TTC for 10 months should we worry

As the title suggests we have been TTC for 10 months, should we be worried there’s something wrong?

I have been tracking BBT for around 14 months since coming off the pill and have also used ovulation tests so know that I’m ovulating.

Do I just need to be more patient as I know it can take up to a year, but with only 2 months left I’m starting to worry it might never happen.

Does anyone have any advice or success stories of conceiving after TTC for similar time?

Hey! Unfortunately not, coming up to the 18th month TTC but we’ve now been referred to our local fertility clinic for male factor infertility so that explains why we’ve struggled.

Its been such a hard year as I really hoped we’d either have a baby or end the year pregnant but thats not going to happen.

we at least know more than the start of the year though and will hopefully know more after our meeting at the fertility clinic ✨

My husbands SA results have increased ever so slightly following a Mediterranean diet and taking impryl so hopefully this will help for ICSI if we end up needing it!

Thank you for your reply 🩵 and although I’m sorry you’re still on this journey, really positive that you’ve got the ball rolling with fertility clinic!
We have a mixed picture, hubby has a low count and I’ve got borderline pcos so we’re looking at starting ICSI in the new year! Feel once that starts can feel like we’re actually taking some action as opposed to just waiting… endlessly… which is what it feels like now!
I too turned 30 this year and so I try to focus on having the gift of time but it’s so difficult being at the age where EVERYONE seems to be getting pregnant, when only a few years ago it didn’t even cross my mind I’d be in the position 😂 xx

The endless waiting really is the hardest part isn’t it! When all you want is to be pregnant.

it’s been the longest 16 weeks since our referral went in and now our appointment is 2 weeks away! I’m really hoping they can get our tests done quickly and a plan in place so we know what we’re doing and when.

I’ve just turned 30 and know age is on my side as well but i just never thought it would be this difficult, and like you say it seems everyone is now getting pregnant 😂

have you already been to the fertility clinic? X

Yeah I think having a plan in place and something to work towards makes the days feel a bit easier.

We have been to a fertility clinic, have done lots of the initial stuff and looking to start ICSI in the new year, but I’m so impatient lol.

Just fearful so find myself scrolling looking for hope, about to enter the dreaded two week wait 😭

I’m hoping things happen quickly for you!!! Xxxx

Hi @Pandamonium04, could I ask, was this the same cycle you had your hycosy? I had mine this month and am now about to ovulate a week later xx

Hello @OneHeapedTeaspoonOfSugar sorry for the delayed response - yes it was the same cycle as I had my hycosy! I hope all is well with you xx

We have been ttc for 3 and a half years. Every single test comes back absolutely fine / normal and yet no pregnancy in all that time. We had tests after 6 months privately as I didn’t want to wait 12 months . A lot we have repeated as well as it’s just been so weird that things keep coming back as normal yet we can’t get pregnant
