@CadoAvo glad to hear you've had a nice break, wishing you all the luck for your journey!

@Ella31 Sending you lots of luck for today, hopefully goes super well for you 🤞🏻

I hope everyone is okay, I'm somewhat nervous and apprehensive, got a faint positive yesterday at 16dpo, and today a little darker at what should be 17dpo. I'm concerned it could be ectopic, as line isn't progressing quick and BBt is dropping. I wish it was easier than this.

I had similar results around the same times with my first! Try not to think too much into it and keep testing as days go by. If you can't switch it off, speak to your local EPU, they'll be more than happy to assist. Wishing you the best! ✨

Have you tried a proper test? I never trust those cheapies. I bet the clearblues will be clearer

Thank you, yes I might get a GP appointment tomorrow, as I don't think it's chemical, but with the BBt drop, I'm not being too optimistic, fingers crossed 🙏

I hope your scan went well!

No, I've only used those ones, thanks, I might get one of those after work, just with my BBt being low, and the slow progression of strips, don't feel optimistic. I can only see were it goes over the next few days I suppose.

RememberZen · 27/06/2024 20:01

Not looking good for 17dpo, feel gutted to be honest.

For what it's worth, I likely conceived #1 Christmas of 2021, and I've just looked back to find a picture of the tests I took with him (pretty sure this was even after a digital confirmed) and this was taken 22/01/2022. Try not to worry too much about it, although I know that's much easier said than done.

I panicked a little over line progression with my current pregnancy and a lot of people told me not to read too much into it as it doesn't necessarily mean anything negative if it's not progressing as I think it should. Really keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏻

Thanks so much, just feeling crappy right now, I'm sure it looked darker yesterday. I'm going to take one last one in the morning and call it at that, if it's lighter, I'll assume AF is on her way, if it's the same, I think I'll go see me GP and get bloods done asap. I really appreciate your response, means a lot 🙏

Ncl31 · 27/06/2024 20:51

@RememberZen fingers crossed everything continues to progress for you.

i said I wasn’t going to do OPKs this cycle but DH has been away this week so I’ve ended up doing them to see if I could still be within a chance. He’s home tomorrow morning and I haven’t seen my peak yet so I’m hoping we’re still going to be good to go.
we go on holiday on Saturday and my predicted ovulation is Sunday/monday.
im not taking any OPKs away with me so not to obsess on holiday.

Ella31 · 27/06/2024 23:55

@RememberZen I think it's so early and tests are so misleading. Try to pit them away and see can you get a hcg blood draw. It's the only thing that's accurate

Completely understandable, but I will say that with this pregnancy, some days I didn't notice any progression at all and some days it did seem lighter, but it turned out fine. Hopefully it's just due to it still being early. It could also be down to the times you tested? Hope you have a better outcome today 🤞🏻

Hello everyone I've been hiding in the background for a while, I didn't want to get stuck spiralling on mumsnet like I did with my MC pregnancy but here I am

We've been trying for baby #2 for nearly a year with a miscarriage at 9 weeks back in easter and suspected molar pregnancy (for the second time) but thankfully have been cleared of that now so ready to start again.

I'm only CD 6 at the moment and have had 2 periods since miscarriage... and will start using ovulation strips soon. I become obsessive over the strips I really really thought I was pregnant last month i had such a good peak DTD loadssss...I was convinced but then AF showed right on time.....

Such a weird headspace for anyone to be in desperately wanting/wondering/hoping then worrying just really sending love and positive vibes to everyone in this group!!! Xxx

Libbynznz · 29/06/2024 03:01

Where is everyone in their cycle? App says 7dpo but think I ovulated cd18 and just missed my window 😅

I'm cycle day 14. I'm going to dtd every other day this month am I mad? I've done crazy days in a row and had no luck. I was at my obestrician for the boys pm review yesterday and he told me grief over my sons is preventing me getting pregnant. He said to drop the opks and just do it every other day. I think I'm going to give it a go. Hate relinquishing control though.

7dpo. Are you going to test soon?

I hope everyone is well! Ended up in EPU today, trying to just get everything checked, lines not progressing and BBt dropping still as of today, was so paranoid it was ectopic. My blood work surprisingly came back good! Both Hcg and progesterone, I feel such a relief. Going for scan on Wednesday morning, said they just want to confirm everything looks good then.
Thanks for everyones support, I really want this one to stick 🙏

Completely get what you mean about letting go of control, but I think it's definitely worth a go! I think every other day is definitely enough to get the job done. Wishing you lots and lots of luck!
