11DPO - is this a squinter?😬

Hi everyone - I’m quite new to this game so would love some help if possible!
I’m 11DPO this morning and took this test (it’s a 10mIU test from Amazon). This is the test after 5 mins.
Is this a squinter or am I getting false hope? Can I test again this evening if I hold my pee a few hours?

@elle123355 my friend bleed on and off until 3rd trimester and the pregnancy was totally healthy. Lines getting darker is amazing, can you call epu and ask? Xx

I'm just very paranoid and nervous at the moment, I don't want to lose this baby

@Impatient1987 yes if only it was as easy as to stop the testing hey 🫣😩 the temptation is all too much when we’re in this position even though we know it does us no good! Thankyou I really hope it’s standard bleeding too. It does seem to have stopped this evening which isn’t what’s normal for me with af but who bloody knows right now 🤣 thankyou so so much 💕

@Fingerscrossed88 yeah I guess going through that would make you a little bit nervous going forward but like you say the silver lining is that you know you are able to conceive which is the most important part of the journey. I hope February is the month for you 🤞 sending baby dust to you 💕

@Sbella13 Have you done any pregnancy tests today? How is it looking now?

@Rose38 i have tested today and it’s very faint again. Probably the same as yesterday. I know I shouldn’t have but it’s hard not to in this situation 🫣 just had the tiniest amount of brown/rust coloured blood on wiping which I would assume is old blood due to the colour?

The chemical pregnancy I just had I tested positive on Friday and then by Sunday afternoon, my test was negative. But then I was bleeding from Saturday so it didn't come as a surprise to me by then.

Can the doctor do a blood test for you?

You know I never worried about losing the baby in my prior pregnancies for my kids #1 & #2. But now as I am older I seem to keep thinking about it constantly. Women have it so hard...it's not even just about getting pregnant..it's now also about the pregnancy making it to the end. Makes me sad that it's all so complicated.

@Rose38 I’ve not had a chemical before but the way you describe yours is what I would imagine to happen. Mine hasn’t been like that as we can see from the tests. They’ve been faint for roughly 2 weeks now and then the bleeding came on about 3/4 days after I would have expected my period but weirdly the tests are still faint?? Doesn’t feel like a regular period to me either so who knows. Trying not to get my hopes up but also trying not to rule out that it’s gone. It’s a hard one that’s for sure!

I couldn’t agree with you more. It’s not easy in the slightest and until you start ttc, wanting it so badly etc that you realise just how complicated it is 😢 Nobody understands until they’re in this situation I don’t think. Bless you hope your time is coming very soon too 🤞💕

I'm doing good! 5w6 today. Not a lot of symptoms, just very tired at the weekend past and sore boobs still. Waiting for nausea to hit soon 🙈 going to get an early scan about 8/9 weeks if all is still going well.

I’m assuming I must have miscarried because my tests are pretty much negative now. I did only bleed for 3 days, no way near as heavy as I’d imagine a miscarriage to feel and no pain but it’s the only explanation. Onwards for February for myself 🤞

I ended up having an ectopic pregnancy, I needed surgery to take the pregnancy out. I had my right tube taken out😣 I'm a week post op so I'm healing okay

How is everyone else doing in this thread?

I got bad news too - went in for a scan yesterday (7+2) as I had some light spotting last weekend. We were told the baby stopped developing at 5+3 so they said I would be having a miscarriage in the next two weeks. Sure enough this morning it started. Intense cramps and heavy bleeding. So that's me out again x

I'm currently in Canada on holidays. Due for AF on Monday but seem to be having pregnancy symptoms. Previous couple of times I tested positive a few days before AF so waiting to closer to the time to test.

How is everyone else doing?

Bad news to report here too I’m afraid. I started spotting on Tuesday and went to hospital yesterday where I had a scan and blood test. Scan showed gestational sac but nothing inside 😢 doctor couldn’t get a good look at it though. I should be 8 weeks this weekend. I am back in hospital tomorrow for another scan and blood test and then will hopefully know more. But my gut tells me the news is not good 😢😢

@Rose38 im back in my two week wait. Coming towards the end so should know by this time next week. Not having the same symptoms I had last month so not feeling too hopeful but you never know. Hope it’s good news for you this time and I agree it’s much better to hold off on testing for now x

Sadly I started my periods today so definitely not pregnant. Might be for the best anyway as I fly back to the UK tomorrow.
