3 years trying, I can’t believe it - line eyes!

I have been on this board for over 3 years, and have watched with joy other line eyes threads hoping it will be me one day.

I had this this morning!! I cannot believe my eyes. I’m around 11dpo, and I can’t believe how strong it is.

3 years of trying, one round of IVF in Jan this year, and it’s actually happened.

I have never had a BFP, ever! I’ve never uttered the words, I’ve never let myself think it could be true, as I’ve had so many blank tests and failed months.

This gives me so much hope. If you’re struggling, hang in there. I am proof it can happen.

Congratulations!!!!! Enjoy every moment! My Dh & I say pregnant to each other every time we see each other! Similar boat to you trying for couple of years before a bfp! So happy for you!

@whomoon good you've got a dip pot, to keep the humour up when the midwife asks for a 'sample' and you can't see your feet (let alone anything else!) having a big 'target' to aim for helps. Pregnancy takes all glamour we have away but it is soooo worth it!!

Hi everyone, I thought I would update the thread :)

I’m 4 weeks 1 day today and these are my tests! Top one is from 3 days ago, and the bottom 2 are from today.

I’ve had popcorn type feeling the first two days, but yesterday was a constant cramp. I really had to slow down walking as it was so uncomfortable. As soon as I got home, I put on my comfy trousers and relaxed my tummy to help ease the bloat and that definitely helped!

I’ve also got sore boobs and burping. But the most noticeable is the constant feeling in my uterus. Makes me feel happy to feel it all the time, knowing what’s going on in there :)

@whomoon I've had 3 children and every single time the biggest giveaway was a watery feeling in mouth that tasted like blood/metal

Congratulations! I'm so happy for you. It took us 4+ years to concieve our first so I understand how you're feeling. Enjoy every second of it, you've waited long enough. (We're now on cycle 3 TTC number 2, I'm hoping it happens faster this time round!) X

Did you manage to find out how to register with your community midwife yet?

I did! I found the phone number on my GP website, so rang up and gave my details. A midwife will call me back to arrange the first appointment 🙂🙂

Ive found my closest early scanning clinic too, so hope to have that booked shortly. It’s all go!!
