Hiya! I just got my positive opk today so ovulating tomorrow and then 1dpo again so I’ll be a few days behind but happy to join 😊

We’re TTC #1 and on cycle 5 what about you? 😊

This time round I seem to have an absolute test addiction 🫣

@NLmum4 ah I see, it can be very hard not to test but I’ve been finding it really disappointing to see bfns so have been trying my best not to test unless AF doesn’t show which I have failed the last two cycles but hey only tested once last cycle so getting better 😂

I do BBT so generally can tell when AF is on her way so I’ll try to stick to that. I’m extremely busy in work so I’d like to think that 2 weeks will go by fast but who knows.

at least recently my cycles have been slowly regulating to a more normal length as after ttc it went to like 37 days and very late ovulations. But I’m slowly trying to chill put and that seems to be helping. Obviously can’t wait for it to happen for us especially as I see close people IRL having babies and my brother in law got his girlfriend pregnant accidentally although they miscarried (they were definitely not trying at all) so can feel disappointing when we’re trying and no luck. 5 months is still early on but we obviously want it asap don’t we? 😅

its always nice to have company at least, we got another thread going too if you have seen BBT to a BFP in September (a bit outdated now 😂) and most of the ladies there have got their bfps now but we’re all very supportive there too if you’d like to join there as well 😊

Yes it's hard when everyone around seems to be having babies. Even though we are the early days a negative is so frustrating.
Only started tracking bbt just getting my head around it.
When I conceived previously don't track bbt. dtd on peak day and seemed to work. I haven't been able to manage to this time round on exactly peak day- wonder for me if that's the key
What's the name of the other post - I searched 'bbt to a bfp' couldn't see.

Hey ladies! Baby #1 and cycle #5, kind of. It’s the first one where we’ve really tried I think as DH now seems to understand the importance of timing!

Joining as I think I’m 1DPO? According to Flo anyway but I’m not sure that’s the most accurate… we’ve DTD 4 times this week so hoping we caught it. I’ve been using ovulation tests and monitoring my temp but not seen any obvious changes. My period has been irregular since I came off contraception too but seems to be coming back to a 35 day cycle. Crossing fingers for everyone!!

Hi I'd love to join currently 6 or 7dpo so not 1 like u guys but on cycle 4 ..I have a 17 and 13 year old so quite a gap ..im 37 so worried time is against me 😪this next week is going to be so hard...I promised myself I wouldn't test early...yeah right who am I kidding lol

Hello! I am 5 or 6 DPO I believe, hard to know as have had irregular periods since coming off the pill a few months ago but had a +ve OPK this month. Only second month of trying but already finding it quite challenging to not constantly overthink it so its nice to hear others experiences!

I had this weird thing on day after ovulation - really strong camps bottom of tummy . Never felt anything like it .
Are you all tracking bbt?

Yeah it’s so hard not to question every symptom 🙈
I have been trying to track BBT with an oral thermometer but find there is quite a lot of variation and know you have to do it in quite a specific way for it to be accurate so thinking that’s probably why.
what does you BBT usually go up to/ drop down to before AF?

I have only done bbt properly this month - but my understanding is the temp goes down just before af.
I agree the temps can vary / mine has been a lot higher since ovulation (2 days ago). Will be interesting to see what happens
Looking back on previous pregnancies didn't get a bfp till 11-12 dpo. Seems ages to go

@Bugs22mk A lot can make bbt change but for me bbt drops usually the day of AF although last cycle bbt dropped the day after AF showed up. I’ve done bbt for 4 cycles now and find it useful to confirm ovulation and then to let me know when/if AF is coming especially since I normally don’t have any symptoms at all

@NLmum4 yeah mine has gone up also so I’m hoping that in combination with LH means I have actually ovulated. What day do you usually start testing? Did you have any early symptoms with your previous pregnancies?

@CatiaR Ah ok that’s good to know as don’t really have a regular cycle so all a bit unknown of what I’m looking for

I'm not tracking temp due to already tracking opks which is already stressful enough u don't want to over loaf myself...if it dosnt work this month I'm not going to track it at all going forward and just do every other day

@Bugs22mk symptoms with other pregnancies - first (which didn't last beyond 12 weeks) - I didn't test till 15 dpo as back then I had more self control 😜 thought it was 12 but looking at notes now and don't test till then. Symptoms I did have were
11dpo - spare breasts
12dpo - felt sick , terrible mood , white discharge, sore breasts
13dpo - strong sense smell
14 dpo strong sense smell, sore breast
15 dpo strong sense of smell

2nd - healthy pregnancy - tested positive day 11 and was testing leading up to it. My notes not so details but feeling tired , runny nose , sore breasts , urinating more

3rd - healthy pregnancy - sore throat, runny nose, slept in middle of the day, strong sense of smell

Sore breasts not spare 🫣

And with the 2nd right at the beginning before I knew it drank half glass of wine and puked it up - that might of been coincidence but was first hint that cycle

I'm having period cramps. Very odd .

@NLmum4 ah ok, so varied the symptoms you can have! so hard not question every slight feeling, although realistically I haven't had anything that's out of the ordinary.

Hmmmm how many DPO are you now? 4? too early for it to be AF arriving? Maybe the cramps are a good sign?

@NLmum4 hello! I promised I wouldn't go onto these threads this time but here I am 2 DPO and itching to test 😂

I had an early miscarriage at the start of the month which hit me harder than I thought it would at such an early stage. But I had 3 MCs before having DS and I thought when I saw the positive test that surely this would stick I had, had my share. Although if I am honest I think I did suspect because the lines were not getting darker even after I missed my period I just didn't want to believe it.

Anyway we DTD a good bit last week including Peak day, and it was a high peak (I use easy at home on the premom app) and on ovulation day so hopefully it will be enough.

I'm feeling quite sick today, but I think it's a cold coming on. There is no way I have symptoms at 2DPO!

The premom app is saying to test on 8th December, no way will I wait that long!!

I'm just tad ahead and 4/5 dpo and using the same app. Says to test 6 dec. I love testing so will be doing it before . Tests are my guilty pleasure 🫣😁

@NLmum4 thanks, I went to the GP to have blood drawn to take to EPU to confirm the MC, they took more blood at EPU (I live in rural Ireland things are different here!). But my GP phoned me to see how I got on and she said next time I get a BFP to come in for bloods, and she will re-do them a few days later so I'll be doing that this time. I hate going to EPU. We won the GP lottery here.

Anyway, yes I am a fiend for testing. I nearly did an OPK this afternoon but the LH was so low yesterday there really was no point

How do you find doing the temp? I tried when TTC no1 but kept forgetting so gave up! I have cheap tests arriving on Friday I will probably start testing at 8DPO

Ah that's a lovely gp. Yes I can imagine the epu would be a terrible trigger.
I recall reading or hearing somewhere more fertile cycle after mc. Crossing fingers for u 🤞🤞🤞
I'm doing the lh everyday still as never done that before - actually twice a day- just to check
I'm like u - I'm not best at doing temperature but will keep trying 🤔
Still having on and off period style cramps and now lower back ache

We should enjoy the testing 😁 so Friday you will be 8/9 dpo? I have heard of positives then. I'm hoping for an early bfp and it being twins 😁 I can hope 😉

@NLmum4 She is great, my mam lives 2 hours away and has to wait over a week some times for a GP appointment, mine phones to check in with me!

I did LH testing for longer last time just to see. I might do one this afternoon I have a few left. Friday I'll only be 5DPO, what will you be?

I will test around 7/8 DPO I got a BFP at that the last time. With DS I had blazing BFPs but he was a twin. The second one never had a heart beat and 'vanished'

I'm not really sure what any of the symptoms are, it's probably too early for you to have period pain so maybe it's implantation?

Did you have any ovulation signs? I didn't this time last time I had EWCM and ovulation bleeding, nothing this time. But my LH went to 1.44 which is the highest I've ever had
