So i did a cheapy this morning. Negative. Going to go out and get a FRER (saved the wee in those little pots lol). Just wanted to check - does anyone know if HCG is still stable and doesnt oxidise within a few hours? Cant get a FRER until about 1pm...

@Chaz693 CONGRATULATIONS!! So pleased for you. Nothing better than that joy and relief at another positive!

@Dogscanlookup is there any chance you can go back to your GP with the Proov results and ask for investigation/progesterone? I think I have read that Proov is on some of the nice guidelines so is an official test that should be taken seriously. Sorry you’re having rubbish luck with the doctors!

@Chaz693 yay congrats!! 🙌 also continue taking your TTC supplements and when they run out you can change over, not he much difference in them anyway!

@Dogscanlookup would it be a case of your GP doesn't know much around this area so is reluctant to prescribe because that's what mine is like! I ended up paying privately to get progesterone prescription after 2 miscarriages at 8/9 weeks respectively. My gp wouldn't prescribe it as didn't know enough about it!

Due to test on Sunday when I will be 11/12 DPO. I've had absolutely no symtpoms...could I still get a BFP with no sign of symptoms? 😅

Absolutely! With my first pregnancy I had zero symptoms and tested negative until 12dpo when I had the faintest positive ever and I have a nearly 3 year old to show for it 🥰

@Daisychain27 thank you, really hoping this is a good sign for you! This is what I’m wondering, even if I’m conceiving it’s not having a chance to implant. I’ve got progesterone to take when I’m pregnant but I can’t sodding get pregnant?!

@Daniki so the reason GPs or consultants don’t like giving progesterone is because it’s not free on the NHS, it costs them. So they’re reluctant. I spoke to gynae two months ago after scans and he said he couldn’t give me progesterone as it would stop me getting pregnant?! I was so confused as I’ve heard so many women take it after ovulation to help.

@Dogscanlookup yes it's a tricky one, I am in the same boat. I have low progesterone but have not been able to get pregnant since my last miscarriage in nov 22. I have progesterone to take from the minute I get a BFP 🙈 I did go two cycles of taking it from 3dpo-10dpo to see if it worked but nothing! That is the protocol for some fertility treatments, and makes sense to try and boost it! I also done 4 cycles of letrozole to stimulate ovulation (I'm sure I do but anyway) and it didn't work for but might be worthwhile asking for you? We need progesterone to ovulate so that might help? If AF comes this week then I have to start tamoxifen and we will be doing follicle tracking and trigger shot x

Oh no… I’ve got myself in a spin. Did a test this morning cause I’ve been feeling sick. Left it a couple minutes and nothing.. just actually read the box and you’re meant to wait 5 mins not 3 so I went back to look and it’s like this…do these pink ones get evap lines? I’ve been drinking loads of water the last couple hours cause I felt so sick so part of me doesn’t want to take another one now cause it’ll likely be negative with how much I’ve drank 😐 I’ve got the fear 😂

What tests are they? I've never known a test to show an evap that dark before. Fingerscrossed for you. X

@Chaz693 it’s the Wondfo ones from Amazon, little pink dip strips, oh heck I’m so nervous to get my hopes up! I’ve got one first response one left but I might hold off and wait for the morning first pee! 😫

@RW269 if you can hold off I would. But you're stronger than me! My line on my first response last night was super faint and made me nervous but this mornings one was much more obvious! X I've got my fingers crossed for you. Xx maybe wait till this evening and if you have any more wondfo tests take one of them after a long hold. X

@Daniki ah sorry you’ve been in this situation so long! Yeah I’m going to speak to doctors and see what they suggest. My proov app suggests that I did ovulate but maybe not so great egg quality hence the progesterone dip. When are you testing this month?

@RW269 this was me last night when the first response turned up and I'd only managed to do a 2 hour hold lol 😂 I have no willpower x

@Chaz693 I just did one now and I knew it wouldn’t show anything, 2 hour hold and about 3 pints of water being drank 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 don’t know why I did it to myself hahaha! I’m gonna pop out tonight when my partners home and get some more first response tests 🤞

ARGH the pharmacy has no FRER!!!! Ive been to three. So today's test is below. I think I am pregnant? Too scared to let it be real. This was taken 4 min of POS so cant be an evap can it?? Or is 4 min enough time for an EVAP?

@RW269 defo looks promising to me! I’ve never had an indent on wondfo! And the last time I was pregnant (ended in ectopic) I tried every brand under the sun and wondfo always showed first and had darker lines than even frer and boots early ones!

@Jess1997 ooo that’s exciting!! Nice to hear from someone who has used the same ones! I’ve just taken one which was negative but I’m trying not to let that get me down haha! I’m going to retest later/tomorrow so fingers crossed!

@Dogscanlookup I've just started on the Proov PDG tests today and it does say anything other than first morning urine can lead to inaccurate results so could be what's thrown it off after three high days if those were all fmu.

@Needydoubleline Fingers crossed for you! Sounds sensible to wait a few days given cycle might not have fully settled following surgery. Doctor has said we're good to try for 6months whilst I'm on the waitlist for surgery to get mine out along with some fibroids. I am equally nervous about having issues if I get pregnant before surgery but equally nervous about waiting till after😅

@Daisychain27 yay twins! Hopefully you managed to catch ovulation - my Flo app is always way off to premom but I've been using the clearblue ovulation tests and pretty sure I ovulated day 18 (last Saturday). When is AF due for you?
We were, by chance, away for the three days before, ovulation day, and the day after so we turned it into a weekend of BD-ing...🤣 We need to move out of our house for a few weeks next cycle so we can get it rewired and will be living with the in-laws, so wanted to make the most of our change this month before the fun stops for a cycle!
