Regarding an-ovulation, can you get positive ovulation tests still? Or is this just a stupid question?

Last month, I don't remember having lots of ewcm at any point in my cycle, but today on cd10, I've got so much. My ovulation test is negative (I do the clear blue digital) and i recorded it on Premom and it's low 0.06.

Yes you can, a positive opk only suggests that your body is trying to ovulate. The only way to know for sure is to have bloods done. BBT will rise too if you have successfully ovulated

I've just started monitoring BBT, I usually only rely on OPK's. I'm not sure I'm getting the hang of it, it didn't show that I ovulated this month, OPK's were positive and I had the usual discharge that I normally would when ovulation occurs. I've just started taking BBT at a more regular time, I'm concerned I didn't ovulate now, or do you think it's just me getting used to doing it? I'm currently 2DPO and I'm continuing to measure BBT, I know it's meant to go up if conception occurs, so now I'm feeling disheartened already that it's not. Is it good to rely on this for early confirmation of BFP? Thanks for any help!

@narwhalsarereal what day do you normally ovulate? I noticed this cycle I only got it 5 days before I ovulated and that was it.

Cd14 or 15 have been my ovulation days over the past few months I've been tracking

I don't track temp but might start if this cycle isn't successful

I try to only use it to confirm ovulation. Once it’s confirmed I try to ignore it and not obsess over it, it’s so hard though.

I use ovusense to confirm ovulation, its pricey but it's worth it.

@narwhalsarereal I'm doing ok thanks, I'm hoping I ovulated but I don't have a clue as I don't track temps. I'm 2dpo so trying to hold off until a week on Saturday.

DP not around tonight thanks to work so no chance to do the deed till tomorrow night when he gets home 🤦🏼‍♀️

Yesterday was low, no flashing smiley just the blank circle & todays it's ramped up to a static smiley 🤦🏼‍♀️

I'm good. Cycle Day 5. Started taking Coq 10 this cycle. Heard it can bring ovulation forward. How are you ?

@narwhalsarereal I'm okay thanks, god damn ovulation timing, I'm tired of checking to be honest! I'm currently 7dpo and I'm not even going to test this time, just going to wait until AF most likely arrives. I keep getting twinges in the middle of my belly, I'm not going to overthink it though, probably just lost ovulation stuffs. You're still in with a shot, keep trying!

in 7 days when due on Flo app, it’s usually spot on to the day with this app. Or will it be late as I only ovulated 2 days ago so theoretically be due in 12 days according to this. So who knows. Hopefully it won’t come at all haha

you doing ok? You’re deffo in with a chance still of you DTD tomorrow. A static smiley just indicates that ovulation will happen in the next day or so so deffo be fine tomorrow night.

Already dreading the TWW as I'm currently off work after my operation so nothing to take my mind off it this time.

I'm hoping that tomorrow night will work out ok, just getting so tired of trying. I'm 37 soon and it feels like times just running away from me.

@narwhalsarereal AF was due today. Still no sign but had a negative test yesterday.
haven’t tested yet, will no doubt tomorrow morning just to be sure. Then I can enjoy a glass of wine with dinner at the weekend

@narwhalsarereal I'm good thanks. Currently 5+5 and trying to remain positive. My personal mini milestone is getting to 7 weeks without bleeding as then will have "made it" further than last time. Going to book in a private scan for around 8 weeks. Had slow hcg line progression and not many symptoms to report so far.

@narwhalsarereal my cycle seems completely messed up this time and had a really sudden surge last week and it seemed to leave just as quickly as it showed up! Was earlier than expected too so just waiting it out now and waiting for AF so I can start fresh next cycle!

I feel a sudden relief now, will have a chilled week before OPK testing starts again.

I'm going on ok, tbh I'm starting to feel 'the deed' is such a chore at the moment....TTC certainly takes its toll

I'm feeling that way a little bit too. Life is just so busy as it is, it feels as if it's just another thing on a to do list, which in turn makes me less likely to want to do it outside of fertile windows and such 🥴
