Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in March 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of Feb to March! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

@catmumma84 yea I agree with @PuddleJump that unlikely to be coming on 6 days early. If it is implantation then I guess earliest you will test positive is in 2 days time (I think that's how HCG level works, but obvi I am not an expert!)

Best of luck I really hope at least one of us gets a BFP this week. Trying not to get my hopes up but I do feel very off today. But as always... could be for many reasons.

mumofone1111 · 18/03/2024 10:30

@catmumma84 fingers crossed for you! I just had that at 10dpo and now 11/12 dpo early full on bleeding (bled through my pyjamas last night)
Hopefully yours is implantation 🤞🏻

catmumma84 · 18/03/2024 10:38

Thanks all for your responses and support.. I’ll let you know how I get on and if it is just AF 😌 best of luck to everyone xxx

TTC1990 · 18/03/2024 12:03

Hi all, checking in. BFP today at 12dpo so feeling quite deflated. My partner isn’t keen on the idea of a Christmas baby, so the thought of waiting to May to even try again is rubbish!

I work as a family support worker and have just done a visit where the mum was pregnant again for her 7th time (accidental)…had to really hold it together and remain professional today. Why is it so early for some people!!

Rant over! Really hope to see some BFP’s from you all soon to keep the hope alive xx

catmumma84 · 18/03/2024 12:21

It’s so tough isn’t it, wish I had some reassuring words but can only really say we’re all in a similar situation of hope with you 😥

Confusedandtired90 · 18/03/2024 13:43

Hi guys!

Long time lurker, first time poster in this thread 🥰 everyone is so lovely and supportive. I really hope you all get your BFP asap!

I am SO confused about whether I’ve ovulated this month…

I had a positive OPK last week and scans leading up to this - including one the day before the positive OPK where the consultant thought it would only be a matter of hours but my body temp hasn’t risen? Whereas last month it did rise after postive OPK as it did in October when I got pregnant but then miscarried.

does anyone else not get a temp increase when they ovulate? I’m hoping that’s a thing 😵‍💫

PuddleJump · 18/03/2024 14:45

Hi @Confusedandtired90 👋 could it be something to do with how you took your temperature that could have thrown it off, like being poorly or drinking something before you took it?

Confusedandtired90 · 18/03/2024 15:07

I was a bit stressed last week so probs slept a bit less Monday to Thursday than I did over the weekend but no boozing and no illness?!

I use my Apple Watch for temping and it works a bit like an Oura in that it takes the temp every 10 seconds across the night so it wouldn’t have been affected by things like how quickly you read the temperature after you wake up. It can be a bit stressful this trying malarkey!

I've got bloods for PdG on the weekend so hopefully that will give some clues but I've been trying for so , so long and feeling really deflated

CoolSummer89 · 18/03/2024 17:27

How long have you been trying @TTC1990 ? I heard a fertility doctor on a podcast say that having a break every few months is actually a good thing. A bit of headspace and a reset. And if your partner isn't keen on xmas baby, then this might be the time to do it. Although as we say, you're not out until the red lady sings :)

CoolSummer89 · 18/03/2024 17:30

@Confusedandtired90 if your positive OPK was on Thurs 14th, then I reckon ovulation was on Fri or Sat. That corresponds with your EWCM as well. Usually Fertility Friend will want to see 3 raised temps before they confirm ovulation, so a bit early to confirm.

CoolSummer89 · 18/03/2024 17:33

After saying I won't test I have caved and bought the Boots early testing kits as I was waiting for the train today. Can't seem to shake the taste in my mouth and reading into it far too much!

catmumma84 · 18/03/2024 17:55

@CoolSummer89 good luck! I think my earlier spotting may just have been af early and feeling very defeated 😔

Simplespell27 · 18/03/2024 18:24

Well, here I was just yesterday getting a bit fed up, and had my BFP today! 18dpo and AF 4 days late before I got this fairly faint line (wish I'd known not to spend all that money on early tests!)

Confusedandtired90 · 18/03/2024 18:50

@Coolsummer89 Yeah, I didn't know if their rule on that was because if you haven't had 3 days + of increased temps you haven't ovulated at all?! Will wait and see what happens over the next few days.

Good luck with your early tests - will have everything crossed for you!

catmumma84 · 18/03/2024 19:13

That’s great congratulations! 🎉🎊 and so encouraging to know about your dpo! X

PuddleJump · 18/03/2024 21:16

@Simplespell27 ahh massive congratulations! Great news at 18DPO too

TTC1990 · 18/03/2024 21:23

Thank you @catmumma84 and @CoolSummer89 appreviste your kind words and advice! This is cycle 4 TTC no.2. Happened straight away last time so think that’s why I’m even more frustrated!

@Simplespell27 congratulations!! That’s why we should all follow the advice of it’s not over till AF arrives! Did you do any early tests? I wonder why it showed up so late! Regardless, huge congrats!!

LindyMoe · 18/03/2024 22:20

@Simplespell27 that's fantastic news! Congratulations!!!!!!

CoolSummer89 · 19/03/2024 07:24

BFN at 11DPO for me. Still feel a bit nauseous, but also very irritable this morning (DH didn't turn on dishwasher last night after filling it - end of the world!) so think AF is coming. This cycle has been a weird one so it would have been too good to be true in a way.

PuddleJump · 19/03/2024 08:28

BFN at 11DPO here too. My nausea seems to have settled down so might have just been some bug I picked up from my kids. Would explain the fatigue too. We're not out yet though!

catmumma84 · 19/03/2024 08:49

Still hope girls, @Simplespell27 got hers at 18dpo!
I’m not going to test until AF is ‘officially’ late. After my very mild spotting yday convinced myself AF was 6 days early (was about that many days late last week so maybe I’m evening out lol) but went to bed with a pad on last night and nothing so annoyingly still have some hope. Wish it would either just come or not come 🙈 hate this limbo. I feel AF-y though today so will see how today goes…!

CoolSummer89 · 19/03/2024 11:23

Yea I think I am going to join you @catmumma84 In the no testing pact! Had a big temp dip yesterday so thought I was out and it bumped up again today.

Fertility friend app tells me this is a ‘luteal dip’ that appears in both pregnancy and non-pregnancy charts but 80% more likely to happen in pregnancy charts.

So stupidly that got my hopes up and even more stupidly I told my DH. Who was like “lets not get our hopes up” so now I am sulking 😆

when is AF due for you? For me it’s Saturday

catmumma84 · 19/03/2024 11:46

@CoolSummer89 yeah I’m due Saturday too! It’s so cruel that all the symptoms crossover isn’t it. Just going to assume there’s going to be some blood soon again when I wipe so as to try not get my hopes up..! It’s only our first month of properly trying (last month dp was away so think we were late dtd) but it still hurts as you never know when the ‘end’ point will be …

CoolSummer89 · 19/03/2024 11:53

@catmumma84 not sure I know this, are you trying for your first? This my first one (although I did get pregnant once accidentally 10 years ago with a former partner) and I guess I also have the anxiety of “is everything working OK”. So just seeing a positive would be a relief!

catmumma84 · 19/03/2024 13:39

@CoolSummer89 Yes trying for our first too 🙏🏼I’ve been waiting a good few years until we’ve been in a stable position with house etc and dp is ready as he’s a little younger than me but I’ve been ready to be a mum for years so I’m super impatient now 🙈
have you done any private tests? I did a hertility one which told me my AMH is within range but low for my age and I had thyroid issues but these are much better now I’ve been on medication. Got another blood test Friday to see if they’ve gotten even better though - so fingers crossed. Might be worth looking into if you wanted 😊
