Lottie, I am SOOOOOO excited about starting over. I am in my total anal-rententive mode with organising the move.

Unfortunately just found out XH is also moving north! Seems he decided a fresh start in a new city would also be good, so he's accepted his employer's offer to help move him to Manchester! He'll be only 15 miles away. Oh well, don't suppose there's much chance of running into him. Going to try not to think about it.

Disturbed nights sleep again.
Does that make temp unreliable? Would it be likely to be higher or lower if sleep is disturbed?
I'm waivering on testing

Hi all...hope everyone is ok.
sorky I will resist if you do - you'll only most likely get a BFN even if really it should be a BFP...enjoy your weekend. I have stopped myself being pulled up the stairs to the bathroom with that "oh sod it I'm off to POAS" feeling - I've done a massive cook up,all the washing.......and eaten half a tub of chocolate crispy thingies. I had a horrible dream last night that I took ds to some big party and I lost him. Woke up sobbing my socks off so I was feeling all a bit up in the air today too......

I think temps usually go up a bit with a more disturbed night? Mine do anyway

Hi all. Sorry I disappeared but AF arrival , frantic at work and parents staying mean I have not been able to get online for a few days.

Feeling OK now, but Thursday was tough. I actually thought of packing the whole thing in, which is why I haven't temped for a couple of days. However, I am back and will start temping again on Monday.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend.

sorkycake · 05/04/2008 23:01

Woke up with cramps so I expect my period tomorrow and I have a splitting headache again. Either I'm not getting enough sleep or it's PMS.

I'll be out for the next 2 cycles if this one is lost due to birthdays in Jan & Feb, plus I can feel myself being sucked into ttc again, wondering whether this is it, have I O'd? am I late?
It's much better for me to just not try I think. I'm miserable when symptom watching etc.

Still 10dpo is not quite the end yet

beaniesteve · 06/04/2008 08:11

Good morning. I am a little confused. My temperature rose this morning from 36.3 to 36.6 and the fertility friend thing has now ajusted to say I am 3 days past ovulation (I am on day 11 of my cycle) yet my Clearblue monitor gave me my first peak day today.

As I have only been charting on FF for one cycle do you think that it may be wrong and I should assume that my Monitor is more correct? I haven't done a normal ovulation test today as I was going to wait until later, but I didn't get any kind of positive when I tested yesterday.

beanie...not sure on the ff chart but I think sometimes you might test at certain time of the day and it could be -ve and another and you get +ve? Might be wrong. Do you test more than once? I think you also have to test post 2pm as the surge takes a while to register. You probably know all that anyway so sorry If I'm telling you what you do know !

Temp still up but am having vague AF crampy feelings.... so we'll see. AF due tomorrow.

Orchid sorry you're feeling low. Please try to stay positive - easy to say I know but we're all here to support you.

On an entirely different note, we have woken up to a couple of inches of snow - it is a winter wonderland out there !

beaniesteve · 06/04/2008 08:33

hmmm - I'm using a fertility monitor for the first time and not sure if I should go by that rather than FF.

OP posts:
sorkycake · 06/04/2008 09:16

Scrap my previous message from this morning.

I caved and poas:
first response- negative, FMU.
I left it on the side whilst I sorted out breakfast, had a quick second look after 20 minutes and there was a verrrry faint line.
I took the test apart (i know, i know) to get a better look and sure enough when it's held up o the light there is a PINK line.

So I've waited until I need the toilet again, tested with a Sainsbury's own brand, not with fmu, but it's a clear positive.

It's still faint but def there (no tilting or squinting or moving to another room/light source required lol

YAY!

someone on the ppp ccc thead has posted some stats about the fact that 2 days before is more successful.

Also that there should be no abstinence before the fertile period because it apparently lessens sperm quality.

The 15 times a month recommendation by Zita would seem about right then by that info.

I do feel very guilty that I've jumped the queue

I honestly don't feel pg at all.
