Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in June 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of May to June ! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

@CoolSummer89 thanks for the reply! Yes my cycles are regular usually 25 or 26 days so I ovulate on cycle day 13 or 14 and always have 12 day luteal phase. I just thought it would have happened for us by now. Is this your first baby ttc? Xx

Sorry to hear about your difficult journey. The ovulation test strips are tricky sometimes. Do you keep an eye on your cm? That helps me when the strips are confusing. Fingers crossed for you this month 🤞

Thank you. I do keep an eye on my CM and had been thinking for a couple of days that it was indicating ovulation approaching. I tested three times today and finally got a peak on my test trips, very happy that they finally correspond with the CB digital. Hoping I can see a decrease tomorrow in the test so that I know the peak is over and that I am entering the TWW.

Hi all, for anyone that’s had an early MC (I was about 6/7 weeks I think) did you treat the first day of bleeding as CD1?

I’ve been using ovulation strips this month and logging on pre mom and the app has identified my peak (I’m sure it’s not though, the test strip wasn’t darker than Control Strip). Not sure whether to just write this month off and wait for next period.

Feeling a bit deflated, read a few positive stories about people getting pregnant within two or three weeks of a MC and really hoped that would be me. MC was on 27th May so still early days I guess.

Glad to see so many BFPs!!! Congratulations to you all

I am sorry for your loss! I had a CP last month and I counted the first day of bleeding as CD1 and my LH level kept fluctuating a lot. Finally on CD22, I ovulated. Today is CD2 of the second cycle after CP. I do believe you will ovulate late and please keep testing! Also I hope your cycle returns back to normal soon!

rlar · 11/06/2024 09:10

Thank you @LucyCL that’s really reassuring to hear. And sorry to hear about your CP too.

Will carry on cracking on with the strips for the rest of this cycle - to be honest I find it mildly addictive testing for ovulation!

Yes, I was desperate to know when I was going to ovulate so I bought a lot of things which could help me to predict such as CB fertility monitor, Mira etc... So I totally understand how you are feeling. 😅

Heya. I had a MMC at 9 weeks on 15th April, I wanted to try and conceive straight away but ended up having one cycle between then and my next period, I have just found out I’m pregnant again. I found that testing was really hard during that cycle because whenever I tested it was showing peak and I think it was because of the HCG left in my system. I know it’s tempting to try straight away but maybe give it one cycle and then start again from the day of your first period

Marie1990x · 11/06/2024 14:20

AF has just arrived, back to CD1!
In a way I’m glad she’s turned up too soon and had a normal length cycle, hoping it continues!

Also (just put this on another thread too so apologies for duplicating), I’m listening to a podcast and it’s sooo interesting, definitely recommend x

Will listen to the podcast! x

Irish812 · 11/06/2024 14:46

@Marie1990x @LucyCL another cycle buddy here AF arrived today on time as always! Onto cycle #6 now. Thanks for podcast recommendation, will give it a listen.

Marie1990x · 11/06/2024 17:15

@LucyCL @Irish812 sucks that we’ve all got AF but at least we’re in this together and hopefully similar cycles!

Nice to have had a 30 day cycle and not a 40+ 🙌🏼

I’m joining the cycle buddies train too. Have some v light pink discharge today which is unusual and AF is due on Thursday so I think that means I’m out for June…

Holls1983 · 11/06/2024 20:09

Can I join please?

Im currently 7DPO and niggling pains and my boobs are sooooooo sore but I’ve seen so many negative tests now that I won’t believe it. AF is due next week Monday/Tuesday.

A 30 day cycle is a good cycle!! Baby dust everywhere in June and July!

Im in cycle 2 CD 6. Ive started doing bbt in the morning. So was told to do before getting out of bed. Is that right the first 2 days I took my temp in the bathroom when I got up should I discard those 2 temps? Thanks

That is correct, you should discard those 2 temps.

Irish812 · 11/06/2024 21:11

Has anyone here had a baby previously and took 6+ months to conceive? TTC first baby (age 28) and period is regular and ovulation is confirmed with bbt and opks. so I've no signs of concern apart from the obvious. Just need some reassurance that it can take time. I've had a 21 day blood test done too on cycle #4 that confirmed ovulation. I'm just very impatient.

LeleMR · 11/06/2024 21:25

@Irish812 I just spoke to a colleague of mine today at work about this and he said it took him&his wife (33 at the time) 6 months for their first. Friends of mine took almost a year for their first, others 3 months, so I think it really is subjective :)

RRAEE · 11/06/2024 21:31

@Irish812 I'm 31 TTC no 1 im on cycle 6 or 7 of trying properly but haven't prevented in a year and took vitamins tried to be as healthy as possible and im yet to have any signs of a bfp

Irish812 · 11/06/2024 21:41

@LeleMR thanks for the reply! Good to hear as most of my friends took maximum 4 months so I'm finding it hard, now cd1 of 6th month.
@RRAEE I recognise you from previous threads, we're in the same boat! Hopefully the odds were just against us and we'll conceive in the VERY near future. I'm off the pill since Sept but only actively ttc 6 months. Myself and hubby both taking pregnacare conception vitamins, using conceive+ lube and used the ferti lily cup last 2 cycles. Not sure what else we can try!

GlitteringCat · 11/06/2024 21:58

First month TTC on CD18 and in the 2 week wait. Know it’s pretty unlikely to have happened in month 1 but definitely get ‘what if’ thoughts. I’ve had weight loss surgery and lost 12 stone to help my fertility so it’s already feeling like a long journey just to get here.

BlueberryPoppy123 · 11/06/2024 22:00

I'm so confused just gone to the loo and I'm bleeding again... Cd6 stopped bleeding CD 3 just spotting for CD 4 barely anything and then like a whole fresh AF now do I go back to CD1?

I am 34 and started ttc last October for baby No.1. I was not tracking my ovulation seriously until this Jan. No success for the first 4 months.

So I started tracking properly from the end of Jan, got pregnant this Feb then MC this March. Waited for the period then tried ttc in April and got pregnant at the beginning of May followed by CP.
Here I am starting a new cycle in June, hoping to conceive in July. Will be 35 this Nov.
I am taking proceive vitamins, Vital DHA, vitamin E, Black Maca complex, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Vitamin D3, Femceive, Psyllium Husk Capsules , N-Acetyl Cysteine and vitamin D oral spray. I also use conceive+ lube.

RRAEE · 11/06/2024 22:05

@Irish812 same i hope so too. Im in the TWW but feel like AF is going to show early.
I came of the pill last may. So it's been well over a year now. I think the only thing we havent tried is the lube, the cup thing isnt for me. But hoping the BFPs come soon 🤞🏻
