Hi All

Thought I start the new thread before we ran out of space on the old one!

Hopefully good old Vita (Zita!!) will sprinkle some babydust on us all...

Not only was the heavy feeling not pregnancy related. My period just arrived at 20.42pm giving me an 11 day LP - bloody unheard of, me and my 12/13 lp. It's all going to pot. Or... am I not supposed to count today as cd1 because it was after 1pm? Clutching at straws?? Probably.

Sorry this is so self-absorbed, but

ClairLesley · 21/04/2008 21:02

Oh Ready ...

Don't know whether to count it or not ... I've only heard of the full flow vs. spotting distinction. Wouldn't surprise me if there was a time difference though ... this whole thing is so frickin' difficult.

I'm so sorry. Hug.

Ready · 21/04/2008 21:07

Thanks flower. Bless you. I am getting pretty sick and tired of this now. What a bloody failure I am.

ClairLesley · 21/04/2008 21:31

Please don't ever, ever say you are a failure Ready.

Problem is, it's just not fair. I can't blame you for being sick and tired ...

Has your AF started in earnest?

fym · 22/04/2008 07:42

ready - I think (if full flow) it would be cd1, BUT what's the problem with an 11 day LP??? Also as it was so late in the evening you're probably looking at an 11.9 day lp anyway (so very near 12!)

Mine's varied from 12 to 15 this time so a little variation is normal!!!

I'm going to post later as a BIG temp drop today so i'll be back to the top with you once AF makes an apppearance!...

OP posts:
fym · 22/04/2008 08:07

OK ready lets have a plan of action!

I'm going to have another go at the hypnotherapy cd, maybe reflexology as well. Plus am going to go to the gym again!!!

What about you???

All I've changed the dpo

crossingallbutlegs - not sure if you changed the dpo's ? Sorry if I'm being an interfering old bag......are your dpo's all correct now ? have a look...

ClairL...you know you were talking about having EWCM so near to ov - well I've been doing the OPK's Friday, Sat, Sun and one last night - had EWCM on Fri Sat and equal colour lines Fri night and then definite dark line so positive OPK on Sat night -
Temp up on Sunday with Ov pain and Temp up again yesterday and today. But have had EWCM again this morning - so I seem to have had EWCM v. near to what I think is ov p'raps yesterday/Monday - although FF hasn't put my line in yet (need to put today's temp in too so won't do it prob til Thursday). It's all a bit odd isn't it - what happened with you? I'm at work so can't browse the charts but do you think you did ov and then had more EWCm ( and it was quite a lot too). Hope everyone else is ok

Ready - how are you feeling today?

Really must go off and do some work . Bye for now but any comments on EWCM would be gratefully received !

Clair, I get weird CM all the time, esp during anovulatory cycles. And I've definitely had EWCM after ovulation. As I was saying in earlier post to Tink, sometimes I mistake it for EWCM, only to figure it out when the real thing arrives!

Ready, sorry to hear AF showed up. Don't know what else to say, so just

So sorry ready Not sure about when your new cycle should start. I had late spotting - about 10pm - this cycle and I didn't record it so that my CD1 was the day after. But since it's my first period since mc I wasn't sure what to do. Here it is CD9 and I've still got spotting/light flow

herby good luck!!!!

ClairL I'm sure I've had EWCM after O as well, but not a lot.

sarah76 · 22/04/2008 10:24

Ready, another thought I had looking at your chart. Is it possible you actually O'd two days earlier? There is a temp missing in there, and you did have EWCM. That would make your LP 13, and since LP is not supposed to vary much, it would be in keeping with your previous cycles......

Ready - really sorry to see back at the top . I wouldn't worry too much about your slightly shorter LP as it did seem you were having an unusual cycle. I think it was Seaside who convinced me to count AF after 4pm as the following day, and with my awful LP I cling to that - but 11(.99) days is fine anyway.

Lottie - sounds like the positive thinking is working

PrePG · 22/04/2008 11:15

Crossed with Lottie and just wanted to say I think that's a beautiful name for a little girl!

Also, another one here delighted to have an LP of 11 days!!! Ready I got pregnant with just a 10 day LP and stayed pregnant until 11 weeks - so a short LP isn't necessarily game over!

Ready · 22/04/2008 12:06

Rattling, well, if Seaside said after 4pm then I bet that is spot on. I am not sure what to do really. I guess I could count today as 1, and see what happens this cycle. I can always go back and adjust. Thanks.

ClairLesley, thanks again for responding so quickly last night. It hadn?t really started in earnest, but it was more than spotting. Full flow really kicked in today though, so will go with that. Although totally confused. Haha.

Lottie, do you think I should count today as cd1? Or cd2 then? I am glad that you have been having all these positive dreams ? it is a really good sign. Love Cecily Frances too It shows that you are able to picture yourself with a baby. Something I am struggling with at the moment ?

Minxi, ta for the hot cross buns ? if only I has some real ones in the house. How are you feeling? Do you know how long we have been posting together now!! It?s been a long time

Fym, there?s nothing wrong with an 11day lp, I just meant for me, 12/13 as a rule, it is a little weird. But like you say 11.99 is fine. Plan of action for me is to chill out, and I am reading Zita West?s book at the mo, and going to try and eat more of the good list foods and less of the bad foods list. But other than that, just going to get excited about my holiday!

Prepg, sorry to hear that you have still got some spotting at this stage in your cycle How frustrating. How long do you bleed for as a rule?

sarah, Thanks for looking at my chart, it?s funny, I showed dh last night, and mused myself at the possibility of that too. For now I am going with CD1 as today, and see what happens. It was an odd cycle anyway, so trying not to worry too much.

How is everyone?? I found a dead bird on my patio today, which really upset me

Ready, I also don't count spotting as AF starting. Only count CD1 when there is actual red flow requiring a pad or tampon. So does that make your LP 12 days again?

Ready · 22/04/2008 15:08

Ok... well if we are doing TMI... basically, I went to the toilet not really expecting my period til the morning, as I usually come on in the mornings. And there was a fair bit of red blood when I wiped. Twice. I put on a pad - but there was no more blood the rest of the night. And none first thing this morning until about 9. So do you think that makes it CD1 today?

ClairePO · 22/04/2008 15:11

CD1 today! Definitely.
