Right folks...what's going on in here, eh?

Kay - thank you for demonstrating I am not the only drunkard on this thread . Hope you feel better!

No LL? She did say she was away for a few days so we'll just have to be patient

Which brings me to my next point...

NJ NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! No HCG in urine until around 48 hours after implantation (which is usually 7-10 days after OV). So, no explanation for the tummy...

I should tell you though...I have peed on three sticks today One OPK, one cheapy ebay dipstick and one early one I had lying around...

Starshinetiger · 24/03/2008 15:43
  • I made it throught lent giving up chocolate, but I've definitely enjoyed being back on it since yesterday ! Although has taken the enjoyment away a little for me, which is a good thing, as I was an addict before - hopefully now I can just enjoy a bit every now and again...

So Teuch, you say you've peed on 3 sticks today, but you have'nt said what they said!!! ... are you missing out something important, or are you just testing for OV?!

Nat - does sound strange symptoms - I hate to say it, but it sounds exactly like what I get when I've eaten wheat (I'm intolerant) and I get really bad bloating and stomach cramps (Sorry if TMI). I can look a few months pregnant if it's really bad!

Kay - sorry to hear re. hangover, but glad you had a good night out.

Right, should really be getting on with cleaning now, as need to clear all dust up before we can decorate. Must go as DS will be up from nap soon.

Glad you've all had lovely easters.

MoosMa · 24/03/2008 17:35

Nat, I looked about 5 months pg yesterday and had really bad pains, do you want to know what it was?

Do ya?

Well, I sorted it out by lying on my tummy and doing a MAHOOOOSIVE trump! It was bloat from eating too much for dinner (big roast at parents' house) which included roast shallots (bad move!).

NatalieJane · 24/03/2008 17:43

Ahhhh Teuch voice of reason!

But other explanations so far don't fit either, I don't have any intolences or allergies or anything like that, and it is not wind!

It has been here like this since Friday, not as bad in the morning (but still very noticabale), but by the end of the day it is huge, accompanied by the cramps, not windy cramps, period pain type cramps, which I don't really get even when I am due on.

laughalot · 24/03/2008 18:24

Crashing nj

kayzisbroody · 24/03/2008 18:48

No Teuch, you're not the only drunkard!!
I feel much better now.

I'm starting my diet tomorrow as I'm fed up of looking at my size 10 clothes and not being able to wear them. So salad is all I am eating from now on for Lunch and then healthy food for dinner.

Hopefully I'll stick to it this time

BB, you were poorly? All better now? WOW for the new laptop Did you tell your mum about the old one breaking in the end? There are lots of people gonna be testing this week I think, ! No BFP's yet though, though this is the week when it is going to happen on this thread! I can feel it in me water's..... OK I can't but probability says it is bound to be this week!!!

LL where are youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu???

DH fixed the shower whooooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo No more watering can debacles to put up with in the mornings!

Big belly still here, though cramps are starting to wear off I think. Not saying anything else about it, if I forget about it, it might just deflate......

kayzisbroody · 25/03/2008 07:38

Morning all,

I enjoyed the long weekend.

No Pot Noodles. I weighed myself this morning and I weigh 13st 10lbs!!!! so I am bloody determined to do it.

We have also decided we might stop ttc if I'm not pg this time so I can lose the weight.

I am having hair problems today.

Hope everyone is ok!!

BigTeuchLittleTeuch · 25/03/2008 07:57

Kay - it is really up to you, but I was 13st when I fell pregnant last time, and 12st something after he was born

I personally think that putting off ttc for the sole reason of losing weight puts far to much focus/pressure on you and your weight and in my experience that is not a successful route to weight loss.

Having said that, losing weight may help you conceive. I remember somebody doing Slimming world whilst ttc and pregnant on my last antenatal thread. Have a look through the weight loss/pg threads and see what you can start without stopping ttc. (It was cantsleepwontsleep btw and she is pg again)

kayzisbroody · 25/03/2008 08:02

The doctor told me I weigh too much to be ttc. I need to lose about 4 stone before I am at the weight I should be for my height.

I'd also like to lose the weight before going on holiday. I want to be able to sunbathe and wear nice clothes.

tinkerbell2 · 25/03/2008 08:14

morning ladies
mm lol you sorted out problem then
hi bmlb glad that you are back feeling better and with new laptop
k as long as you are losing weight for yourself go for it

kayzisbroody · 25/03/2008 08:38

I am losing the weight for myself and for my bank balance

I want to get back into my size 10 clothes. I have loads I bought just before I got pg with ds that I have never worn. I want to be able to wear them. Plus I can't afford to buy lots of new clothes.

popcornprincess · 25/03/2008 09:21

hi all - well BFN this weekend. Ho hum - next month maybe

kayzisbroody · 25/03/2008 09:36

I'm sorry popcorn. Fingers crossed for next month.

Diege · 25/03/2008 09:46

Morning . Aww bad luck Popcorn , are you OK?
I', with you on the losing weight thing Kay - lets inspire each other, and no more talk of choccy!
Teuch, agree that SW is great when ttc/pregnant. I try and stick to the basic premises of it everyday, but my sweet tooth is my downfall!
Morning Tinkerbell, and welcome back BB!!

laughalot · 25/03/2008 09:47

Nj I would love to join you but a and l are enough for me at the moment. I am a bit though xxx

popcornprincess · 25/03/2008 09:58

yeah - I'm fine. Like always I had convinced myself that I was but to be honest I was thining it might be a BFN as my body seems a bit confused after my m/c. May be it just needs to settle down first. Thanks for asking diege.

BigTeuchLittleTeuch · 25/03/2008 10:08

Sorry Pop, is such a heartsink when you get the negative. Especially when you feel pg.

I am about 11dpo and bfn - I know it is early but I don't feel pregnant anyway. I have a few wee things that I could convince myself are symptoms but I am trying to stay sensible this month .

I would rather not fall pregnant next month as it would most likely mean xmas and new year away from home (and DH ) but I am too impatient to miss a month!

NatalieJane · 25/03/2008 10:37

Sorry Pop and Teuch I don't think it matters when you test, early, on time, late, when you see a BFN, it is always dissapointing. I think even if you're not TTC'ing and a baby is the very last thing you need/want, a BFN is still a tiny bit dissapointing. But looking on the positive side (no pun intended!) it isn't over until your period shows up, that's what I tell myself anyway, not sure it makes any difference!

Oh my shower this morning was loverrrrrrly Heaven, in my half painted, half not, bathroom

DS2's walking is coming along, he walked the length of the room yesterday, didn't even stop to throw himself on the beanbag, which is his favourite past time at the moment...

And, although I didn't actually smoke very many, so not a huge deal, I have stopped smoking, not had one since Friday (I think it was, might have been Thursday, this long weekend has mucked all my days up! Don't even know what CD I am on....

NatalieJane · 25/03/2008 10:38

Oh and Lotta, 3 kids will be a sinch, no problem...... won't it?

popcornprincess · 25/03/2008 10:43

well period isn't here yet but it's only a matter of hours away me thinks as I have cramps and need to sleep so badly. I'm sitting at my desk in a trance. Can't believe it only 10.43. It feels like it's the middle of the night

kayzisbroody · 25/03/2008 10:47

I am on CD18 and I'm starting to feel a little anxious.

I'm looking for b&b's in Whitby as we want to do the ghost walk! I will be scared sh*tless so I don't know why I want to do it.

NatalieJane · 25/03/2008 10:51

Fingers crossed it doesn't come. You'd have thought in this day and age, there would be a 'iPregnantPod' thing, just push a button and you're pregnant, in fact, that would be fantastic because it would obviously have pause, rewind and fast forward buttons, you could pause it to have a good night out, fast forward through the mind numbing boringness of most some of the pregnancy, fast forward through labour, rewind back to those first few moments holding your new baby, then fast forward till they are 18 and you can kick 'em out the door

How do I make one of them?

NatalieJane · 25/03/2008 10:53

Sorry last message was to Pop, Kay how dare you post while I am thinking of new technologies?

Ghost walks? For what? To see a g g g g g ghost
