Thought I’d make a new thread for those of us Ttc in March 2024. I know some of us will cross over from end of Feb to March! Wishing everyone all the luck ✨❤️

I'm 14DPO and a day late with AF, so naturally tested again but BFN. Sigh.

Hi all,

I’d love to join too! I’m ttc my second and definitely didn’t think it would be this hard. I had my first ds 12 years ago without any planning etc but this time around it’s been a struggle, maybe I’m just being hard on myself.

We actively started trying in November, had a chemical in December and resumed trying in January, I’m now on CD5 of our third cycle. My cycles are pretty regular, between 27-30 days so I can’t pinpoint why we haven’t conceived yet.

I’ve cut out coffee, alcohol etc, taken my vitamins, tried to reduce stress, tracked ovulation and dtd at the right times. It’s so frustrating!

For reference I’m 33.

@holdmydrinks i’m sorry about your BFN… at least you may also be in sync with us all so we can all be in this together but it’s still not the outcome you wanted

@Dogscanlookup and @waltzingintomonday really helpful advice regarding the cb opk’s - I will keep testing! Did another one this eve and it’s still flashing so I will keep going 🤞🏻.

Who is still in for March?! Depending when I ovulate I’m hoping to test some point 18th March onwards…xx

Haven't got my usual spotting yet, I always get it on 10/11dpo! I'm 11dpo today and nothing but testing negative. Altho I didn't track this cycle as we have the treatment planned for next cycle and I remember I had EWCM twice this cycle so possibly i ovulated later 🤷‍♀️ this TTC really goes to your head! My husband getting so frustrated too

@Suburbandreams welcome! I’m similar to you. Conceived my first almost straight away and now cycle 4 of TTC no. 2, I am also 33. Wondering if age is contributing? Feeling frustrated too, but keep thinking it’s just GOT to happen soon!

im personally just baffled, did another test this evening. The faintest of faint lines, after yesterdays stronger looking test I’m worried this isn’t going to go in the right direction but here’s hoping only time will tell 🤞🤞🤞

My period arrived this morning bang on time so I’m definitely out this time ☹️. Would any of the ladies getting positives this month kindly share how many cycles it’s taken them? April will be cycle 3 for us so I’m hoping you can give me some hope!

I’m definitely up for an April thread, roll on those Christmas babies! Hope to see as few of you on there as possible 🤪.

im cycle three at the moment, I personally know two couples who are pregnant at the moment, one of them took 2 months one took 6 months so try not to worry too much! ☺️ we will all get there 🤞✨

This was cycle 2 for us, first baby, feeling extremely lucky and still waiting for it to sink in.

@RW269 @CadoAvo thank you! I only ever seem to hear people who fell pregnant first go or took years, so it’s good to hear the in between ones.

i took conceived second month with my daughter at 31, 4th month with second pregnancy and 1st month with last. This was our forth cycle this time so it’s taken us longest this round! But my body has been through a lot in the last year and 35 next Saturday.

moving over to the other group now… congrats again to all the BFPS 💜

I’ll be sticking round this one for another couple of weeks, but will most likely see some of you in the festive baby thread. Hopefully not! 🤞🏻

Who is still in for this month?

I’m CD17 and STILL getting that flashing smiley…it’s costing me a fortune now!

It’s a negative on a clearblue early test for me at 10DPO today. I know there’s still a small chance but I really do feel like AF is just around the corner. I’ll stick around here to see how you all get on🤞and then move to the April thread.

My partner is a Christmas baby so it’d be cool if we managed to conceive and they shared a birthday.

Please can you share your TTC tips? At the moment I’m eating well, trying to reduce alcohol (like just one or two drinks on a Saturday) and we’re using the SMEP. I’m taking folic acid and omegas. Is there anything else I should be doing that’s important?

My partner loves his baths and has one every night. Should he cut down or is that and old wives tale? Thanks 😊

BFN today at 12dpo! Stupidly can't lose hope as my dpo is based off an app which said I ovulated on CD14 when my cycles tend to be 30-32 days long. Also didn't realise my cheapies are the 25mlu of hgc rather than 10! No doubt be very disappointed when AF shows herself next week on Tuesday or Wednesday but will see people in the April chat for Xmas babies 😊

@Dogscanlookup to add to above I was lucky enough to convince my first cycle one, but know a couple that took 6 months, one that took 12 and one that took 3. Really is look of the draw!

@LK2610 here’s hoping it could still be your month! If not a December double birthday for you could be lovely!

my husbands the same he has long hot baths probably for like 45 mins to an hour but we researched and that can lower the quality of sperm apparently though it was quite a lot of places saying that so he’s (reluctantly) cut down to two long baths and showers the rest of the nights in hope it helps 😂

Thanks @RW269 I'll try to persuade him to cut down. It's how he de-stresses (or having a beer) so I feel bad asking him to give up all of his de stressors 😂

Trying so hard not to symptom spot. Today is 9dpo, decided not to test until tomorrow but just burst into tears watching Crufts because I just love dogs so much - although I wouldn't put that past me on any day!

Me too @SummerSun24 , BFN today on a Clearblue Ultra Early, 12DPO. AF due on Monday (the day we go on holiday - hoping that’ll take my mind off TTC!).

I'm still in for March. 8dpo today with AF due on Thursday. Got a positive progesterone test this morning after two days of negative ones so that's reassured me I did ovulate this month. Standard, mild, pms-ey symptoms but nothing out of the ordinary. I think I'll try to hold out till Monday to test but might do tomorrow.

Hopefully some of you can understand this better than I can.

I thought BBT stayed up until a few days before your period? And that you needed 3 increases in temperature to prove ovulation. Does that mean I haven't ovulated this month? 😟😔

I've just posted on the March-April TTC post as I think I'm out for this month but thought I would post here as well to see if anyone has had similar experience and resulted in BFP

I had a big dip 7dpo (35.74) it went to 36.02 the next day and today it went up again to 36.09.
Has anyone had a big dip and then increased gradually and got BFP ?
