I'm 1dpo and it's already dragging 🙄

Anyone else in TWW or TTC in January?

Me...I'm currently just finished after and heading into month 6 of ttc..if joined the gym and hopefully am going to try and forget about ttc this month onwards and nothing seems to be working 😆

Kofifi · 02/01/2024 21:12

Yes me! I'm 3 dpo and driving myself mad. We did everything "right" this month so really getting my hopes up.

PenguinOnTheMoon · 02/01/2024 21:27

Hi!

First post here, but been reading a few threads/posts on MN this last week or so while (im)patiently awaiting my fertile window and ovulation day.

I'm 32, DH 38, and it's our first month TTC...all very exciting!

I'm assuming today is ovulation day as I had the static smiley on the Clear Blue reader this morning and potentially ovulation pain last night. So assuming 1 dpo starts from tomorrow? Hoping to DTD tonight but both come down with colds today so motivation low on both sides.

Hoping for a busy tww to keep everyone occupied and distracted!

Wonderpants3 · 02/01/2024 21:33

4DPO in cycle 4 of TTC #2 had a CP in October and Covid which has really messed up my cycles. Have the week off this week so doing lots of ‘me time’ stuff to keep myself occupied!

MrsP20202 · 02/01/2024 21:39

Hey girls ! Back here again not in the tww yet by my app I ovulate on Saturday, been taking my lh strips and so far all negative but gradually getting darker, trying for baby no.3 just turned 29 but it seems to be the hardest this time round. Me and hubby had our first in 2020 and our second in 2022 so here’s hoping for baby no. 3 in 2024 😂🙏

Bey · 02/01/2024 22:12

Hey, good luck to you all! I'm kind of in the two week wait, but it's complicated as I had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago so actually have no idea what day I am on my cycle or anything. Midwife said we could try again as soon as I felt ready didn't have to wait for my period so we're just going for it!

this 2 weeks or more is going to be torture! I would have been over 12weeks by now if I hadn't lost our baby so it's hard starting all over again!

Bugdem123 · 02/01/2024 22:24

I'll join as I'm 1DPO too. We were just going to DTD every other day in an effort to be more relaxed but my watch tracks my BBT and I noticed my CM so I don't think I really achieved the aim in all honesty 😅. I have quite a bit on over the next 2 weeks - I'm back to work tomorrow, have plans with friends Thursday and Friday night, dinner with my family on Saturday, starting a new fitness class next week and starting a book club so hopefully time flies by. This is cycle 3 of trying after a MMC in September so really hoping this is the one for me.

TrainIsMoving · 03/01/2024 01:00

Hi, I'm dpo 5, hoping for a sibling for DS. Had a few losses last year so hoping we still have time

Skye49 · 03/01/2024 01:08

Hi im around 4/5dpo i think, driving myself crazy with symptom guessing, period meant to be in 9 days so trying to hold out till then but the thought of testing is just to tempting so will probs cave before then, good luck to everyone. Fingers crossed its all ur month x

Daisyrobin123 · 03/01/2024 09:24

Hi! I'm 5DPO today, on cycle 2 of trying for baby number 2.
It took 3 cycles last time. Im not feeling positive this month but I think I just expect the worst to make any disappointment easier!

The 2ww is dragging but I think because I'm off work I've got more time to think about it. I'm not planning on testing until after AF is due if it doesn't turn up.. but we shall see!

2bumpsor3 · 03/01/2024 09:27

Hi I'm TTC, not in tww yet. Only on CD 7

It's officially our first month TTC number 2. We have an 8 year old!

I am 33, took us quite a while to get pregnant with DC1 so I'm going to just take it as it comes

HolyMoly24 · 03/01/2024 12:37

I'm 1 dpo today, it's going to be a long TWW!

Good luck and baby dust to everyone! Hoping to see lots of BFP's here

glovepillow22 · 03/01/2024 12:50

Hi, we officially started TTC this month for the first time although it's tricky as DH works away for 5 weeks at a time.
We just missed my ovulation (managed to DTD on the 1st and according to flo I ovulate on the 5th but I have had some ovulation pains this week so really not too sure where I am tbh, don't want to go down the OPK route just yet). We miss February as he is away so can try again in March. Its terrifying and exciting all in one!

Newmumwales · 03/01/2024 13:34

Heyyy! I’m 40 with DC5. We caught straight away with DD. We only DTD once but think it was just before ovulation. Who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m supposed to be 6DPO today. How we all feeling? I’m so run down with a virus since New Year’s Eve.

Can I join ye ladies? Bit of my backstory

I lost my twin boys at 29 weeks - 2 months ago. One stillborn my other son died 4 days later. I'm trying again and currently 8dpo. Have back pain and sore breasts so feel like my period is coming. Feeling quite sad to think it's a period. Hoping I'll get another bpf soon. Started testing today and was a bfn. Gutted as my positive with my twins was 8/9 dpo.

DaisyJones6 · 03/01/2024 15:34

Hey everyone, Happy New Year 🥳

Im 43, husband 38 and we are trying for our second baby together (I have a daughter of 12 and he has another son of 11) …

This is our third cycle trying. I’m worrying because of my age and whether I’m in perimenopause, but still hopeful that I’m not.

Today I’m 7dpo and it’s usually the day I start testing. But I’m being good and leaving it until Friday morning to start.

Had strong ovulation pains this cycle and even a little spotting, which I have never had before. My boobs are tender, gums a bit sore and I am craving tea constantly (usually a coffee drinker!) so I’m hopeful this may be it ❤️

@DaisyJones6 sounds promising! Keep us updated when you do a test

@Ella31 I'm so sorry you had to go through that, wishing you lots of luck for this cycle you deserve it!!

Thanks @HolyMoly24 , pretty sure my af is coming, I've back pain for a few days now. Just haven't a clue when as I haven't had a period for months

MrsRandallFraser · 03/01/2024 16:17

I may or may not be...have had irregular cycles since coming off the pill a few months ago...a 38 day cycle followed by a 24 day cycle. Can't seem to catch the peak on OPKs but think I may have ovulated around Christmas Eve so might be 10DPO, but if it's another short cycle, I'm closer to 14DPO... I haven't got any early response tests, so not really sure when to test using a normal one? Any advice?

I would test now using an Amazon cheapy x

MrsRandallFraser · 03/01/2024 16:40

Thanks for the reply @DaisyJones6 (side note, I literally finished reading Daisy Jones and the Six two days ago). I might take a cheapy test when I get home then :) I'm in that hopeful place where I can convince myself I am pregnant until AF says otherwise but a BFN on a test would take all that hope away if that makes sense.

I could be wrong but the FRER are notorious at the moment for indents, just to give you a heads up. You can't get any in Ireland where I am at the mo. But boots cheapies are supposed to good and maybe a digital if you get two lines on those

What OPK's are you using?

I know exactly what you mean, it’s so bloody hard to gauge it, isn’t it. Best of luck!

I have just started the book after watching the show - huge Fleetwood Mac fan anyway, but ah I just loved it 😊

@Ella31 I didn’t know that about the FRER! Thank you for mentioning it, that’s usually my go to after an Amazon one!
