Hi All

Thought I start the new thread before we ran out of space on the old one!

Hopefully good old Vita (Zita!!) will sprinkle some babydust on us all...

I got
this mp3 download

seems good - although I don't really remember beyond the first 10 minutes (it's an hour long). I can't remember feeling this positive on CD1 for quite some time....so it must be some use!

PS reading a bit more of my Zita west - the more orgasms you have can help you to OV sooner and seems to lengthen LP a bit Not sure of the science here but since doing (or trying to do) the 15 times a month recommendation my OV has been earlier and my LP longer ....

OP posts:
Squackycake · 23/04/2008 17:06

Glad you've found a positive frame of mind despite being back to cd1

PrePG · 23/04/2008 17:28

FYM Really? Can make you OV sooner and LP longer? WOW! We need to get BDing!

fym · 23/04/2008 17:39

according to Zita West....

Trouble with old Zita is there doesn't ever seem to be much actual evidence for all this.... YET she is renowned for solving fertility problems....so there must be some of it that's true

Hey everyone!

FYM ... so sorry Glad to hear your hypno is working out so well ... and well done on your trampette exercise! Sounds like a fun workout

I managed my 15 minute walk over my lunch hour (normally I read) ... I'm only a few minutes away from IKEA so my back up plan in case of bad weather is to zoom around their showroom and markethall without actually buying anything! Might be impossible.

Sarah ... so excited that you're a sci-fi nerd too We have all the Battlestar Galactica box sets (I bought Duane the Razor special dvd for Valentine's Day). My fave is Stargate ... crushed when SG1 finished but am liking Atlantis a lot more now that Weir's gone & Sam Carter is in charge! Have HUGE crush on Rodney McKay ... sit with arms crossed and face puckered in disgust anytime he has a love interest! Love him.

Clairvoyanttoo · 23/04/2008 18:26

FYM and Prepg ... we were also talking about a girl's name when DH ruled it out due to it being a porn name! Definite pattern here ....

Well, I honestly think I'm having an anovuatory cycle. This morning I took my temp early ... it was 36.53 (very low for me post-ov) ... when I put it in FF, no lines . I remembered I'd temped 30 mins early and so adjusted it to 36.54 which finally gave me lines. Adjusted or not, it's still very low, so I don't have high hopes for tomorrow ... crappity crap

Bloody hell, crossed with everyone, I was sure I hit refresh before changing them all and adding myself!

sarah76 · 24/04/2008 09:08

Clair, I haven't watched any of the SGs but everyone keeps recommending. May look for a cheap DVD box set when next in the U.S. I was devastated when they took Enterprise off after four seasonsthey kept DS9 on for ages and it was just craptacular! Plus I am completely smitten with Scott Bakula, have been every since Quantum Leap. We're about a third of the way through Season 2 of BSG, and DP keeps falling asleephow can he? It's my second time through and I'm still riveted! Tempted to start watching Season 4 without him!

Fym, sorry to see you back at the top but glad to hear you're feeling positive and the hypnotherapy CD seems to be working.

Who's next in the queue for testing? Eeek, I suppose I am, but not holding out any hope as despite an increase in BDing since the move, we managed to miss the best days yet again. I'm okay with it though, I really need to lose weight and get myself into an exercise routine. So Claire, I'm pinning my hopes on to you this round!

Got much more than my 15 minutes exercise in yesterday, we walked around Chester Zoo for 5 hours. Gym again today.

sarah76 · 24/04/2008 09:26

Tink, I have to agree with the others, I don't think you've ovulated yet. You may be having an anovulatory cycle. I've had them many times, and you can several patches of EWCM. You may have to wait a while before your body adjusts to being off the pill again.

Fruity, haven't seen you here in a while, you ok?

Clair, just had a look at your chart, doesn't look anovulatory to me, even with adjusted temps! Sometimes your coverline is lower, things do change between cycles. For about two years, every time I did ovulate my coverline was at least 36.2, but the last two ovulatory cycles it's been below that. Yours just looks a bit late this month, that's all.

Herbgarden, your chart says you're 5dpo, did I miss something, or are you skeptical of it?

Morning all.

I just can't seem to get into BSG, not sure why. Usually I'm a sucker for that stuff!

Watched Property Ladder last night and Sarah Beeny HAS TO BE pregnant again! The clips they were showing were dated April 08 which is, um, now and she looked like she was going to pop. Anyone, any explanation???

PrePG · 24/04/2008 10:42

Never mind, I found it! (and from a - ahem - most reliable source ) She is pregnant again!

Morning all, no temp to add for me today but just wanted to say hi

tinkerbelldust · 24/04/2008 13:37

hi ladies

i wont be testing till 10th of may
sarah i am assuming that i ovulated early in the week going by ewcm, also have tingly breats and have been getting emotional

Squackycake · 24/04/2008 17:36

Have just got the smiley face, worth the money (looks just like that one)

Ovulation cramps are killer so hopefully it won't be long, cramps are both sides too which is odd as I usually only get them on my right side.

No surge detected this morning, so it must be just starting.

Be interesting to see if my persona registers the same tomorrow.

Does anyone know if you can buy the sticks to go in the cb digi OPK. I really like this bit of kit, I highly recommend it

In fact if I can buy the sticks for it, I'll use this instead of the persona next month, be cheaper too.

Might see a temp rise Saturday with any luck

Hi all don't have long - ds gone to granny's I have wet hair and have to leave the house in 20 mins for an infrequent night out !! Anyway, yes, Sarah ff says I'm 5dpo but I'm not so sure. I had a positive OPK on Sat night and ov pain all day Sunday so I suspect it might have been more like SUnday than Sat but we'll see - so I may well be more like 4 dpo???

Squackycake · 24/04/2008 19:55

It is fabulously simple to use isn't it Lottie?

No squinting or comparing flippin' lines, brilliant. Added bonus of a happy face to tell you to go and shag someone.

It does seem a bit wasteful to not be able to buy the sticks, but I noticed they are exactly the same as the persona ones, which if iirc are the same ones as the CBfertility monitor ones so I'm sorely tempted to experiment a bit next month if I need to.
Persona sticks are about £8 for a box of 8 tests, which for me would give me at least 2 months if not 3 months worth of opk for less than half the price.

The cb ones are about the same I think.

Actually the Persona measures Oestrogen not just LH so they may not be of use, but hey, it's worth a shot, no? The cb may be our best bet.

Squacky ... good luck for your temp rise this weekend!!

Sarah ... we got into Enterprise after it had already been cut. Scott is & always has been adorable! Really enjoyed the episode that introduced the Borg ... v. cool You really should get into SG ... think you would love it. Lots of great references to other sci-fi classics in it ... Also, very you were at Chester zoo yesterday. Well done on the huge walk & gym session!
