TTC no1 after loss

Is anyone ttc for their first after loss and wanting company? I'm currently on CD3 today so I'll be starting OPKs in a few days ready to try again.

Thanks @gingerbiscuit24 and @Plantpott. Only cycle 1 so I don't know why I feel so disheartened. Gonna cocoon with my dog and snacks on the sofa as it's an exceptionally heavy one this month.

@Orlahoping aw I'm sorry to hear ☹️ just take it easy for a while.
I am 1 DPO today, but had a nightmare these past two weeks as I had no idea when I was going to ovulate with my cycle being messed up after the MC, then DH got the flu in the middle of it. We manage to DTD a few times but it definitely wasn't ideal so I don't hold out much hope for us this month 🤷🏼‍♀️

Fingers crossed for you even though it wasn't ideal! We completely missed ovulation after my MC, but it was nice to feel intimate again.

Hey, can I join? I had a mc dec 23 and ttc my first healthy pregnancy. Currently waiting to see if my period arrives on the 8th or we get a BPF!x

Welcome @Mahex sorry for your loss. I'm due AF on the 9th so we're at a similar point. Are you planning on testing early or waiting to see if AF arrives?

I don't feel hopeful for this month but I'm still symptom spotting and counting down the days until I can start testing after saying before I would wait!

I am going to try hold off to see if AF arrives, but not holding much hope that I'll be able to hold off for that long. I'm symptom spotting aswell but then I feel like AF will arrive so I'm trying not to get into my head too much.

I caved and tested the last two mornings. I thought there was a hint of a line yesterday but today it's a definite BFN. I'm 9/10dpo and had a positive by 9dpo last time so feel I might be out this month.
Is anyone else at the testing stage?

@Plantpott not at the testing stage yet as I am just entering my fertile time again...about to try to get busy with DH.

10DPO is still early, but I can understand if you got a bfp at a similar time before. Best of luck. It's a pretty shitty rollercoaster...

I’m due the 8th too ladies. CP last month with no AF In between so not holding out loads of hope but can’t stop my imagination running away with me and getting my hopes up

@B1989 sorry to hear about your CP last month, it doesn't make you any less likely to conceive this time though. When are you planning on testing?

Im going to try and hold out until Sunday - 11 dpo. When are you thinking? Extremely tired today but no other real systems. Wishing everyone good luck!

@B1989 wishing you all the luck for tomorrow. I tested this morning and think it's a BFN but I can almost convince myself I see a hint of a line (which is likely just an indent/evap line if it even is there) so I'll just test again tomorrow unless AF turns up early before then. I don't have the willpower to hold off and wait it seems!
I have an awful cold so my symptoms can likely be explained by that or usual pre AF symptoms but I feel tired, intermittent nausea, intermittent sore boobs, some cramps. I was craving chocolate yesterday too which is normal pre AF but I had an aversion to it when pregnant before so that seems a bad sign.

AF fully here today. Positives is my cycle back to normal less than 4 weeks after CP so gotta hold on to that (v bad cramps though!) roll on next month. Good luck everyone x

Aw I'm sorry to hear ladies 😔 it's so horrible isn't it.
I'm only 7 DPO today so I've still got a while to wait but I'm not very confident. I don't have any of the symptoms I had the first time I was pregnant, and with DH being sick with a temperature, I just have it in my head his swimmers won't be effective this time around.
Yet even though I know we really are against it in terms of odds, I'll still be so disappointed if AF arrives 😕 it's such a rollercoaster and getting hopes up just makes the lows even worse

Hi all - firstly, I’m so sorry you have all had to go through this. I know this is an older thread but would love to join. I had a MMC @ 7+6 in October trying for #1, have had a period since and waiting for another one in a few weeks to start TTC. Been pretty hard finding others TTC after having their first loss whilst trying for #1, very glad you started this OP.

How is everyone getting on?
