Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in June 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of May to June ! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

Yes keep us posted on here, it really helps to have this to put the thoughts out. My partner is very supportive, although he has a very "it-will-happen-when-it-happens" approach to the whole thing. I therefore don't want to burden him with all the symptom spotting and testing since I feel a bit ashamed of the tricks my mind is playing on me, so writing here definitely helps!

Totally get that- my husband is the same but I am just not that chilled 😂 I got a flashing smiley face today on a clear blue OPK so moving in the right direction I think… how are you feeling? Did you say you were in the TTW hope it’s going ok.

So nice to talk to someone at the same stage! Haha! I completely relate. One of my friends asked to stay over this week and I was like errrmmm, that's ovulation day 😂 Hope you enjoy your weekend away x

Haha love this! Back to work today 🙄 have you entered the TWW yet? Think I’m still a few days away from ovulation so I must just ovulate later in the month as CD17 today!

I’m 11dpo and BFN this morning. Not surprised as I’ve been crampy for the last couple of days.

What tests are people using? Google tells me FRER, but the only place I can seen them is Superdrug and they’ve been out of stock for a while?

I don’t get on with FRER! Kept giving me negatives last cycle even though I was pregnant (think it was something to do with the biotin I was taking in the end!).

I ended up using the clearblue ultra early digital with the light on top! They can be quite temperamental if you don’t handle them properly after dipping but found that they work well (and 10miu!)

Aw sorry to hear that, you still have time though. I'm an idiot and tested today at 8DPO and of course it's a BFN, I'm counting myself out this month and refuse to take anymore tests. I'll wait for AF to arrive next Monday 😡.

@SLLR I am 7dpo today too! How long do you think you’ll break before testing?! I apparently have no willpower and tested today with an easy@home, BFN obviously. This is cycle #4 of TTC after a MC in February.

I tried some acupuncture this cycle and have a few subtle signs but really could be something or nothing as still so early! The second week of the TWW really drags! X

Aw we are both 8DPO then 🤩. I caved and tested today with an easy@home test as well and of course it was a BFN. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage ❤️. Are you just going to hold off testing to see if AF comes? Yeah I heard great things about acupuncture. Keep me updated on how you get on x

@BlueberryMacaron I have been using MomMed for LH and HCG tests for years, I buy mine from their Amazon store and always the big pack, 60 ovulation tests and 20 pregnancy ones, to get the most value.
They have worked well for me and picked up my early positive too back in April too.

To confirm the result I also used clear blue ultra early as a second check.

ninaballerina12 · 17/06/2024 13:52

Thanks for your message @LeleMR DPO buddies 🤩 this is my first post on these forums, it’s so nice to speak to others in the same boat. I haven’t told my closest friends as I don’t like the feeling of expectation each month!

This is cycle #4 of TTC. My DS1 and MC were unplanned and so I very naively thought it would happen straight away.

I think I will try to hold off testing for a few more days at least, how about you? I definitely won’t fork out on the FRERs until a missed AF! Fingers crossed for you and keep me posted too!

Thanks for asking, I am still in the TWW, AF was due this weekend and it's still not here but tested BFN so far. It's technically my day 28 and my cycles are 26 on average but have been even 29 once recently. I have not really any other symptoms, nor pregnancy symptoms nor period symptoms. This is my first cycle taking Maca root so who knows if it's just messed up the cycle... Sigh! I'll probably wait a couple of days before re-testing, I don't want to see another BFN.

Im out, back to CD1 again. Good luck everyone still waiting to test. Sending baby dust ✨

Damn it! I hope you are feeling well, take care and focus on July! Baby dust to you too 💕🤞

@Marinaautumn thank you hun and good luck to you ✨💕

Marinaautumn · 18/06/2024 11:57

I'm out as well. Feeling miserable about it since my partner wanted to "reassess" after this month to see if we keep trying or we pause to travel (after 8 months of unsuccessfuly ttc!). I'm gutted. I don't want to reassess I just want to ttc until we get a sticky BFP! Rant over. Thanks ladies good luck to the ones who are still on.
PS: at least im glad that the Maca root didn't mess up my cycle. :)

RRAEE · 18/06/2024 13:03

@Marinaautumn sorry to hear that you are out aswell, it sucks doesn't it. 😪

ClassicQuill · 18/06/2024 17:14

I am quite confused today.

I'm 34, and TTC #1. This is my first cycle.

I've been temping and taking an OPK test every day since I got the bits of kit I needed (from CD21-ish). I know that's quite late to start logging, but I didn't know about any of this before we started TTC this month. I figured I could just start logging the data so I get some practice and history, in order to get a better understanding of what's happening with my body for future months.

I have PCOS, and my last 5 cycles or so have been 33-37 days long.

The apps all predicted I would ovulate between CD21 and CD24. I'm CD28 today, and I've just had the strongest LH test result I've had so far, and my BBT has gone up today a bit too. Could that mean AF (which I wouldn't expect for another week usually), or a sign I might ovulate very late?

So I'm currently 7 DPO (used opks to track ovulation) and this is cycle 6 for us, been trying to since January 😒. I'm feeling no symptoms really. I'm trying so hard not to have a negative mindset, but it's hard because I've been so used to seeing negative tests the last 6 month's.
I thought I had run out of pregnancy tests, so I thought oh good, I'll just wait for AF instead of wasting tests. But I found 3 cheapies in the back of my wardrobe 🤣 now I'm just trying to hold off as long as possible to test. Anyone else around 7dpo?

I am around the same time as you, I am either 7DO or 8DPO depending on when I exactly ovulated, I will be conservative and stick with 7DPO mentally to keep from testing early. I am actually telling myself that I won't test unless my period is a few days late, I don't want the mental up and downs of getting a BFN and then convincing myself its because I tested too early.

How are you feeling? I had a few cramps/twinges last night and breast tenderness but I have had that before on this journey so not reading too much into it.

Marie1990x · 18/06/2024 19:39

Sorry to see AF has arrived for a few people 😣 hope you’re all ok and hoping for a BFP for you all next cycle!

I’ve been trying to avoid forums to not obsess so haven’t caught up people.
But here I am already obsessing 😂. I’m only CD8 and had a strong opk just now 🤔. Not positive but getting there. I’m not sure if it’s these supplements I’m taking. So bizarre and will keep testing

Marshmallow99 · 18/06/2024 20:24

@priscillamon i am in a similar situation, we have been ttc for over a year now. All of my friends have conceived very quickly.

we have started fertility testing on the NHS and so far all seems fine, we are being referred to a fertility clinic for more testing and then will see what our options are.

i’m 33 and my partner is 36, we are trying for our first.

fingers crossed we get our BFPs soon 🫶🏽

this month I started using the fertilily cup but I was away for my peak ovulation so not holding much hope for this month. We dtd days leading up to it so praying some spermies hung in there until my peak day 😅

@Marie1990x I have also been trying to stay off and forget about the ttc life but I am here 😂

@Marinaautumn glad to hear maca didn't mess up your cycle as I've started that this month. Currently cd8, ovulation due next week and will stop taking it after O day.

Hi, similar situation too! I'm 33and so is my partner and we've been ttc for 8 cycles now. I've done all the blood tests which came fine, and he's about to do sperm test. I have a pelvic ultrasound next Tuesday. Did you do Hycosy test? I really want to do it since I heard that some people get pregnant soon after hycosy test because it unblocks the tubes through testing. Happened to my friend recently so I really want to get it too. Although I don't want to get even more frustrated if it doesn't happen after that! I'm trying Maca root, I'll report on how it goes @MaryMax i was taking it the whole cycle through but might stop after ovulation next cycle.

Hello sorry to hear about your ttc struggles. Just wondering how you went about getting the tests via nhs? I'm 36 and partner is 39, am I right in saying you have to have been ttc for a year before the nhs will carry out tests/bloodwork?

Lou0811 · 18/06/2024 23:28

Can I join in?

i’m 35 yo

I have a 12.5 DD and a 7 DS

TTC as of 16/06….

AF is due tomorrow - my cycles have been messed up since coming off depo last May.

1st AF after coming off depo was October 23, then 97 day cycle, then a 33 day, then 55 day, then 36 days (only 2 days of a very faint AF) and now I’m due any time from tomorrow, according to the app!

Marshmallow99 · 19/06/2024 07:41

@Moomoo20 thank you, it’s tough going through the rollercoaster of emotions each month. So if you are under 35 it’s a year but if you are over 35 you are able to get testing after 6 months of ttc.

@Marinaautumn i have had the pelvic and transvaginal scan which came back fine, I think the next step is Hycosy which will be done at the fertility clinic I am being referred to. I had to have a smear and swab test too as they said they need that before accepting my referral, it’s a long process isn’t it, just hoping everything works out. 🫶🏽✨

Yes, like @Marshmallow99 said, if you're over 35 it's 6 months+. I am under 35, and after like 2 months ttc I did the Hertility blod test (online, private) and since the prolactin came out high, I told my gp and they agreed to retest. After a few more months (6 of 7, i can't remember) I wanted to do the "day 21" tests and even though we hadn't been ttc over 1 year yet, they agreed to keep testing since I had ready kickstarted it with the prolactin etc. It all came out fine so now they've referred me to scans. I hope this helps.

Marshmallow99 · 19/06/2024 08:47

@Marinaautumn i also did a Hertility test and was prolactin was high but on my nhs tests my prolactin was in range. Did you find this too? X
