I just realised that I should have peed on a stick for the CBFM yesterday! I got up so early it didn't ask for one because it wasn't the right time! DOH!

I did one this morning, I hope missing one doesn't matter.

Oufton · 10/04/2008 11:32

LittleSquirt I reckon we should both go for it just in the vain hope that doing bad things will make us both be up the duff! I'll get legless and you can go wild with the sushi (grim, I just do NOT like that stuff ) and then when we get our BFPs next week we can spend endless agonising days debating over whether it will have caused problems!!

Oh how I enjoy my wishful thinkings.....

Sorry beaniesteve I know nothing of the monitors but it can't be that bad surely?

LittleSquirt · 10/04/2008 11:35

Hi BS - I don't think it matters hugely although the past 2 cycles, my CBFM didn't show me any "high" days before my peak days (I still got 2 peak days followed by a final "high" day though) and I think it might be because I missed some tests (I know I always ov on CD13/14/15 now so when it started asking me for tests on CD6, I ignored it until CD10 because I knew there was no point. I think it has been punishing me for it though!!
I will do the tests religiously from next cycle (CD1 likely to be Monday) and I'll see if I start getting high days before my peak days again.

LittleSquirt · 10/04/2008 11:36

You're on Oufton!!! Sounds like a plan to me!

lou2311 · 10/04/2008 16:53

Hello everyone - hope all are okay.
Still waiting to test.
Beanie - I have a CBFM too, and have also missed a day before, it is fine it kind of assumes what is happening from your other results.
A quick question - has anybody had nosebleeds as a symptom of pregnancy?
Ta x

lou2311 · 10/04/2008 16:56

who would have thought little plastic sticks that cost about 1p to make would have such a mark up!! expensive - but at least i know my cycle now. It took 3 cycles for mine to stop asking me on day 6, and i dont ovulate till day 19/20.

ShayeraHol · 10/04/2008 19:24

I'm out of sync on the last update, so just updating: hope I've done it right!

funbags · 10/04/2008 23:50

hello everyone. Im new and could do with your expert advice. TTC. 2MC's since November. No clue why, have 2 y/o DD. Desperate to crack on. Want to try ovulation tests to time things a bit better (have all the fertile signs for 7-10 days so getting worn out shagging and DH starting to flag a bit, plus keep getting thrush towards the end of the 7-10 days, which takes 2 lots of thrush meds to clear, and the cream alone never shifts it).

Which are better the saliva tests or the wee ones? Working full time so worried about hiding in the loo for 5 mins every lunchtime! I know 6 pregnant or recently delivered people, finding it hard right now waiting for af to arrive, just know no luck this month.

scully · 11/04/2008 08:37

Hello ladies, thought I'd make a reappearance on here Haven't read the whole 8 pages, may do some skimming later when dd2 isn't climbing all over me.
Thanks to whoever put me on the list, whenever I know what my cycle is doing, I'll update it.
Funbags, know what you mean, in the middle of my 2nd m/c in 7mths, it's frustrating when you have no idea why and after the first one you think you'll only be unlucky once.
I have one of those saliva tests, but never found it helpful, never managed to get the right pattern. I have fallen pregnant 3 times with opk's and when my cycle is regular, using an ovulation calendar on a pregnancy website.
Fingers crossed for you Ei, hope you find out soon what's happening.
5.30pm here, might be time for a small glass of wine, especially as dh is working late, and the dd's are being particularly noisy

Bucky2008 · 11/04/2008 08:47

The list is a day out because it wasn't updated yesterday....

As usual I am rushing out to work so no time to do it but I thought I would let you know.

Disenchanted · 11/04/2008 08:47

Af still isnt here for me,

My last one came CD27 and its CD29 for me today. Didn't test this morning, think I will wait till Sunday if shes not here by then.

Was feeling really crampy yesterday.

And if Im going to be totally honest I haven't had any PMT! Im usually like a banshee but nothing hmm

If I hadn't done that test yesterday I would be sure I was PG!

Nothing to do but wait!

Can I ask about CM too please? I went to the loo yesterday and had cloudy really string CM, any ideas?

Thanks x

SparklyMummy · 11/04/2008 08:48

funbags Sorry to read of MCs. I use OPKs and take my BBT every morning. I haven't tried saliva ones, I just use the cheapie ebay OPKs and they seem to give a good indication of when to BD. I hope you don't have to wait too much longer!
Scully Glass of wine even at 8;47am sound appealing to me....esp after nursing DD's chickenpox!!!

Oufton · 11/04/2008 09:15

Good morning one and all. Sorry to hear about your problems funbags but welcome to the thread, hope your stay is a short one!

Dis hope you get a BFP on Sunday, fingers crossed all round. Can't offer any advice on the CM though I'm afraid.

Morning to everyone else, the weekend's here at last and since I've made a pact with LittleSquirt to get squiffy over the weekend to invoke sod's law I can't wait for 5pm, in fact Scully I'll have a glass of yours please, yay!

scully · 11/04/2008 09:27

Ha ha Sparkly and Oufton, it is quite yummy though Need to have dinner though or it will go straight to my head
Sorry Disenchanted, don't know about the cm, hope tew doesn't find you.

LittleSquirt · 11/04/2008 09:41

Morning everyone!

Scully, Sparkly and Oufton - may I joing you in the wine drinking please? Being French I also brought my own bottle of Bordeaux to share with you all (didn't think one bottle would be nearly enough between 4 of us now!!

Welcome funbags - so sorry about the MCs though, you too Scully

Dis - I find that I get more CM a few days before AF. But I have read that increased CM can also be a symptom of PG though. I hope it is for you!!

LittleSquirt · 11/04/2008 09:42

oops, join, not joing!

Oufton · 11/04/2008 10:14

LittleSquirt you're French? Well in that case it seems absolutely rude not to indulge in a glass or two of vino - we'd be insulting your national pride if not. How about we crack open the Bordeaux over a nice leisurely Friday lunch? I'll bring the bread and olives...

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 11/04/2008 11:04

hi ladies
ok update! i went to the docs and told him about everythin that is going on and about my magic 'optical illusion' test from yesterday. i also started spotting red blood overnight aswell and told him this and he has said he thinks it is an early MC/CP! it makes sense i suppose but he wants to send a wee sample off and when we get the result i will then go for a blood sample if that is neg if its BFP then i will be referred to EPU for an early scan due to my MC a few years ago! he was very helpful and i feel a bit sad now but funny thing is my temp is still high so i am thinking CP aswell ah well i wont have any more concrete answers til next week now but im assuming i will be on cycle 6 by next week so hey ho off to cycle 6 i go!!
mollie sorry AF got you
good luck to those due to test

Oh ei what a terrible disappointment for you. Big hugs all round ,take care of yourself over the weekend. xxx

LittleSquirt · 11/04/2008 11:58

Oh Ei

I am praying that things might still turn out ok for you, with your temps still hight there is still a tiny chance it might, isn't there?

In any case you are more than welcome to have a little wine with us if that might help?

EiWishFor3MoreWishes · 11/04/2008 12:02

thanx LS and oufton im not hopeful and TBH if i hadnt started temping i would have assumed all was well and i was having a long cycle so its only due to the temping i know something is amiss IYSWIM. the doc said that he thinks it is a CP and unless i am told otherwise i am taking that and running with it i think
hope you two invoke sods law and get your BFPs on monday xx

LittleSquirt · 11/04/2008 16:15

I am not hopeful either actually Ei - I have started cramping and feel really sad today - the usual signs that AF will be arriving quite soon (she is due on Tuesday).

Take care of yourself this weekend, I am thinking of you x

The stats were a day out so I have corrected it. Also has anyone seen the 'hundred club' people. i.e. the people who are over CD90...are you all still here or have some people left and not told us?
