Hi All

Thought I start the new thread before we ran out of space on the old one!

Hopefully good old Vita (Zita!!) will sprinkle some babydust on us all...

Morning everyone. Ready and FYM sorry about the 'feelings' and the BFN, but it's not over until she shows! Thinking about you both!

And FYM that's great about the £20

Congrats to all of the girls that O'd a few days ago!

sarah76 · 21/04/2008 11:04

Finally-got back on after internet conked out on me!

Tink, FF did mark me as ovulated, this time with a heavy red line (earlier this cycle was just a dotted one as my CP seemed wrong). Will go have a nose at yours in a minute.

sarah76 · 21/04/2008 11:14

Tink, I'd say it's not clear from the chart that you have ovulated. There are higher temps on CD 25-26, that's why FF is not saying you've O'd yet. The rule of thumb is that you need to see 3 temps that are higher than the previous 6. FF is a little more sophisticated in working it out, and it may be that you have ovulated, but FF won't be able to say for a bit longer. But don't worry too much yet, your cycles can be messed up from the pill for a while afterward. How long were you on it, and what were your periods like before you were on it?

The other thing is, and I speak from loads of experience, are you sure you're getting EWCM? I seem to produce loads of CM all the time, and had/have a hard time distinguishing the most fertile stuff from the usual globbiness. Lots of it seems to stretch, and when I'm feeling hopeful I mark it as EWCM---then invariably I get some later on in the cycle that is much more slippery, clearer, and stretches a ridiculous amount.....then I know what I had before wasn't the real deal.

luvingtinkerbell · 21/04/2008 11:54

hi sarah
thanks for info
i started taking the pill when i was 18 i am 29 now.
stopped april 2004 to try for my dd1
then went back on stopped taking jan 23rd 2008
my periods before pill were heavy but regular 28 days
i am sure it is ewcm as before was just dry didnt have an ewcm and also last cycle was 55 days so about right for timing

luvingtinkerbell · 21/04/2008 11:58

the only other time last cycle i got ewcm was just before af but read that this is normal

ignore above about ewcm got in a pickle

basically have been dry all rest of cycle
my definition of ewcm
really wet and a tiny bit stretchy, lots of it
also have had high sex drive and bloated tummy

ClairePO · 21/04/2008 12:08

Does it feel slippery between your fingers?

I can't believe I'm actually asking questions like this, ttc is a funny old business.

luvingtinkerbell · 21/04/2008 12:10

lol
yes slippery and abit sticky

ClairePO · 21/04/2008 12:14

Sounds like EWCM to me.

I only really get EWCM, I don't get the other stages, just go from dry to EWCM then back to dry again with a bit of sticky towards the end of cycle.

luvingtinkerbell · 21/04/2008 12:15

thanks hun lol
any thoughts on my chart

ClairePO · 21/04/2008 12:20

I'm with Sarah that I think it is quite hard to tell. If you don't have a good few low temps before your temp rise then FF finds it difficult to identify a pattern. Not a lot of help I know and very frustrating for you.

luvingtinkerbell · 21/04/2008 12:24

thanks hun

Mmmm - think I ov'd yesterday as temp is up today to my usual post ov temps. Had a faint +ve last night but a clear +ve on Sat night (dh obliged ) and was really uncomfortable all day yesterday which has eased today.....let's see what the old ff says. I threw caution to the wind and got on with it and decided that I didn't much care when a dc is born, I'd just be happy to get a BFP !!..... I really am going to try not to get myself in the pickle I did last month although am spending the end of the 2ww with all my family........so that might take my mind off it.

luvingtinkerbell · 21/04/2008 17:27

good luck herb

Creena · 21/04/2008 17:27

Hey ladies - just popping in to say hi and sending you lots of good vibes and baby dust.

Thinking of you all, especially Ready, FYM, Lottie, Fruity, Rattling, Clair and Minxi.

Squackycake · 21/04/2008 17:33

It doesn't look as if you O'd yet Tink, I think you might need a few more high temps with a clear thermal shift from your previous ones. May still happen yet though.

luvingtinkerbell · 21/04/2008 18:16

thanks sc

Hi everyone!

Well done Claire & Sarah on Ov-ing ... tink I'm sure it won't be long!!

Glad you got your money back FYM!! Creena/FP ... Lovely to hear from you! How are you doing?? Thanks for the babydust

Lottie ... it's good to see you back. Hope you're feeling a little better.

Still unsure whether I ov'd or not yeserday. Temp today is on par with past immediately-post-ov temps ... and I woke up feeling hot the way I normally do in the 2ww. However, I had a little more EWCM today. I'm wondering if the Evening Primrose Oil I'm taking has really boosted production. I've definitely had more of it for longer since taking EPO ... but today just confused the crap out of me Anyone else get any EWCM so close after ov? Then again, maybe I won't ov this cycle ... I read you can have several patches of EWCM during anovulatory cycles ... I swear, we should all be awarded honorary biology degrees when we get our BFPs!!
