Just checking if anyone else around CD13 wants to join this thread? Was nice to have a group going last cycle.
I just entered my fertile window today. OPKs says I haven't ovulated yet but they're getting darker every day ☺️

Those symptoms sound promising @Applesandcake. Apart from bloating and some tiredness on Sunday, I feel totally normal, so not much symptom spotting going on here 🤣

We're 4DPO now so by the end of the working week we can start thinking about testing 😊

Hey, still too early for me to have BFP - but noticed my mood swings are awful atm! Deffo not AF as not due that for another 9 days! - but the thing is before I even knew I was pregnant with my youngest my EX husband knew I was by my mood!!

Oh really? That's really interesting. How many dpo are you?

Really hoping I am so I can explain away this GIANT spot which has just reared its head 🤣🤣 6 dpo for me and no other symptoms! Did a test this morning which was obviously negative, why did I bother 🤪

Oh I know, I've a few spots now too which are quite sore but my skin has been quite bad the last few months anyway so probably can't put it down to being pregnant.
Will you keep testing every day?

That’s what I keep saying, just get through the working week. Just focus on Saturday rather than focusing on how many dpo I am. I will test on Saturday at 8dpo. No point testing any sooner so it’s just a waste of money. Will you test on Saturday too now?

I’m finding it comparatively easier than over Christmas last month when I had time off work! Easier to at least have the routine if the day and work to distract.

Bb542 · 23/01/2024 18:52

Exactly! Let's focus on getting ti Saturday rather than counting how many dpo we are. Great plan!

I'm telling myself I won't test on Saturday but I probably will 😂 although having said that, I don't have any early tests so will need to buy some. Have you got any early ones or are you using normal ones?

@Bb542 - I actually don’t know as not sure when I ovulated, LH levels elevated on blood test last Monday and suffered cramping Tue and Wed which I think could have been ovulation 🤷‍♀️ - so maybe 6/7dpo possibly. I’m going to test Friday anyways and if BFN then will just wait and see if AF arrives.

I have some early easy at home (10mlu) ones and some boots wary detection ones (10mlu).

I keep reading terrible reviews about how the FRER tests are no longer as sensitive as they say they are, so haven’t bothered with them this cycle. Which ones will you get?

JunkJane · 23/01/2024 21:58

5DPO for me today. I have also had twinges lower right side, but I also usually have random twinges so I won't ready too much into that. Definitely been super emotional and sensitive the last 24 hours which is unlike me. I love and hate how every pregnancy symptom is also not a pregnancy symptom 🤣

4 more days until test day ❤️

Bb542 · 23/01/2024 23:21

@Applesandcake they actually have stopped selling FRER where I am. You can't buy them anywhere. Think it's because of how inaccurate they are 🤔. I just ordered two boots early tests tonight. Will take one at 9dpo and 10dpo I think 🤔 then I'll just use whatever easy @ home ones I have left from last cycle. Do easy @ home do early ones?

@JunkJane hopefully these are really positive signs.

Glad we're on this journey together 🥰

I’ve never used easy @ home before, but I had it in my mind that they come in either a 10mlu version (early) or a 25mlu version. I bought the 10mlu one.

You can’t buy them here in shops either anymore, only on Amazon/eBay etc.

Applesandcake · 24/01/2024 07:21

I’m not feeling positive about this cycle. I know that means nothing, but what with not being able to dtd as much as I would have wanted and then having a really nasty virus from the day I got my peak and all over ovulation, I just don’t feel like my body will have sent the messages that this is a good time to get pregnant! I’m still fighting off the end of the virus now, so it just all seems extra unlikely.

3 more days and I will start testing every day until 11dpo… after that I stopped last month as I was wasting tests and with my first two had positives on 8 and 9dpo. I know each pregnancy is different but if it’s still negative at 10dpo, I begin to accept it’s over (and then happy to be proven wrong!)

Confusedddddddd · 24/01/2024 07:43

@Applesandcake you're very similar to me.both thinking this month isn't the month and resting early then stopping. I also usually test 8-10 dpo then stop.

This month though I haven't bought any tests and I have non sensitives left. I'll see if it helps me feel any less disappointed when AF comes.

Yeah, I know some don’t get tests until 12dpo or even later, and if late implantation happens that would make sense, but given I’ve always had early positives, I just can’t imagine I wouldn’t again if I were pregnant!

Both desperate to test and dreading it to be honest. The sinking disappointment even last month was unpleasant and that was our 1st cycle trying!

Confusedddddddd · 24/01/2024 08:53

@Applesandcake there was a study that showed that embryos that implant after 12dpo generally result in chemicals anyway, which is why I stop testing at 10dpo.
Ah I'm on my 7th cycle now. With my first it took 6 cycles, second was first cycle/accidental but was ectopic. Fingers cross for you it's positive.
I'm just trying g to keep busy, and not having any tests at home is helping ( I have some digitals but I know they won't test positive at this stage anyway)

That makes so much sense. I was going to say that the only exception to my getting early results was when I had an unplanned pregnancy last spring. I didn’t get a test until about day 13 or 14 dpo. It ended in an early miscarriage at 5 weeks. I always have wondered if the fact I didn’t get an early test was linked (I’d been testing early as although unplanned I knew there was a chance, as we’d dtd what I thought was 7 days before O, but then I showed signs of ovulating 2 days early)

Bb542 · 24/01/2024 14:18

5dpo today, having some weird twinges on the left side of my stomach. I never get ovulation or period pain so I don't know if this is something totally unrelated. Also very thirsty today and have a bit of a headache, which is weird, because I'm drinking so much water. These probably have nothing to do with pregnancy but it's very hard not to symptom spot 🤣

Lots of clouds in this thread today. Come on ladies, we're all still in this. Happy thoughts. We got this! Lol that's my best cheerleader impersonation 😅

Saying all that I've had a sinus infection for about 4 weeks now and just have been feeling overall run down all winter. It'll be a wonderful pick me up if that test line appears.

Confusedddddddd · 24/01/2024 23:03

Well I've been feeling super crampy and twinges today, I've had this in the past, and it's not really meant anything, but who knows?

Of course after saying I wasn't going to order any sensitive tests, I have. Partly because I've had a shit week and I want some wine tommorow so will make sure I'm not pregnant first :).

robinmarl · 25/01/2024 09:20

TBH january is the worst month to be enduring tww!

@Confusedddddddd i have also done the same having said to myself that I was going to take it easy this month ha.

Got a negative on an easy @ home strip this morning (obviously - only 8dpo!) With my first, I only got a faint negative after my period was 2 days late so I don’t know what I am expecting!!

Applesandcake · 25/01/2024 10:19

6dpo, woke with a migraine which could be a good sign as mine are linked to hormones, so could be hormones up and down. However, I can’t help see it as a bad sign as I normally get them when my progesterone dips, which if I wasn’t pregnant it would be around now that it would begin to dip.

One boob hurts! And I felt a bit sick this morning but that most likely is because I had a migraine.

Pololol · 25/01/2024 10:48

Morning ladies, how is everyone doing? So I tested this morning as I have woken up slightly nauseous the last 2 mornings (plus have had very tender breasts for a few days). It seems like it should be too early for a positive test as my Natural Cycles is telling me that I ovulated between a week and 5 days ago. Am I just seeing things or do you see a positive line on this? Tested twice as I didn’t believe the first one! The top one is about 15 mins old, so not reliable, but the line I see appeared within about 2 or 3 and got darker after it evaporated. Ahhhhhhh - input on how early it is would be very appreciated to see if I can trust the result!

Anyone else in their fertile window?
Pololol · 25/01/2024 10:50

@Applesandcake Have my fingers crossed for you that the migraine is good news. Have never had one but can only imagine it’s awful, headaches are bad enough!!

robinmarl · 25/01/2024 10:56

@Pololol That looks positive to me! I can also see a faint line on the second one, is that within the time frame? Maybe you ovulated earlier than you thought…? What cycle day are you on?

Pololol · 25/01/2024 11:11

@robinmarl glad it’s not just me!
yes that was 3 mins after taking it. I’m cycle day 26. Possibly I did, but I was taking LH tests twice a day and never got a positive the whole time..! Although on CD 13 my LH test did have a line but it wasn’t strong enough to count as a positive. My basal body temp tracking data led Natural Cycles to estimate my ovulation date on cycle day 18-21.

robinmarl · 25/01/2024 11:20

@Pololol I used LH and natural cycles at the time of my first pregnancy, never had a LH ‘high’ either and apparently managed to conceive 7 days before supposed ovulation - you never know what your body is actually up to 😄 congratulations!
