Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in March 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of Feb to March! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

@catmumma84 oh that’s good to hear. Did the test reveal the thyroid issue to you or did you know about it?

yea we have said that we’re going to try for 6 months and then we will do tests. Because even people with mild fertility issues can conceive naturally, we wanted to give it a go first. This is our third month, so still a few more attempts and then we’ll get checked out. I’m 35, the internet would like me to think that all hope is gone but I am optimistic that I have time 😊

12DPO today, temp has dropped. Just compared my temps this month (the purple) with last month (the first month I tracked) and it follows the exact same pattern. The earlier raised temps was when I was ill. My lesson that I am taking into this is not to read into anything before 12DPO!

Said to my DH this morning that it’s like waiting to hear back from a job that you really want for two weeks every month.

Expecting my period to arrive on Friday, and then on to trying for a Christmas baby!

I had a horrendous night last night. It felt like someone had reached into my tummy and was twisting my insides, literally like excruciating period pains. So DH and I decided to test this morning instead of waiting until the weekend so we knew my period was late.

I had a BFP!!! So excited but also terrified that last night is just going to be a regular occurrence! 😂

@Riverstardust congratulations!! I love seeing people get their BFPs! 🩷 How many dpo are you?

Congratulations @Riverstardust that's great news. Hopefully the pains don't continue because that sounds pretty awful.

I would say my test this morning was a BFN but I think it may have had the squintiest of squinty shadows on it. I mean I'm not going to even bother posting a photo of it because I can't see it on a photo. I think I'm probably imagining something that's not there after looking at lines for too long and if it is there is something there it's probably an indent.

I’m still getting BFN’s and AF due Friday, but I’m hanging in there until she arrives!

@TTC1990 thank you! Definitely, you're not out until AF appears! I thought for sure I was out again this month!

Congrats @Riverstardust , what you described is how I also felt last night so I'm going to see it as a good sign! Hopefully it was a one off for you and the next nine months go smoothly.

@YorkshirePeridot thank you. I'm so sorry if you had that pain also, never had anything like it before! Keeping my fingers crossed it's a positive sign!!

This is exactly how I felt, I wore pads for 4 days so I could see really clearly the moment AF arrived and then hating the hope, was saying just want either a positive or AF to come so we can get on with trying again.

@TTC1990 Ive been testing every day since 10dpo with early tests and All BFN. I threw them all away immediately to stop me peaking and getting excited at evap lines. Then did one 16dpo which was negative but didn't throw away and saw a line post 10 mins. Tested again the following day and had the faintest line but didn't get darker until after the 5 mins so didn't believe it, so finally did the one I pictured on 18dpo and confirmed with a digital.

I knew they the levels were a bit high due to a blood test at the docs but didnt know at that time the range it should be in to conceive..! I wanted to know my AMH level tbh altho apparantly it doesn’t really mean all that much. I’m 31 and panicking but glad to hear you are chill 😃 best of luck !

my period still hasn’t come after the very very pale minimal spotting I had two days ago at 10pm (I think it was) but tested negative last night, feel like it’s too soon to test again tonight but who knows what the willpower will be like when I get in lol

Aahhh sounds like me 🙈 wore a pad all day yday and nothing. Risked it today, still nothing. What day did you get your IB? Sorry if I’ve got stories mixed up here!
i think it’s too early to test if the spotting at 10dpo was IB, now at 12dpo.
it’s nice to hear everyone else’s stories isn’t it, makes you feel slightly less crazy and alone!

@catmumma84 31! I live in London and you would practically be considered a teen mum round here :)

The fact that bleeding has stopped sounds really promising. See if you can at least hold out for first wee of the morning, more likely to show something that way.

Currently 9dpo, tested today but BFN (early I know).
I had HG with my first pregnancy ended up in hospital for dehydration. I have had all day nausea since yesterday, trying really hard not to be sick.
Can you get pregnancy symptoms before BFP?

Hi @ChristinaB1203 I have definitely heard of people who have bad sickness feeling nauseous before their BFP so could be a positive sign.

I think I am out. I'm 13DPO BFN this morning and then have been getting heavy feeling cramps which feel like AF might be just round the corner.

@PuddleJump same here! Had all the classic pre-AF signs yesterday. Cramps, sore boobs, then had a bit of pink when I wiped before I went to bed. Woken up this morning and they have all mostly gone now. Just wish she would arrive and release me from the TWW hell 😈

just found out my friend is pregnant, didn’t know she was trying or even really wanted children, obviously happy for her but it was a real shock to hear.
I caved and did a test - BFN two days before AF due, 13dpo

@catmumma84 ah I am sorry. I know you are genuinely happy for her but that doesn’t mean you can’t be a little sad/gutted for you at the same time. It will absolutely happen for you too, it’s just a bit of a lottery.

AF is def on way for me, the first glimpse of pink has arrived. Feeling pretty onwards and upwards about it all. Although I just remembered that I had scheduled a smear test for next week just in case I didn’t get pregnant, why does past me like to prank future me in this way 😅

I’m out! AF arrived today. We are giving April a break as my partner isn’t too keen on the idea of a Xmas baby, and to be honest I’m finding TTC a bit much! On to cycle 5 TTC in May!

When it was your first time coming off the pill (I've been on it since about 18) how long until you got your first period?

I did last month's period then didn't go back on it, I had a light bleed I think a couple of days after I'd have gone back on it for a day, needed pads

Currently now is when I'd be having my week off the pill and my period. I've had raging cramps earlier in the week (and I went on the pill in the first place because they were debilitating) and the usual headache (I'm headache prone) but usually I'd start my period on the Wednesday to Friday, but nothing as yet - if it doesn't appear while I'm at work is it worth picking up a test on the way home?

Or is my cycle just all over the place because it's used to being so regimented?

Only other possible symptom is I had what I consider elite crisps yesterday (chili sensations) and they tasted really weird, however I've also had chilli Doritos recently and they were fine so maybe the b**s have just changed the recipe - have another pack today to test

Nothing else really points towards it having worked, and I'm sure it's just slightly delayed later and I'll go to the loo and the bleed will be there.

I don't want to buy a test only to get an unreliable or negative, but kind of just want to know - although it's hard as technically it may not be late as it's my first time off the pill so this may be the new normal!

@Simplespell27 @Riverstardust congrats - lovely news! I have a few more days to wait as on embryo transfer tww. Today should be the first day of my period but progesterone stops it …. Official test date Tuesday not we decided to go for monday as ds and dh are off for a little trip Tuesday and I want a day to process results as a family with his support, either way.

I haven’t been too obsessed by it, but technically I am ‘pregnant till proven otherwise’ as I know there is an embryo in there, not waiting to see if egg has met sperm.
