So yesterday I was 5-6dpo and I went to the toilet and wiped before I weed for a change and had just a little bit of what looked like brownish blood on the paper only a little bit not enough to be wet or anything. Same this morning I’ve attached a picture. What does it look like to you guys does it look like blood? Something else? I had quite a bit of cm 3-4 dpo but seem to be drying up now.

If I said yes- would that assure you that you're pregnant and that it's time to celebrate? Probably not. in which case it almost doesn't matter.

You'll ultimately have to wait to take a next in a week or so. There's no escaping the 2WW I'm afraid.

MUM2Beautifulgirl28 · 10/01/2024 11:23

I’m just asking for opinions. I know nothings certain. But thank you for your reply.

I don't understand why you come on these threads and just keep giving people a reality check all the time. I'm sure the poster knows the facts but is just asking if anyone has experienced the same. And people are hopeful when TTC.

Elisabeth3468 · 10/01/2024 12:30

@MUM2Beautifulgirl28 deffo could be yes x

4LeafCloverBaby · 10/01/2024 12:33

@Outliers For some of us this is the only place we can talk to others about what we are going through. So if one of us asks if we think a symptom could be the start of something, is not an excuse for you to come on our threads & be patronising & unhelpful. If you can’t answer the question or have nothing positive to say, I suggest you just keep scrolling. I see so many comments from you being blunt & unhelpful. You are pregnant now so you are in a different mind set to a lot of us but there are a lot of ladies on here that are very vulnerable emotionally & don’t appreciate your callus approach!

@MUM2Beautifulgirl28 that looks like it could be implantation & it’s around the right time. Everything crossed for you hun 🤞🏼🍀

MUM2Beautifulgirl28 · 10/01/2024 12:41

I’m racking my brains as to what else it could be as I’ve been hopeful many months and nothings ever come of it so my feeling is this month is just going to be the same. Thankyou for your replies x

Has anyone experienced the same amount or colour as this ? With a Bfp outcome? X

It doesn't look much like my implantation bleeding did, mine was much redder, but that doesn't mean it can't be yours. I hope it is.

Outliers · 10/01/2024 13:45

@4LeafCloverBaby @Elisabeth3468 I don't know why anyone would come a public forum accessible to anyone around the world just to reinforce optimism bias.

It's illogical to expect everything you read on a public platform to be things you like. I don't like either of your posts, but you're free to post whatever you want, assuming it falls within forum policy and guidelines.

OP asked a Q; is it implantation bleeding? My view is it's not, and it doesn't matter either way. She still could be (or not) pregnant.

4LeafCloverBaby · 10/01/2024 13:50

@Outliers but you didn’t give your opinion on whether it was or not…which is what she wanted advice on…you wrote a very patronising, unhelpful & unnecessary post. Just think about the way you say things maybe?? If you’re having a bad day then don’t come on here & take it out on others which is what you seem to do…or do us all a favour & head on over to the pregnancy forum instead 👍🏼

@4LeafCloverBaby @Elisabeth3468 Glad someone else said it! 😂 I also see the negative comments all the time and feel sad for the original posters.

@MUM2Beautifulgirl28 This could go either way I suppose but I hope you get the answer you want. If it is implantation bleeding I assumed you’d see some sort of vfl in a couple of days 🤞🏻

4LeafCloverBaby · 10/01/2024 13:57

@Outliers its not about the rules of the forum…it’s about being kind. This forum is meant to be a support for women in likewise situations. Anyway, I’m not the first to call you out & I'm sure I won’t be the last!

emmatcc1 · 10/01/2024 14:01

@MUM2Beautifulgirl28 Mine looked like this.

Elisabeth3468 · 10/01/2024 14:06

@Outliers honestly don't even know why you are constantly checking and commenting on the conception threads if you are now pregnant? And yeah you are very negative.
What's wrong with a bit of faith and hope which is what most people need when ttc , especially if they are having a difficult journey.

@Elisabeth3468 I actually wholeheartedly welcome my posts being challenged or called out. But then I don't come on public forum expecting everything I come across to be purely things I like.

There is absolutely nothing negative about facts and truth. My view is that it's far unhelpful to and unsupportive to reinforce baseless notions.

worrywilma · 10/01/2024 14:17

🍿

SallyWD · 10/01/2024 14:19

It could be, I don't know. My own implementation bleeding looked completely different. It was dark brown and not much of it (like the last day of a period type of blood).

Leoladyttc1 · 10/01/2024 14:22

@MUM2Beautifulgirl28 - I'm in a similar boat! At around 7dpo (on Sunday) I experienced a reddish/brown cm only once, and since then its been the tiniest amount of brown cm when I wipe. I had a 'day 21' progesterone test yesterday which came back with a peak level indicative of having ovulated, so I'd of thought if this was the start of my period my progesterone levels would have been low. The body is so weird!

MUM2Beautifulgirl28 · 10/01/2024 14:23

Good luck and fingers crossed for you let us know if you get your bfp x

momonpurpose · 10/01/2024 14:36

Looks like mine only at the time I assumed I was spotting and getting my period.

emmatcc1 · 10/01/2024 14:37

@MUM2Beautifulgirl28 I meant to say my implantation bleeding looked just like the pictures you posted. I had mine on 7dpo and waited until af was due and got a very strong positive.
