Hi

just wondering if anyone else is in limbo land? I am 4 DPO and been having some symptoms, tender boobs, nausea, cramping but obviously to early to test .

Just wondered if anyone in the same situation

Well …. 12DPO and wiped this morning and I’ve got spotting of blood! Did pregnancy test yesterday and it was BFN so this must be my period starting!

AF due Monday / Tuesday. Just had some very light brown spotting, nothing since. I’ve never had spotting before but must just be AF on the way, although no cramps at all which is unusual. After 2 negative tests already I’m so scared to get my hopes up!

I'm in exactly the same situation, most of the time it's the beginning of a period but let's wait to find out what happens next!

This does sound promising @PinkFlamingo888 @Internette do people ever get random spotting I thought that was just a sign of implanting??

@Mumma8538 AF has arrived!!!! So Christmas DTD it is 😂 is there another thread we need to move to? It will be a BFP aim for January now.

@PinkFlamingo888 brown can be implantation? Old blood?

AF is here! So weird, no cramping at all this month which is very very unusual for me so I really thought I’d got away with it! Never mind, 2024 it is!!

AF is flowing today! 2024 we are coming for you! This will be my first month trying this cycle. When’s everyone’s fertile week? Do I need to be getting some strips or just go by Flo like I did with DC1?

@Newmumwales mine is a corker is yours? Are you going to just track ovulation on the app or go for the ovulation strips! Im thinking might be a good thing to get the strips as age is against me… My app says 27th - 31st is my window… I’ll probably be so knackered from Christmas .. be asleep by 9 😆

oh dear you to @PinkFlamingo888 maybe Jan 2024 is your month! Maybe the no cramping means a lighter AF ( which is always nice)

Hi @Mumma8538 AF is finally here, at 11dpo 😔 it's very light but the cramps in my stomach say definitely AF. Annoying but actually I have a big project in work September so at least I won't miss that. Trying to find a positive somewhere 🤔

@Newmumwales my fertile week is 24th - 29th according to my app. Not sure whether to get some ovulation sticks to confirm or whether to just crack on!
I'm working shifts over the period so always had to fit it in at the right times, at least DH is off, so I’m sure we’ll find the time!

I’ve just ordered thermometer and also OPK sticks. No idea what I’m doing mind you. I caught straight away with DC1. I like the idea that we are all in this together on the same week. We will be doing pregnant tests second week of January

I’m trying to convince myself to do nothing this month. If I was to get pregnant this month I’d be due the week of my best friend’s wedding and I’m a bridesmaid so would be a bit inconvenient! I’m not going to be careful and whatever happens happens but going to stop actively trying and secretly hope the relaxed approach is beneficial!

Im going to do another early test in the morning. AF is due Thursday and my cervix hasn't dropped as usual, is still raised and soft and it's been 2 weeks since OV. That and I'm still having different symptoms to my usual pms and have had heartburn the past 2 days whilst I've been away which is unusual for me... fingers crossed.

@PinkFlamingo888 ill be like that in February and March. Don’t want to conceive in February as the baby will have same November birthday as my daughter. Dont want to then conceive in March as will then be a Christmas birthday lol!

Is anybody else nervous for this month? My AF has now stopped and I’m like okay this is it! I’m going to have a change to do this in the next two weeks but I’m not sure when I’ll catch 😂😂

How did you get on with testing @elleaddams or is it this morning that you are testing?

@PinkFlamingo888 they do say the relaxed approach does work. Sorry I’m new to ovulating tracking but is it not the case you do it once month and if you have regular AF it’s not just the same every month - sorry if that’s a silly question.

@Newmumwales mine was a Corker of an AF it was really heavy 😭 where did you order your bits from, as I might actually give it a go and see if I ovulate when I think I do !

@Impatient1987 where will we find the energy ha over Christmas… Christmas cheer I’m hoping ! Did your AF come into full swing?

@Mumma8538 it was a BFN :( Think I'm out of the running this month. My bbt dropped to 36.1 this morning after being 36.5 every day for 2 weeks which is usually my bodies way of telling me my AF will start in the next 24 hours

Sorry if you already know this and hope this doesn't come across patronising if you have got one, but make sure the thermometer is a BBT one and reads to .2 decimal points. In ear standard ones aren't reliable for reading BBT and it needs to be say under your tongue as soon as you wake up each morning. I just mention it because I see a lot of people not aware that it's a different kind of temperature taking to say when you're poorly and buying the wrong thermometers
