Anyone else in their fertile window?

Just checking if anyone else around CD13 wants to join this thread? Was nice to have a group going last cycle.
I just entered my fertile window today. OPKs says I haven't ovulated yet but they're getting darker every day ☺️

@Bb542 - well I’ve had nothing else blood wise just CM … so literally no idea now 🤷‍♀️ - I will do another test in the morning as if it was implantation it should in theory give me a positive. Will keep you posted. And urgh hate indents! Hopefully you will get a BFP soon :)

It takes a few days for hgc to build up in your system so you’ll test negative in all likelihood if you only implanted yesterday.

Bb542 · 26/01/2024 20:17

@Mum37of4 it could be implantation as it may be too early for your period, keep us updated 🤞🏼

My easy @ home test from early has the biggest indent ever 🤦🏻‍♀️ its so easy to see but definitely an indent as it came up way after time frame and its skinny 🙈

Looks like mine yesterday was a nasty evap line :( tests today are negative. I did a couple and if I absolutely make myself I can see shadows on them but my experience of testing this time around is that loads of tests now have a shadow. 8dpo.

The next two days are big ones but I’m not feeling it. Symptoms all gone just feel like I always do at this time of the month.

Applesandcake · 27/01/2024 07:42

I’ve now got a horrid evap on the boots early test! Outside of the time frame so I’m entirely disregarding it but how cruel are these tests?! With my first 2 children all tests were either stark white (even after the timeframe) or even the faintest line turned into pregnancies, but the past two months I’ve had so many evaps! Have tests just become more rubbish!?!

I see the line 👀 how long after the time frame did it appear? I agree, so many evaps on all different brands of tests 😭 it's still sooo early though so don't lose hope.

I just tested, I think I see a squinter but not sure. Going to wait for it to fully dry before making my mind up. It could be my eyes playing tricks on me 🙈

Ohhh what test brand did you use??

I thought I saw a shadow in the time frame and then maybe… 40 minutes later? I’ve goggles it, of course, and have found quite a few people saying that they develop bad evaps after the time frame.

Assuming I am out this month, I really don’t know what to do for the next three cycles. We were going to skip next month as the due date with be my sons birthday, I’m normally early though, but my daughters birthday is 12 days before my sons, so we’d have three birthdays in 12 days probably! But I’ve just realised that over the next three months…

feb - due date my sons birthday
mar - would make me 8 weeks when I have to attend a big important work conference 6 hours drive away, I get HG and if it’s like there last two times would be bedridden by then and absolutely have to cancel.
apr - just realised that my fertile window will fall exactly over the 5 days my partner is away 😭

So if I were being sensible we wouldn’t ttc again until May’s cycle……. But that feels awful! I’m now wondering if I just got f it and ttc the next two months and what will be will be.

JunkJane · 27/01/2024 09:34

It's 9dpo for me today which was the day I told myself (and all of you 😅) I would start testing, so naturally I tested last night 🤣 negative yesterday and today, but historically I have had vvvvvfl on 10dpo. So 9dpo was always meant to be my control to compare the next few days tests against. Just got caught up in the excitement of this thread to jump the gun and test last night 🥰

Bb542 · 27/01/2024 09:43

@Applesandcake don't assume you're out just yet. It's only 8dpo so still so early. I'd give it another 2 days at least. If it's not this month I would say keep trying. I have a birthday really close to one of my siblings and I love it 🥰

I did 3 tests this morning... a cheapie Amazon 10mlu, a pre mom 10mlu and a boots. I can see a line on the Premom one and it came up within the timeframe I think, maybe shortly after. I also think I see a squinter on the boots but can't a good pic. I'm scared to get excited... 😬

I think maybe it's an indent... I just don't know what to think...

My first two have the same birthday. It honestly isn't a massive deal in reality and would be the same if you ended up having twins anyway. Also, even if the due date is the same, the due window is 5 weeks (37-42 weeks), so they could have birthdays separated by a few weeks in any case.

Bb542 · 27/01/2024 10:11

Now I have this on an easy @ home. My last one of this brand. 😭😭😭 is it an evap too??

This looks very positive to me! Pre the last few months I’d be saying it’s definitively the start of something, but after having so many evaps myself, I’m more wary, but it’s definitively promising!

This is what I’m thinking. My DD is end of Oct, 12 days later is my DS. So we’d have three all very close together birthday wise but the more I think about it, the more I don’t want to wait… especially if we 💯 can’t try in April.

Thanks girls. I'm super nervous and trying not to get excited/nervous 🙈 I have in the back of my head that it's an indent so will test again in the morning and see. It's still only 8dpo so I feel like the line could be too much for 8dpo and that it's an indent 🤔

OP posts:
JunkJane · 27/01/2024 12:59

@Bb542 I'm using the premom tests as well and have to say yours has definitely more of a shadow than my stark white test. And with the line on at the easy@home I think you are well on your way to darkening lines soon 😊 premature congratulations 🥰

You could be 9dpo though as you had a positive the day before you peak. Maybe you ovulated the day of your peak.

Bb542 · 27/01/2024 14:03

Thanks gals. I've just gone for a walk with DP. We're not going to get excited yet, will test again tomorrow and see if it shows again. I ordered more easy @ home tests and they arrive tomorrow. So can only test with Amazon cheapies and Premom tomorrow.

9dpo/10dpo is still so early so there is still hope for everyone xx

I just did another pre-mom test after a 4 hour hold. The line came up straight away 🙈 I am in shock.... 😨

I don't have any more tests so I think I'm going to run to boots and get some more... I am in denial 😭

Bb542 · 27/01/2024 17:31

Thanks so much. Think we did it 2-3 times during fertile window and once on peak day. But still early days, still don't believe it's not an indent.

Don't lose hope yet. It's still super early. 9-11dpo is key I think. How are you feeling? When will you test again?

OP posts:
Applesandcake · 28/01/2024 06:54

Negative at 9dpo. I know this is early but my last two pregnancy I always had a positive by now on an early test and I don’t feel pregnant at all, so I’m thinking I’m out.

Now to decide, do I miss the next three cycles and start afresh in May, or just keep going regardless of the bad timing over the next two months (as have to miss April regardless as DH away). Will let the disappointment settle and then decide. Head says wait, heart says don’t!

This is now officially the longest it’s ever taken my to get pregnant, which I realise is super luck as it’s only cycle 2, but still feels like an annoying milestone!

I'm sorry @Applesandcake 😭 I know people will say you're not out until AF arrives, which is true, but I know you know your own body. I would say keep trying and deal with whatever the consequences are afterwards.
