think? Will see how the next few days go and see if my BBT stays raised, great if I have as hubby leaves for work tomorrow!

I use the timer on the premom app but they do seem to stay pink for long. I got my tests just cheap on Amazon so did wonder if that was why I noticed everyone else's are much clearer. Waited 15 mins+ for them to stop being pink with one (took pic of it after 10) but thought you couldn't read them after longer than that x

@RaineyNina perhaps! Fingers crossed for you that you have. My temps have been going haywire with the heat at the moment.

@BlueberryPoppy123 yea I would leave them a little longer. Not too long but enough time that the dye clears up.

Just curious what peoples opinions are with these opk's.

I don't think it looks like I've ovulated and my period is due in 5 days so not sure if I've done it wrong or if my PCOS I preventing ovulation :(

@meggie1tr Are they as dark as they got this cycle? Or just the end of it? I have suspected PCOS and mine always seem to have a faint line like that, but seem to catch the peak earlier.

Am I about to peak soon after my high opk today at CD14?? I have never ever ever ever got a high opk this early, hoping the supplements are working, looks like they are or it’s just a huge coincidence

Guys I think my temperature is dropping and Natural Cycles has predicted my period will start tomorrow. Feeling so gutted, we’ve been trying so hard since May 2023 and have just had a miscarriage a couple of months ago.

I didn't even get close to a positive on my opks this cycle and I've been freaking out. CD30 today with period due Wednesday and look how high today's tests are! I can only assume very late ovulation. I don't have pcos though, at least that I know of, it seems to be a random one off for me.

@Nataliebella I can definitely see a line on the middle test. Did you test again?

Any cm experts here? I don’t usually get much cm around “ovulation” (another reason I don’t think I actually ovulate), but I’ve got my peak today on CD15 which is amazing for me (usually CD25 on average) with a tonne of ewcm so I’m hopeful to actually ovulate this month. Do you get this CM in the build up or the day of O?

We didn’t dtd last night and scared it’s too late now.

Regretting my chilled, laid back approach this month since I’m nervous that we may have missed our chance 😂 #typcial

Sorry for the lack of updates, I took a little break as my period arrived on Friday 🥲. So onto Cycle 6 of trying!! I feel like I need to be a bit more proactive and do something different this month 💪. I'm due to ovulate around the 6th July. I'm going to order Proceive max and give it a try (anyone here tired it) also going to go and see if I can get some bloods done at my GP,

@Marie1990x i tend to get a little EWCM about 5 days before my ovulation day id say and then it gets more and more each day until that day then disappears.

I am 2 days late for my period, I’ve been feeling so emotional these last few days. I have tested and it’s BFN so not looking likely I’m pregnant this month, just a late period taunting me! X

to coincide with what’s happened the last few days for me. Has been a couple of days and ramped up
today. Just had a stronger peak now so will dtd the next few days and hope for the best.

Arghh that’s so annoying that af is late but bfn’s. Did you definitely ovulate the day you thought?

@Marie1990x i do think I ovulated later this cycle, flo predicted the 9th but I only got a flashing smiley on my clear blue test that day so it wasn’t peak.

I went away on the 9th so i was away from home for that week, we only dtd leading up to the 9th. My cycles are usually 29 days most months- do you think ovulating later would make my cycle length longer? X

@Marshmallow99 yeah definitely. I think it’s 14 days after ovulation that AF would be due? That always seems to tie in with my peaks anyway. I have irregular cycles and it’s usually bang on 2 weeks after predicted ovulation on the apps after a peak that af shows her ugly head

So this morning I had lots of watery CM which hasn’t happened before at this stage in my cycle, still no signs of my period but all tests BFN 🤔

Hi all, congratulations to everyone who had their BFP this month, so happy for you all.
Feeling really deflated today, just having a bad day I suppose!
AF due today but not here yet, all tests are BFNs and I just know this month I'm out.
It's something we want so much and I think each month the disappointment grows. Normally very positive but I suppose I'm just feeling really sad as thought this may be the month (as I do every month!)

Evening all!

im currently 8 days overdue AF, got cramping today, had nausea last week for 2 days. Today, I have been checking as I felt like AF came, but just creamy discharge.

DTD unprotected for the first proper time 9/10 days after ‘ovulation’ - last month, my AF lasted just 2 days, was light and dark brown blood.

any advice please?

this would be my 3rd pregnancy.

my cycles have been a joke since coming off depo last May.

cycles have been 98 days, 33, 55, 32 and about to go into 37.

@CSmith1 I think it's really normal to feel the way you're feeling after a disappointing end to a cycle. Just allow yourself your feelings and then baby dust for you for July x

@Lou0811 that sounds so frustrating. I had a long cycle last month but nowhere 98 and 55 days. I remember my cycles were awful after coming off the depo. Have you spoken to the Drs about the messed up cycles?

It’s such a pain! I was like clockwork prior to depo!

I have, but they shrug it off! I’ve had bloods done also and all is normal!

@Lou0811 have you been doing opks to track when you are ovulating?

I have, but they are continuously a dark line… I just can’t understand it. It’s driving me insane x
