@hermionelodge same here, 8/9dpo obviously it was negative 🤦‍♀️

Don’t want to post any Traitors spoilers in here but we are having a final episode viewing party (complete with fizzy rosé) on Friday, which is getting me through the week!

@Hannah156 that definitely looks positive!!

hermionelodge · 25/01/2024 09:35

@Hannah156 that looks really promising! Very exciting

@robinmarl it's so hard not to though isn't it. Just so desperate for it now. I kind of really felt like this was the month too so I'm really going to be even more disappointed. Oh wow the final already, I didn't realise! That sounds lovely though and something to look forward to 😀

robinmarl · 25/01/2024 09:40

@hermionelodge true, you’re not out til you’re out though so fingers crossed for us both 🤞🏼

Just laughing to myself remembering last week when my husband asked me, two days after we had sex, whether it was time to take a pregnancy test? Man has a masters and a degree in Biology ffs 😂🤦‍♀️

AnnieStar12 · 25/01/2024 10:24

Congrats @Hannah156 - doesn't look like you need to confirm with a digital, as that is a clear BFP!

I am now 8 DPO, did a test last night (I know it's totally mad, but people on this thread will understand lol!) It looked negative so went to sleep but left it by side of my bed - when I woke up I saw the vvvv faintest line on there. Got excited, but tested again this morning and nothing - today's test is stark white :(

I know people will say it doesn't count and it's dry but it's stupidly given me a bit of hope as I have never got an evap line on these tests before and I've been using them for 11 cycles of TTC now. I've had two miscarriages in that time and both times I got pregnant they started out with vvvv faint lines that only showed when dry (although those were both at 10DPO not this early).

It's gonna be hard to stay sane over the next few days, I don't think AF is actually due until Tuesday/Wednesday.

RedRobyn2021 · 25/01/2024 13:31

Congratulations @Hannah156 that's wonderful

I done similar, testing this morning on a regular test! Knowing fine well nothing would should up! Just couldn't help myself! Sorry to hear of your previous losses. I'm due around weds as well. Hoping the faint line for you is a good sign.

I'm now going down the super obsessive route of checking my resting heart rate constantly 🙃 its increased by about 12bpm. Has stayed consistently like that all day. I don't even know if that would happen this early on. Its probably raised because I keep anxiously checking it haha! Honestly ttc messes with your head!!

I've a busy weekend ahead so hoping I can try and take my mind off it until Monday, then only a few days to see if AF comes or not. I usually get spotting a day or two before so should have my answer by Sunday really!

AnnieStar12 · 25/01/2024 16:21

@hermionelodge I didn't even know checking your heart rate was a thing!

It's so hard to stay sane during this TWW. I did another test just now and it's totally negative so think that faint line might have to be ignored given I only saw it about 10 hours after doing the test.

All we can do is keep busy and distracted as it is just a waiting game!

I only noticed it in my last pregnancy and then was obsessed until my 12 week scan as I had bleeds etc, if it ever dropped I was like well that's it...! Not a good thing to obsess over.

Aw, well still very early so fingers crossed for you!

I was just thinking, I have a burns dinner dance this weekend, I'm not drinking anyway but was thinking about the haggis as its Vit A! But surely will be OK to wat one meal with it so early on if I have been lucky!

Hannah156 · 25/01/2024 17:24

Thanks everyone ❤️❤️❤️ got my 'proper' bfp this evening and in slight disbelief, as is my dh. Been so helpful having you all to share with in the TWW. How is everyone doing?

9DPO anyone else waiting?

I’m so pleased to see this ❤️ I was worried test that the dreaded CB early evaps were striking again as they had really messed me up previously. Congratulations Flowers

Hannah156 · 25/01/2024 17:44

I know, it freaked me out seeing how many that had happened to! Thanks so much xx

SMD16 · 25/01/2024 19:15

@Hannah156 massive congratulation 🥳🥳

@hermionelodge do you track your resting heart rate on an app? Mines tracked through my Fitbit.. screenshot attached. Ovulation 16/01. I'm 9DPO now and praying it's a sign

9DPO anyone else waiting?
hermionelodge · 25/01/2024 20:46

@SMD16 I haven't been tracking on an app, just looking at my watch face constantly! Will need to look into that. Yours looks like big spikes, a good sign! Hope you get a BFP soon !

SMD16 · 27/01/2024 14:22

@hermionelodge sorry missed your reply, it's coming down again, who knows! Just have to wait and see.

How are you getting on?

hermionelodge · 27/01/2024 14:56

@SMD16 thats ok. My hr is similar. Its all over the place. Well I took a 25mIu test this morning and not even a hint of a line! Feeling so deflated! I really was sure this was the month, the past 3 days I've had bleeding gums and gagging when brushing my teeth, that was a symptom of my last pregnancy! Boobs still sore, and been feeling sick. But I would have thought even a faint line would have shown on a sensitive test today.

How are you getting on?

RedRobyn2021 · 27/01/2024 16:14

AF has finally arrived! On to next month finally for me

Congratulations @Hannah156 I hope I can join you next month :-)

SMD16 · 27/01/2024 16:15

@hermionelodge have you got any more sensitive tests at all? My gums have been horrendous too out of nowhere, had the same last pregnancy.

Was negative Friday on a 10mlu test at 10 DPO, not testing now until Tuesday just because it's my little girls birthday Monday and her party tomorrow so focusing on that and don't want a negative clouding over me. X

hermionelodge · 27/01/2024 17:00

@SMD16 I did buy another one today when out. I'm going to try and hold of using it though for a couple more days. Unless AF arrives. Quite crampy today so keep thinking the spotting is about to come, I always spot 2/3 days before AF! So annoying. The gums thing does seem like a good sing, fingers crossed for us!

Thats good you have some distractions, will definitely help occupy your mind. Hope your DD has a lovely birthday and party ✨️ X

Hannah156 · 27/01/2024 17:45

@RedRobyn2021 Thank you! I hope so too!! Sending you all the baby dust xx ❤️

4LeafCloverBaby · 27/01/2024 18:16

Finally took my test…

onethingonly · 27/01/2024 18:52

@4LeafCloverBaby .... don't leave us in suspense!

@RedRobyn2021 I'm out as of today too 😢

4LeafCloverBaby · 27/01/2024 18:55

@onethingonly oh shoot I honestly thought I attached the picture! What an idiot 🤦🏻‍♀️ sorry, I’m pregnant!!

FantasticalCat · 27/01/2024 19:23

After being 100% convinced I was out this month, I tested last night after work and was absolutely shocked to get a bloody huge BFP!

I had planned to do SMEP this month but we’ve had quite a stressful time of it as my husbands mum has Alzheimer’s so we’ve just not been in the mood to DTD as much as we’d need to. In the end we DTD the day after my LH peak and 2 days after that…and here we are!

9DPO anyone else waiting?
Hannah156 · 27/01/2024 19:39

Congratulations @FantasticalCat and @4LeafCloverBaby!! How exciting!!

I've just done a cheapy pink dye test after my positive digital two days ago as I wanted to see how dark the line was and it is realllly faint. This has worried me a bit as I'm 14dpo and thought it would be darker by now. Could it be because my urine is too diluted? I honestly expected a darker line at this point.

9DPO anyone else waiting?
AnnieStar12 · 27/01/2024 19:46

Congrats @4LeafCloverBaby and @FantasticalCat can I ask how many DPO you both are? Those are both solid positives, wow!

I got another negative today so I’m almost certainly out this month as I feel it would have shown faint line by now. But AF not due for a few more days..

@Hannah156 these tests are very effected by how diluted your urine is in these early days. The advice is always to wait 48 hours and test again as you should see progression over that time as HCG levels every 2 days. If you test too close together you may see variation which will cause more stress.
