Thought it was time we had a new home, seeing as we've almost outgrown the old one. So in honour to Scorpio, Sybil, BB and toomuch (hope I didn't forget anyone ) here we are - in the company of pregnant (and cheerful) ladies

OP posts:
nappyaddict · 20/06/2008 20:33

not sure where i will find toomuch but if you see her about and she is interested let me know.

good luck everyone for next month

nomoremagnolia · 20/06/2008 21:51

nappyaddict I take full responsibility for confusing you with our rather cryptic title - sorry

OP posts:
Ready · 20/06/2008 22:01

Big hugs nomore... hope you are ok?

scorpio1 · 21/06/2008 08:44

Ready - sorry about cd3

Nomore - look after yourself, you have had a rollercoaster lately. Treat yourself

Well, my kittens are buggers. Offically. They go in 1 week and 6 days though, I will miss them abit but it will also ben ice to walk around normally without fear of attack, lol.

I'm shopping for a cot, i want a stokke sleepi but dh says too much money. I thught i would get one if dc4 was on the cards - asked him last night and it would appear no i thought there wasa chance...for in a year or so, y'know? Think i will just drop it into convo every now and then. DH says i should be thankful for what i have, and believe me, i truly truly am and never take my darlings for granted. I cannot imagine never doing this again, i really can't. i wonder if i will ever feel finished?

Anyway, sorry Today is a nothing day - supermarket to do, wahoooooooo.

PiggyPenguin · 22/06/2008 15:15

Hi all, sorry haven't been around, feel exhausted as jamie has yet to grab the concept that sleeping is the thing to do at nighttime rather than during the day...

Scorpio, I totally understand how you feel. After last child I knew I wanted a third but dh was adament that he didn't. I remember begging him to put the baby stuff in the loft rather than get rid of it and then crying everytime we put something away as I was sure I would never use it again. It took 4.5 years of 'dropping it into conversations' but obviously I wore him down eventually!

Much love and hugs to everyone else, especially those at the start of cycles.

mistlethrush · 23/06/2008 08:45

Sybil hope that you too are catching up at bit in the day when you can. Only thing to do! I still do on occasion - although ds has an uncanny way of cottoning on and scuppering the plan.

My parents have been up for the weekend, so df given a lot of things to mend, and gardening jobs and dm on ds duties - she now knows why very little is achieved when ds is in tow!

Gilly congratulations on the new job!

Re timing, its a poser isn't it. i'm not really in a position to advise - having handed notice in at last job and got pregnant whilst working my notice (perhaps I should try that again!). New job were a bit surprised, although, in my defence, I should make it clear that I had made it very clear that I was hoping to start a family , and, if I did, I would want to drop down from 4 to 3 days (which I did, although gone up to 4 again now).

If you're starting new job in August (effectively), would you want to start IVF in September, or would leaving it one month be less stressful? You might have settled in a bit better by then - but you might find the additional 1m wait stressful in itself.

Its really difficult!

So glad about the job though - hope it lives up to expectations.

toomuchtimeonline · 24/06/2008 17:12

Hi guys - we've been moving offices for the last few weeks and I haven't really managed to get online but I'm back now!

Nomore I'm so sorry I've been thinking about you lots and had everything crossed that it would work for you so I'm gutted - I can't imagine how you feel When you say no more actively TTC till Oct - are you still going to Bong at the right time just in case? They didn't find any reason why it wouldn't happen naturally did they? Sorry to hear about DH's grandma too Hope you're feeling better this week! [Hug emotion]

Gilly So sorry to hear about your BFN - big hugs and hope the next session works for you. Glad you had a good holiday and fingers crossed you get to utilise the corduroy outfit soon [fingers crossed emotion] Huge congrats on the new job! Can you not take a week off and start a week later to give you some extra time for the treatment?

Ready I love cheese on toast - sounds like the perfect anniversary to me - you're in the business end of things now aren't you - are you bonging for England

I keep everything crossed that you will all get your BFPs soon.. it is all so unfair - I swear I will be as happy as hearing a close friend in RL is pregnant when one of you announce!

Sybil huge congrats - are you getting any sleep yet

Scorp how's the bug? I was just about to say that having AF back at least meant that you could start anticipating starting to TTC again but then I read your next post about DH - he may come around you never know - it's very early still after the arrival of Millie..

MT Hi how's things. Hope DS is behaving himself. Any chance of bonging at the right time this cycle?

Anyway - my news - had the 20 week scan and BabyTooMuch is..

Blue!!!!!

We're both over the moon as everything was normal on the scan and he was bouncing about in the there

toomuchtimeonline · 24/06/2008 17:20

p.s. Hobnobs for some reason you dropped off the bottom of my list sorry Hope you have a good time in Italy - maybe some Irish bonging is just what you need to bring some good luck back to the thread.

Anyone else I've stupidly forget - sorry and hello

toomuchtimeonline · 24/06/2008 17:20

I obviously meant forgot [oops emotion]

mistlethrush · 25/06/2008 08:48

Toomuch hurrahhh! So in 3 years time you too will be tearing your hair out with a complete monster on your hands! (who, for the rest of the time is angelic, beautiful, loving and for whom butter wouldn't melt)(except when you stick your fingers in it and suck them then wipe them on the table/tshirt/mum.... )

toomuchtimeonline · 25/06/2008 09:48

Hopefully MT - your DS sounds fab (even with all the sticky fingers and stuff )

How are you doing?

mistlethrush · 25/06/2008 09:56

Not too bad thanks. Missed the boat again this month I think. Which was a month that I did have hopes for as it has worked for the last 2 yrs...

Never mind, perhaps #2 was never meant to be. We do have hands full with #1, and he did take a lot of waiting around for! Good thing that he is absolutely gorgeous, apart from when he is being a complete monster (nothing in between really )

Yay toomuch a boy - they are the best even if i say so myself..... Can we call him Dexter so at least i can live through you??? Mimi would have been Dexter William.

DH will come round or i might just leave TTC, I don't want to until at least Xmas anyway so plenty of time to put it in converstations.... [evil cackle]

EllieG from my PN thread sent me an electric breast pump - wow!! So much better, dh & i went out last night, i have enough for her to have a bottle early evening tonight too. . i get like 4oz in about 15 minutes!! before i was getting an ounce in 15 minutes...

My Bugaboo is great, random strangers stop me and ask me about it (think its cos it denim)

I am after a Stokke Sleepi now for Mimi; DH is not keen but i think he will be ok if i get a 2nd hand one from Ebay. He just doesnt want to 'waste' all that money on 'just' a cot, especially after the whole buggy fiasco.

Hope everyone is well, goodness my post was very me me me.

nomoremagnolia · 25/06/2008 23:36

Hi all
Just checking in on you but it's late and I want to go to sleep
Just quickly to toomuch welcome back and congrats on the little boy Any names or is it a suprise?

OP posts:
toomuchtimeonline · 26/06/2008 10:21

Morning all!

We're finding the names thing a bit hard so have decided to wait and see what he looks like.. any suggestions warmly received (Scorpio - I've told you before I love the name Dexter so it would definitely be in my maybe list ... trouble is all I have is a really long maybe list as I can't decide on a shortlist..)

In terms of knitting - I don't want to impose however, anything blue that you don't want will be gratefully received!

How is everyone feeling at the moment - I know you're all fairly early in the CD cycle..

toomuchtimeonline · 26/06/2008 10:25

p.s.

gilly great news about the house offer and the interest - is this your house up north that you are selling? Also, it sounds as though the timing of the new job might all just work itself out [fingers crossed]

MT sorry to hear that you've missed your go this month - maybe next month? Is DH at least co-operating now?

Scorpio Sounds like you're going to be all kitted out with the latest gear

nomore Just reread my post and it sounds like I'm grovelling for booties - I really didn't mean that.. I was just responding to your "what colour wool should I buy?" - I didn't mean for it to sound like a demand for baby clothes... sorry

PiggyPenguin · 26/06/2008 11:51

Hi all. I'm thinking of changing my name to zombie mum. Jamie was up from 8.30 to 2.30 this morning and then fed at 3, 5 and 7. I have bags Tesco could put my weeks shopping in.

Still, he is lovely so shouldn't grumble too much. Toomuch, congratulations on your little boy. I wanted Tristan or Noah for Jamie but dh would only consider very traditional names. oops have to go, screamer in background!

nomoremagnolia · 26/06/2008 12:31

toomuch I will happily make you booties - I'm also wanting to try this What do you think? Do you want baby blue or something a bit different?
sybil sorry Jamie's not sleeping well - ps love the name Noah

OP posts:
toomuchtimeonline · 26/06/2008 13:42

sybil hope you get some sleep - love those names too - a few more to add to the maybe pile

nomore that looks amazing - you're a better knitter than me - I wouldn't dare try and knit something to complicated! I don't care which colour booties - you pick and thanks!!! I'll get practising so that by the time baby nomore comes I'll be up to your standard . How are you doing? I guess still fairly gutted by last month - are you giving nature a shot this month?

toomuchtimeonline · 26/06/2008 13:44

p.s. where is the pattern for the yoda sweater?
