JJB former cycle-buddy, just popped in to post {{{hugs}}} for you. I don't mean to raise your hopes but is there any chance bleed could be implantation ? I had a 3 day imp bleed a few days before AF was due then got BFP... It was temping that alerted me to that fact that I may be PG, are you temping ?

tinkerbelldust · 25/04/2008 08:22

morning ladies ei good idea with list very positive
cd35 for me and temp rise again getting there slowly but hopefully surely

Oufton · 25/04/2008 10:13

morning ladies,
good going on the gym sparkley, that means you can have a saintly guilt-free weekend!

Hi josie, this has been a really odd month for periods, mine and eleveld's did much the same thing, really light, short period. I haven't been able to attribute mine to anything (I'm rather hoping my body's holding onto the lining to have an extra squishy bed for this month's bean!) and I think eleveld is still waiting to see if anything else happens. It must be something in the water or perhaps the start of spring...

seems quiet on here again, I'm guessing everyone is working hard. Oh well, at least it's Friday.

SparklyGirlFriday · 25/04/2008 10:20

Josie Hi hun. Sorry AF got you . I have been experiencing pre-AF spotting and virtually no AF. I have fairly regular periods (28-35 days) but no 'real' bleed. I'm not sure why this happens but the doctor is doing blood tests to try and find out. Have you seen GP? As everyone else said, have you tested to rule out implantation? xxxx
ei Hi!!
Oufton It is quiet on here again today isn't it! I'm going to try not to let myself slip too much this weekend (even though ei and fruity are coming to visit). I've got loads of work to do today and then i'm off to the gym with my snazzy new ipod.

That should be lots of fun sparkley, it must be really weird seeing MNers in RL! Hope you all have a lovely time, mine's a glass of sauvignon blanc please!

SparklyGirlFriday · 25/04/2008 10:27

Oufton I love a glass of sauvignon blanc too. have you tried Boschendal? If not treat yourself to a bottle this weekend. They sell it in tesco and it's lovely!

Oufton · 25/04/2008 12:01

No i haven't sparkley I'm annoyingly quite far from a Tescos but I shall attempt to find that name, I love a wine recommendation!

LittleSquirt · 25/04/2008 12:01

Morning ladies!

Oufton, Eleveld, Sparkly and Josie - I also have very short periods! Last one was 2 days. I got Ashermans' syndrome after my D&C in July and although I had an op to correct it in Dec, as my periods are still very light, I am actually going to see another gynea (who specilises in Ashermans' treatment) on Tuesday next week to see exactly what's going on in my uterus. Have any of you had a D&C that might have cause issues? Ashermans' can also happen after a C-section and I know that some of you are TTC #2.
Hopefully not and you are all about to get BFPs instead, I really hope so!

Treats - lovely to hear from you!
Mibbes - you too, hoping you are enjoying your pregnancy!

Well, nothing exciting happening here I'm afraid. I ovulated on CD13 last month but this month I'm on CD13 today and my CB monitor hasn't even given me a high fertility day yet - although I did get EWCM yesterday. Past two months it went straight from "low" to "peak" so hoping it might be the case again (although slightly worried that I never get "high" days before my "peak" days anymore, wonder if my hormones have gone all funny...) and I might get first "peak" day tomorrow...
DH is very motivated this month and we have been BD'ing at least every other day since CD8 so still hoping we might catch my elusive egg once it finally makes an appearance!

Hello to everyone, especially Lou - my CB! - and Oufton and Ei - my HCBs! x

SparklyGirlFriday · 25/04/2008 14:06

Oufton It's on offer in Tesco at the moment. Here is what it looks like. It is yum!
Little Squirt I haven't had a D&C or a C-Section but would be interested to look into Ashermans syndrome. Well done on the BDing. Hope your egg appears over the weekend.

Oufton · 25/04/2008 14:31

Thanks sparkley I like the look of their free delivery offer, I might just get on ordering a case before it expires!

LittleSquirt I haven't had either of those things either but thanks for the info, it's always good to have knowledge! I hope your appt next week goes ok.

It's nice to still be an HCB because I haven't got any CBs this month [sniff]

Well anyway it's almost the weekend and I'm out for after work drinks, hurrah!

FruitynNutty · 25/04/2008 14:40

oooh sparkly reckon we should get a case in for sat night?

Treats · 25/04/2008 15:34

Josie - I've had some very odd periods. The last but one I had was a very slight bleed on day 1, nothing at all on day 2 and then back with a vengeance on day 3. I don't think I can say anything to reassure you, though. I'm a PCOS sufferer, so period weirdness comes with the territory. I know the others have said it, but check it out with your GP.

The only other thing to consider is whether you've been under a lot of stress this month. Stress increases the cortisol hormone which regulates some of our reproductive capacity, so there's a direct link between stress and period problems. Just a thought......

Scanning the sky for TEW's broomstick, but no sign yet. Have had quite severe pains to the right of my abdomen this afternoon, but trying not to be too self obsessed about it.

How is everyone else today? Anyone testing this weekend??????

Treats · 25/04/2008 15:36

BTW - LittleSquirt - what is Asherman's Syndrome? I haven't heard of it. Doesn't sound very pleasant......

LittleSquirt · 25/04/2008 17:44

oufton you are def my HCB, you're not alone!!

Treats - great to hear that TEW hasn't turned up yet! I hope she stays away for 9 months or so!

There is a great website about Ashermans' here. It will tell you everything from what it is, to the symptoms, etc...

In short, it is when the two sides of the uterus heal shut after a D&C or other intra-uterine procedure.

Most doctors say this is a very rare condition but more a more sufferers are being discovered so it's become apparent that it is only considered very rare because it is rarely diagnosed.

This doesn't mean to say that any of you have it though. Hopefully I am the only unlucky sufferer on this thread!

Eleveld · 25/04/2008 20:29

Hi Girls

Don't know what the hell is going on here.

On CD33 today.

On CD 28 - CD31 got a brown discharge (only visible on a tampon - sorry TMI .
On one of these days there was the teeniest, tiniest spot of pale red blood).

CD 32 and CD33 (today) - absolutely nothing at all. And don't have the slightest symptom that AF is about to arrive.

Am not PG though - negative test.

Josie and Oufton - any more news with you? Sounds like we're having a similar experience.

Good luck to everyone else - we're due a BFP this weekend!

Moonlit · 25/04/2008 23:15

Hi Ladies,

How are you all. Nice to see lots more BFP's.

Well I am fast approaching Cycle 20. You guys should count yourselves lucky, at least you are not on Cycle 20. I did book an appointment to see my GP to tell her off for not helping me, but then I chickened out. I am going to wait until the end of May to see her again.

We are moving abroad, so I am too stressed to be telling my GP off.

Anyway, my DH and I are always making time for BD

xx

josiejellybean · 26/04/2008 08:38

hi guys- im so that fruity and sparkly and ei are so meating up i wish i could have found some flights to come down too .

thanx for all your ideas and support guys i have booked an appointment with my GP for monday so i will keep you up dated with what he says....he is very helpful so im lucky in that respect, he probibly thinks im a mad loony woman but he never shows it!

beaniesteve · 26/04/2008 13:28

Cycle day 9 for me, and another low on the Fertility monitor. Am wondering when it will come this month - was about day 11/12 last month.

JustJaamy · 26/04/2008 13:42

Afternoon All!

AF is a day overdue! Don't feel like it's on the way, cramping and bloating (and bad mood!) I had at beginning of week have disappeared. Trying not to get hopes up. Will be testing tomorrow...if I can resist til then.

Littlesquirt - Asherman's doesn't sound very pleasant. As you've said, it's not very well known. Hoping the specialist will have a simple solution when you see them next week.

Ei, Fruity and Sparkly - hope you ladies are having a ball in Cardiff. Ei you'll have to give me some tips on cheap travel there. I have friends who live in Cardiff and I can't even afford to visit them

Moonlit - Poor you. Stress isn't going to help when TTC. Hopefully once you are settled abroad things will happen.

JJB - there have been lots of strange goings on on this thread lately. Hope the gp has something constructive to say.

Eleveld - for BFN. Maybe Oufton is right and your uterus is holding on to that comfy squidgey lining for this new cycle!

Littlesquirt - EWCM good sign that egg could be on the way. Hope you and DH's valiant efforts pay off.

Hi to everyone else...Hope all ok.

JustJaamy · 26/04/2008 13:43

Oooh, BS - time for the old BD routine? Hope you get lucky this month.

beaniesteve · 26/04/2008 13:46

Well we're back on the horse so to speak.

Who knows - I hope so, I really do. A January baby would do for me.

tinkerbelldust · 26/04/2008 19:59

temp rise today ye not far of ff confirming ovulation
how high does my temp have to go for ff to confirm ovulation

KaSo · 26/04/2008 21:09

Hi everyone, I'm new! I'm ttc #4 after a gap of over 7 years, my youngest will be at least 8.5 if I do fall pg soon.
I've been trying since Nov, so this is my 6th cycle. With the other 3 I fell pregnant just by looking at a man, this time its alot harder. Af's due on the 2nd so not long now..

tinkerbelldust · 27/04/2008 07:45

welcome kaso
good luck

LittleSquirt · 27/04/2008 14:37

Hi everyone

Tink - you have to have 3 high temps in a row before FF confirms OV

BS - good luck for the BDing this month. A January baby would be just fine for me too! The baby I lost last year was due 27th Jan so it really would be nice to finally get my January baby

JJ - any news? Hope the witch hasn't caught up with you. Fingers and everything else crossed for you!! And you were right, my egg was on its way, from the pain (which I have every month) I know that I OV'd yesterday. So it's 1DPO for me today! Didn't actually BD yesterday but did the two previous days so we'll see...

Ei, Oufton and Lou - my HCBs and CB, any sign of ovulation for you guys?

Hello to everyone else too! x
