AF arrived today and I'm deflated

Mumsnet got me through ttc for baby No1 so excited to comeback for positive vibes for the next one.

DS is 4 so hoping to conceive this year

9dpo today for me, I've been feeling a bit nauseous yesterday and today. Also had a bit of a temperature last night with a mild headache. Not feeling 100% tbh, but these could still all be AF symptoms annoyingly, I'm due on Thursday but will be testing a couple of days early as DH will be away on my due date. Just hoping it's good news!

Has anyone become pregnant after drinking the day their ovulation / dtd? I’m out for a friend birthday and had several drinks and wondering now if I’ve made a really stupid mistake, I got peak ovulation Thursday evening and dtd and then yesterday (Friday) evening and now out for drinks. Hopefully ife not really effed things up if it was going well :( I just keep thinking of my friend who has her baby now and she was drinking whilst Ttc … 🙈

If you think about how many women in human history have gotten pregnant from 'a drunken night', I'm sure you'll be fine! Enjoy your night out.

I just have no clue what is happening with my cycle. Still on those bloody flashing smilies at CD17. Had a day of EWCM 2 days ago and now it’s dried up. Have I missed it? Feeling so frustrated now 😭

Prob work in your favour as you'll be more relaxed! Do not worry! I got pregnant in July 22, first month we started trying for baby no 2 and and we were in Portugal for my best friends wedding, we were there over ovulation we drank every day and it worked 👌 trying to channel those carefree ways so I can get pregnant again 😂

Same here lovely. Bang on time, gutted 😔 but hey ho on to the next!

I'm still in. I finally figured out how to do the OPKs and got peak yesterday. I've got a really good feeling about this month, ttc cycle 3.

I'm still in for March! 7dpo, AF due on 18 March. I've had some mild cramps today and been pretty moody/irrational. Got a bit tearful earlier because Tesco didn't have something I was looking for, but that could just be me🤣

@catmumma84 I don't think you should worry at all! Enjoy your night! A friend of mine found out she was pregnant about 10 days after 3 of us shared 7 bottles of wine in a night (not a usual occurrence for the avoidance of doubt). She had a very healthy, happy baby a few months ago xx

@catmumma84 I’m pretty sure alcohol is only an issue after implantation has happened.

@cado I’m 8-9dpo, caved and did a Premom test this morning and I got a line which looks exactly the same as yours, I didn’t think much of it because I read you can get false positives on those strip ones? But your post has given me hope, maybe I should go out and get a diff type of test?

I'm 8dpo, feel mild cramps and sore boobs, quite PMS-y but I never really get PMS usually so it's a bit weird, plus AF isn't due for another week. I was up quite a lot in the night feeling hot and crampy...Think I'll test on Wednesday or Thursday if I can hold out that long.
I really don't understand how my DH can be so chill about all this. I told him this morning and said 'do you think it could be...?' And he said 'Dunno, too early to tell, we'll know in a week' and went back to sleep 🤣

Your DH sounds exactly like mine, word for word this is what mine said to me! I also said I’d got a faint line on a test and he said “so what happens now? Will you do another one in a few days?” …. A few days!!!?? I’ll be testing every hour knowing me! Why are they so relaxed?

BFN for me this morning at 9dpo. On the early side so not tapping out for this cycle quite yet. But I've not had any out of the ordinary symptoms and I'm back to lower progesterone too according to Proov strips so I'd be surprised if I don't move over to the April group soon.

Can I join? I'm not hopeful because I've had so many months of BFN. I'm 42 and really thought I would have had DC3 by now but I think my age means my fertility is declining. I feel like these are my last months of hope. I'm not sure when AF is due because I got a new phone and my fertility app didn't copy over (Ggrrr) but I have a rough idea, next few days. I've no symptoms of anything. I did have an odd dream last night. I did have an odd dream the night before I found out I was pregnant with DD1, but not sure I could go by that 😆

13dpo for me and I finally have convincing BFPs! This is my wondfo but I’ve also got positive boots early, Superdrug early and clear blue early 😭 they’re all so much clearer in person! My partner can even see them and he never sees lines 😂

@Daisychain27 deffo try another brand of test. I also did a FRER and clear blue early detection digital and all positive ☺️

I'm still in for March, currently CD15, fertile period starts tomorrow with ovulation expected at the weekend. Been testing with OPKs and the numbers have been slowly increasing so am feeling positive!

My DH and I were quite disappointed we didn't conceive in Feb even though we said we would take a relaxed approach, son we're really trying this month!

Well AF has arrived today, the two positives I had must not have been meant to be! I’ll be over on the April thread there’s already a few jumped over from here. Hope to see as few of you as possible 😉 Good luck to you all ✨🌸

@RW269 i am sorry to hear that. They looked really promising tests. Just means you can excited about a festive baby now!

I’m also out this month- was pretty convinced I could be considering how supposedly more fertile you should be. I’ll be honest I was pretty devastated because seeing it start took me back to my mc so maybe I do need a bit more time to process, hoping for next month. Good luck to everyone xx

@Daisychain27 update from DH. 'if you are, that's great but I realllly hope it isn't multiple. Because that's terrifying'. So he's gone from 0-100mph in about 5 hours 🤣 haven't even tested yet!

Please can I join in? In my first cycle of ttc baby #2. Totally forgot how AWFUL the tww is!!! Actual torture. Currently 8dpo, and been testing the last 3 days like an absolute lunatic…. Obvs got BFNs!!!
I tested positive at 10dpo with my son back in 2021. I’m going to try and wait until af is due on 15th at least 💆‍♀️
So exciting seeing BFPs coming through for some of you already!!!
