Hi all, desperately TTC after 2 miscarriages. Currently taking pregnacare vitamins, using preceed during DTD and tracking ovulation, so DTD at the right times. Am I missing something or did you do anything specific to conceive? Thanks! 🤩

Conceive plus lube!! We had sex once (I was out of the country around ovulation) and still fell pregnant vs every other month we tried without it and many more times/closer to ovulation date

OP, I’m sorry to hear about your miscarriages.

Conceive plus lube and FertiLILY, I cannot recommend them enough!
We were trying for months, ovulation tracker, test sticks the lot then I suddenly had a lightbulb moment realising the lube we were using occasionally might not have created a suitable environment for the sperm so switched to a conception friendly one.

Fertilily (boots, Holland and Barrett) worked for us but you could use any menstrual cup! Basically DTD and insert the cup after to trap the sperm.

No joke we only DTD once that month at the tail end of my ovulation window and immediately got pregnant. May have been a fluke but I swear by it now!

Op I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriages Flowers

When I was TTC I took just folic acid supplements, I tried pregnacare but it made me really sick.
I also took COQ10 and DHA. Both are said to improve egg quality and fertilisation.
DH also took vitamen from Zita West
We were trying for over a year and I fell pregnant within 3 months after taking these

Wishing you all the luck!

@KnittingKnewbie how long have you had acupuncture? Has it helped you? I’ve been looking into this also x

Sorry, didn't see this.
I have been pregnant 4 times. Each time we were TTC for about 8 months/cycles. Then after doing reflexology/acupuncture (depending on who/what was available locally) I got pregnant the next cycle. I know it could have been a case of the time being right but it happened every time!

Read It starts with the egg. It's fully research based and explains the various supplements that are helpful (and ones that aren't). Was quite an eye opener for me.
