Oops - jumped out of bed to do a mega early Tesco shop (only way I can do it now DS gets really impatient so I entice into the trolley with hs "breakfast" a mixed pot of cereal, raisins and rice cakes - fine until he manages to tip it all over the floor....) and entirely forgot to take temp. Maybe it's dipped by now ? Who knows. Monday is when AF should be here and TBH I am almost never late, early maybe, but late no...

Claire I had lots of spotting very early with DS. I know that doesn't necessarily help and I know that you probably are aware that it can happen early pg.....fingers crossed for you.

I am going to resist POAS all weekend - if the weather is good I'm hoping to get some time in the garden if I can persuade DH to go and visit PIL's with DS...might take my mind off it.

No other symptoms...had a couple of funny dizzy spells. Boobs feel a bit tender but not sure....if I remember rightly, first time round they were so tender and almost hot .....Although I also used to get that as an AF symptom when much younger....

All I can do is wait. Have just also bought stuff to make icecream (not made it before) as we have friends over for dinner on Sat night and notice it has raw egg yolks.....and shall I drink??....I think I might do all of them and blow caution to the wind...I'm not exactly the worlds biggest drinker anyway.

Lordy I'm rambling.
Must go......

PrePG · 04/04/2008 13:53

herbgarden and claire - fingers crossed for you both!

herbgarden I've always been advised to do what you normally would even if you're in the 2WW. It won't matter at all to the baby if you are pg as you're not sharing blood at that point. Also, I always love to temp Murphy's Law

I'm getting even more confused about my cycle. CD21 and still no sign of O, which is fine because it's my first cycle since MC, but I had spotted for a few days around 16-18 and then it stopped and today it's started again. Have no idea what it's all about.

No temp today, I was so exhausted I didn't wake up for alarm or anything.

Claire, sorry the b*tch got you.

OrchidGirl, where are ya?

My temp raised back up this morning so obv that brings the inevitable question of whether that was an implantation dip at 7dpo, coupled with some light cramping over last 2 days, it's a shoe-in

Actually whilst walking through town today I had to stop due a sharp stabbing pain for a few seconds over my right ovary-ish area, so that's obv a sign as well

My headache had returned with vengeance and I've got EWCM again.

My body clearly has no clue at all what's going on, and my hurty brain has even less.

Claire ... I'm sorry to see you at CD1. Fingers crossed for this cycle!!!

Sorky ... really admiring your self-restraint at not testing!!! Well done you

sorkycake · 04/04/2008 17:31

I know, I'm quite proud really

I've decided to believe that the dip is implantation and that the ++ EWCM means I'm pg, as I can only ever remember having it when I'm pg.

Oh I'm not!

I'm waiting for 18 high temps

Ready · 04/04/2008 18:12

Yes, I too have a look to see what FF will suggest if certain things happen ? perhaps Lottie, have a tinker and see what FF suggests if the temp rise is tomorrow or the next day? As I think the + would suggest that happening. Go on, I won?t tell

Sorky ? good on you girl! Enjoy all the extra CM and let?s just wait and see what happens in 18 high temps time. Fingers and toes crossed

Sarah, any drastic change in diet will make you feel odd for a while. I certainly felt like shite the first few days after I stopped drinking black tea ? headaches and general lethargy. Twas not good ? but now I sleep so much better and actually prefer the taste of Rooibos tea. I don?t think giving up carbs all together is a good idea ? but that?s not what you are talking about is it?

Hello girlies, thought I would just pop in and say hello and a massive hello to the 'old' timers... you know who you are!

Looks like there are a few peeps that are looking good... Are you going to test Minxi, Orchid or Nappy? Fingers crossed for some graduates... you deserve it!

I will be keeping an eye out for those positives! Love to you all Rah X

sarah76 · 05/04/2008 01:16

Lottie, totally with you on the wheat/sugar thing....everything seems to have it!

Marilyn Glenville's Fat Around the Middle book still means I end up eating less carbs, but I definitely can't do the Charles Clark 40-60g per daythat's the one that made me feel so off. I'm thinking about getting her Lose Your Belly vitamin formulations too-thought I was taking all the right stuff, but have since compared my Pregnacare ingredients to the ones she recommends, and they're different. Will probably wait until the stuff I have runs out and switch. I'll make sure I'm still taking folic acid and all that just in case I do get a BFP, but I really ought to lose some of this weight first anyway.

I'm hoping that being in a new city and having no takeaways nearby will encourage me to cook properly again. I'll have no excuse since I won't be working! Will be setting alarms everywhere to remind me to eat every three hours. DP and I did that for about three weeks, following Glenville's plan and we both felt great! Just gave up too soon really.

Morning Fym, we are total cycle twins this month, cross posting and all!

fym · 05/04/2008 07:54

Hi all my temp seems to have taken a leap I'll check tomorrow but looks like OV as it was a genuine temp (>3hrs sleep, no alcohol last night, not ill etc etc)

Not quite sure what is happening with my cycle - always been day 16 Ov and 28-29 day cycle, last month ov on day 12, this month day 10....

I do admit to not noticing my LP was 12 but have checked back and even on the first set of charts I'm Ov on day 16...
