I'm 1dpo and it's already dragging 🙄

Anyone else in TWW or TTC in January?

I'm really struggling this week and I was doing really well up to this. Im 9 weeks postpartum - emergency section. First period came back last Thurs and ended Monday but had light pink discharge yesterday. And now thinking the worst that my system is messed up or I won't be able to conceive again in the future. I'm in bits.

@Ella31 I think it’s quite common after pregnancy for the body to take a few cycles to get back in to its rhythm (certainly this was the case for some of my friends) 9 weeks pp is still very early - maybe speak to a doctor to see when they would expect cycles to regulate? Try not to panic, pregnancy is such a toll on the body and the hormones it will just be regulating itself im sure!

@Ella31 don't worry that's all completely normal, it took my periods a few months to get back to normal PP with DS1!

Just trying to catch up on this thread! What DPO is everyone? When is everyone testing?

I am 10dpo and think I'm going to test in the morning. Had constant cramps since ovulation and started getting some nausea other symptoms. Fingers crossed I'm not making them all up in my head 😫

Fingers crossed. Fair play for holding out. It looks like I'm ovulating very soon after my period, cervical mucus and flashing smiley today.

7dpo, and I tested this morning knowing full well it would be negative! Well done for holding out. Also been cramping since OV but now thinking my period is probably on its way. The only symptom I had with my first early on was sore boobs on the sides by my armpit and no sign of that!

I got AF today so I'm out this cycle. Good look everyone who's not tested yet. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

@Ella31 try not to worry, I’m sure you’ll
be fine! I’m a spotter too, before AF, after, in the middle, lol. There are so many stories of people on here successfully conceiving regardless. Like others have said, your body is just still adjusting. You’ll be okay 😊

I’m 8dpo going to test in the morning 🤞🏽

9dpo today, tested this morning but with 2nd mu and it was negative. Probably just going to be testing daily until AF arrives if I'm honest 🙈

Gave in didn’t I knowing full well no point of course a bfn for me just going to use my ovulation tests as I have a ton of them and if that’s positive I no to take a pregnancy test, if it doesn’t happen this month I’ll go to the clear blue ovulation tests they are expensive but seem to be better then the cheapie Amazon ones in my opinion

I think I'm about 8/9dpo. Hoping not to test until I'm actually late- so probably this time next week. Will see how that works out though... 😬
So will an OPK show up as positive in the same way a pregnancy test does? (Not that I need this information when I literally just said the sentence before I was going to resist testing!) X

@Sandwichesandwine i had the same theory. Didn't want to test but I was having symptons so just checked an opk test. I got very high readings, still only a faint line on a hcg test though

Interesting. I might do an OPK first then if/when the time comes. Just to soften the blow (and save me wasting the one pregnancy test I have in the drawer!) Thanks, I love how useful these threads are! X

So update from me.... I'm somewhere around 9dpo today. BFN yesterday on a Boots early test...I knew far too early just wanted to scratch that itch... massive indent on it too.

Been exhausted all week (could be linked to COVID though I'm finally testing negative today!), tiny fleeting moments of nausea, and still having light cramping in lower stomach area at times (was a lot stronger a few days ago though).

Ordered some easy@home opks on a whim from Amazon, ready for next month, but took one this evening when they arrived and got a positive. Never tested at this stage in cycle before to know if normal or not, but did see a few people say they'd done this, looks like doesn't mean anything, so not drawing any conclusions yet. Will do a pregnancy test tomorrow I think (evening annoyingly).

@siobhanmt247 so maybe my photo above isn't dark enough looking at yours. Were any of those approx 9dpo?

@PenguinOnTheMoon the bottom 2 are 9 dpo. I think yours are picking up hcg. Definitely test

@siobhanmt247 I'll break the frer out tomorrow eve after work....don't want the yes/no hanging over me during a big meeting tomorrow. Wasn't going to swap to the expensive tests til Sunday otherwise but still very early!

Good luck. It's always been a sign for me. That last high opk on the pic was from the day I tested for my little girl who's now 13 months :)
